Academic Experience: All of my professors are excellent. They work with you on a daily basis and provides all the tools necessary for students to succeed. You can email them at anytime or stop pass their office during appropriate hours. They care deeply for their students.

Academic Flexibility: I transferred to this college from Garrett College. My transition went as smooth as butter.

Campus Resources: The campus has an indoor swimming pool that can be a lot of fun in the winter. It has a nice and quiet study room in the Allied Health building. However, the school is a little outdated.

Campus Resources: The computer labs are a little dated. There aren't very many computers in the lab either. Thankfully, I have a laptop and the wireless service was exceptional.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The earlier you turn in your fafsa, the more money you will receive. I have been well accommodated every time I've went to the financial aid office. Tuition is very competitive with other colleges.

Campus Resources: The college is nice and the class sizes are small. It also has a swimming pool on site to keep the students active.

Campus Resources: ACM has a large library with several small study rooms on the side for group studies. It has a pool and a gym that is open to the students that will let them get healthy and work off any frustration. Very easy to find the classes in the different buildings. Also has a nice track and fields for sports.

Campus Resources: I really like this school, community college or not. It really is a nice school. The library is a very nice size, with the proper resources a libraru should have. I'm not a sports-type of person, but there is aq really nice gym & field/track that is a mile long, and nice to walk around. Overall, I love the atmosphere of the campus; it's very laid back and down to earth, but, yet, it has the proper faculty who know what they're doing. I've learned a lot from the classes that I did take before there.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I haven't received my award letter yet. I have filed everything, and turned everything that needed signed, so now I'm just waiting to hear back from them. The process was fairly easy and didn't take long to do, but I do wish it didn't so long to hear back from the Financial Aid Office. I understand there are a lot of students they have to get through, though, so it's understandable that it takes some time. I really hope to hear from them soon, so that I know whether or not my tuition is going to be covered because there's no way I can pay almost $2,000 on just my tuition (books not included) with the amount of money I get every month, especially being a single parent. I have no extra money left over every month, so I am really relying on this financial aid.

Academic Flexibility: The first time I went to this college, it was fine. I liked my classes (for the most part). The only thing that was a hassle was the fact that all of my classes were spread out throughout the day, with several hours in between classes, and I didn't have a car at the time, so it was hard trying to get to one class, go home, come back a couple hours later for another class, go home again, come back again, and then leave for the night. I wasn't a mother the first time I went to college, so I feel that the second time around I will do much better. I will stick it out this time because I want to better myself for my daughter. I want to make sure our furture is bright, and I can't do that working a minimum wage job. Anyway, I'm comfortable with my schedule this time around.

Campus Resources: There are numerous computer labs offered at the school. The library was opened until 9-10pm on most nights, which was very convenient and easy to match anyone's schedule. Printing is also free.

Academic Experience: My major was a very unique major, and not many other students were in the same program. It was hard to meet individuals going to school for the same thing. I was placed in classes with a lot of nursing majors. Since there were so many nursing majors, the classes that I had were more geared for nursing then they were for any other major, which did not help me in my field.

Academic Flexibility: The school was very convenient for me, as I lived only a short drive away. The school offers numerous computer labs and study areas, as well as a fitness center, basketball courts, and swimming pool. It helped me get a lot done in my day.

Academic Experience: Allegany College of Maryland is an amazing school for what you pay to go there. The classrooms are small, and very hands-on. The professors all know you by name and actually communicate with you on a personal level.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: Classes are separate so give you time to take a break and only the classes you need

5 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I'm a pharmacy tech major and my classes for this major matches up to every thing to what I will have to do after I finish my program.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: Most of the teachers are very good and then there are some that may need to be at higher schools

3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: It has given me the ability to find a career that is suitable for me and to meet new people but a lot of the staff are bitter or unfriendly.

2 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The amount of funds that you are eligible for doesn't always cover what is needed and they make it so hard to get Finical Aid. There needs to be more opportunities and resources available for people that have no job or on their own to go to school.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: More staff would be nice to help out instead of only having that limited resource of one or two people. You can't take your time with what you need and sometimes you don't learn anything.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: It is behind in modern technology. The equipment that the students are learning on is not the same in the real world. It won't match up with the technology and equipment that will be used in you career. It doesn't give you an advantage it gives more of a disadvantage.

4 College Senior

Online Courses: I like the online courses. The teacher or professor helps you more I think than in the class. The course is laid out specifically to your class. You can also work ahead on different assignments allowing those who are fast learners can keep going finish on your time.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: The computers need to be updated. Wireless internet is hard to connect to. Printers are very slow and you can only print so many pages. There are computer labs but usually not much help there to help a student.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: I hate taking notes and then memorizing them....in one class that's all we do ...I do not learn well this way
