4 College Senior

Academic Experience: There are several programs that my school provides, but it all comes down to each student if they choose to participate in programs that are provided.

4 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: Sometimes I feel I could have started my first year by talking to an counselor and provide me with all the classes I needed to transfer.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: So far, I am liking the experienced that I have experienced in my school because all staff are very supportive.

4 College Senior

Student Body: The student body here mostly pulls from the local community, but all-in-all it's a diverse campus.

4 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The college is rather affordable to be honest. It is $48 per unit I believe, and they offer financial aid opportunities.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: The workload all depends on the student. There are some who take one class a semester due to busy lives, and there are people like me who take the maximum units allowed.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: We have a good variety of teachers and curriculum on campus. Some of our teachers may not be all that good, but there are a few that are fantastic and have been compared to either equal or better than their university counterparts.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: I didn't want to spend the money to go straight into a university, and this school was a good stepping stone.

3 College Senior

Career Services: We really don't have any here since it's a community college. However, we do have some certificate programs that may offer some.

4 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: They offer enough classes so that there is some flexibility, but every now and then I hit a snag and my schedule gets all messed up.

4 College Senior

Facilities: The college is currently in the process of creating numerous new facilities. These new facilities were sorely needed and are genuinely a great aid.

4 College Senior

Online Courses: So far, they've been a tremendous help.

5 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: Lots of classes available, but if you are applying for a popular GE class do it early, fills up quick and it might not fit your schedule any more.

3 Recent Alumnus

Student Body: its a community college, everyone is trying to get done so they can get out to another school. Everyone is very excepting.

Online Courses: Professors i've had were excellent. Communication through school email was simple and reliable. workload is pretty manageable. gotta love open book test, every time.

Overall Experience: A 3.0 gives me guaranteed transfer to many schools in California, thats nice... real nice. I would go again, but try to get more guidance, could'a been done ealier.

Facilities: nothing crazy, but AHC has what is needed. social scene isn't too necessary.

5 Recent Alumnus

Academic Experience: strait forward excellent. As far as community colleges go, AHC is excellent. Many internship ops, facilities get the job done, most of the programs here lead to transfer and degrees.

4 Recent Alumnus

Academic Experience: Very good faculty, curriculum is strait forward and class registration is done online with a efficient site.

3 Recent Alumnus

Career Services: The career center is nice, helps students build resumes and find career and temp job oportunities. Good for hooking up internships. Alumni network is never very good for Community colleges

3 Recent Alumnus

Campus Resources: The gym is nothing crazy, neither is the cafeteria, and the campus activities. But overall thats not why i'm there. There to get my GEs done and get my transfer on.

4 Recent Alumnus

Campus Resources: Writing center is excellent. wireless access everywhere on campus.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Many options availiable, community college in CA is what you make of it. And AHC is a very good CC, best one on the central coast.
