3 College Sophomore

Parking: I don't drive so parking isn't really important to me. But there is enough space for those that drive

3 College Student

Academics: It's not the best, But as far as the teachers they are Great

4 College Sophomore

Majors: It is great to be a social science major. Professors are helpful.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: They have a great variety of options, but if you transfer your credits may not.

5 College Sophomore

Academics: My major is very interesting. My professors have a lot of experience in the field and are people I am glad I meant. Each one has taught me a life lesson.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: Allen University has a good variety of food choices.

Parking: The parking at Allen is a bit outrageous I must say. They have very limited space for us to park, but the cost is reasonable. I think its unsafe for us to park on the side of the road because of oncoming traffic. Also if u park on the side u have to make sure you don't park inside the uellow or less you will get a fine. In order to get a good parking spaxe for off campus people they would have to get there at least 45 minutes before class.

Academics: I chose to come to Allen University because they offer the social science program. The registration takes a lil bit of time but not to long. Allen is not big which gives you the advantage to get to know your professor and work with he or she one on one. Also this helps with the studying because it can times where we can all study as a class, because of the class size.

Academics: To be in the social science field at Allen take lots of hard work. We have a bit load of work, but our professor are there to help us along the way. We sometimes have meetings with outsiders that's working within our field, they talk to us about internships, and what all it take to be sucessful in the social science field.

3 College Sophomore

Academics: I'm very satisfied with the teachers, and staff. The teachers take their time to teach you.

2 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: We are basically in the downtown area. There are a lot of homeless people that live not too far from the school

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: Every school has its ups and downs. This school isnt a big school, so the classroom ratio is about 20:1. Which is awesome because all of my teachers know my name.

3 College Freshman

Nightlife: there is really never really anything to do at my school

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: the dorms are alright there is just some problems with the room

4 College Senior

Campus Dining: The food is 100% meaning that all the choices are healthy and contribute to strong minds and bodies. The policies ,however, stink to high heaven. How do you deny a diner who may be a dollar short on his/her meal entrance to cafeteria only because he/she wants to ask a fellow student for the balance to get a chance to eat. Their is no "Christian Ethic" in volved here. If a person had no money, I feel that he/she should be able to eat. That is part of the Christian Culture, however, policy gets in the way and some goes away hungry. Just look at all the food that is being thrown away each night that someone could have eaten.

Academics: The professors at Allen are of a broad spectrum of cultures , races, and Religious denominations. Just because Allen is an A.M.E. school, you could never tell just by attending this institution of higher education. And when I say higher education, I mean just that...Its goals are centered around creating the ideal character of a fully self-actualized individual. Although many of us will never reach "The Total Self-actualized" individual, as dictated by Abraham Maslow's model in Psychology, but we will ALL benefit in one way or another by having attended AIIen University.

There are any number of study options presented to the students from individual attention to mass Study Halls offered by the fraternal organizations on campus. Also Allen's library has any number of leaflets and pamphlets to help a student in his/her research endeavors. These options are available outside the classroom and Instructors encourage the student population to use them. The Joseph S. Flipper is the one place on campus that you will always find buzzing with activity from the future movers and shapers of the community that Allen University is apart of as well as the future policy makers and theologians and educators of this country.

5 College Senior

Drug Safety: I believe that Allen University, being an A.M.E. school, fosters the utmost in moral character, spiritual character, and physical and mental wellness. After all, it is a school that teaches the mind to think , the heart to love, and the hands to work.

4 College Senior

Academics: I can only speak for my department which is diverse in its character, subject matter, mannerisms, personality, and thought processes.

4 College Freshman

3 College Freshman

Diversity: they acceptance you no matter what you gpa are.... They work with you to get to the top.... But some staff wont help no matterwhat.

3 College Senior

Campus Housing: Life on Campus – Living on campus is fun for the accessibility of different places and activities you can join in on. Older dorms should be remodeled but 2 new dorms were recently built and in great condition. Social atmosphere is great. Tuition is not as expensive.
