College Junior

Majors: I am in my first year and not eligible for an internship yet. I have heard good things about placement, however, and am not worried about obtaining one that is relevant to my degree.

College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: I am not aware of such a program.

Parking: Alliant is an intimate campus. There is always plenty of parking and no need to park off-campus.

3 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: Alliant is tucked away in a quiet suburb. If you want night life, a short drive into San Diego would suffice.

4 College Junior

Diversity: Alliant is one of the few colleges that strive for multi-cultural awareness and sensitivity. Diversity training is the goal rather than a ticked box that will bring in more revenue.

3 College Junior

Drug Safety: I have not seen any drugs or heard of any drugs on the campus.

4 College Junior

Weather: The weather there is nice and sunny.

College Junior

Computers: I have my computer at my home. I'm taking a online courses at Alliant International University.

4 College Senior

Transportation: Lots of parking and a bus stop in the middle of the campus.

Weather: San Diego is known for its mediterranean climate which is ideal for getting around campus. Good weather means less chances of classes and activities canceling and promotes outdoor socialization.

Scholarships: I received a substantial loan amount but no grant or scholarship funding. You are on your own in navigating the site and figuring out what forms you need to submit (basically you have to train yourself). You may make an appointment to speak to a financial aid officer, however, there is a long wait to get an appointment and it is difficult to reach a live person to make that appointment. Phone messages are seldom returned.

Facilities: The building is older, but there are no real issues with the facilities. Everything functions as it should and students do not complain about a lack in this area.

Weather: Sacramento has nice weather for most of the year. Some rain and cold weather, but no snow and the spring and summer are perfect.
