4 College Junior

Academic Experience: The teachers are intelligent and well-educated.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: The Fire Tech program here is one of the best in the country. I am not sure if I particularly enjoy the many online classes but the teachers have a lot of experience in what they are teaching which is great.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: Again, I do not like the inconstancy of help. If I need a specific answer or specific help in a certain area then I don't enjoy getting different answers from different counselors. There is a lot of confusion.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: The Wi-Fi oftentimes is slow and unaccesible in many parts of campus but the blackboard site is great.

3 College Junior

Facilities: The library has a very calm and helpful atmosphere. The teachers in general are helpful although there are the occasional instances that they have extremely different expectations which in turn results in a lot of confusion and chaos in the beginning of the semester. The Fire Tech and Law Enforcement Academies are very impressive.

3 College Junior

Career Services: What I dislike is I receive different answers from different counselors. I would like some consistency since this is in fact my college career.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: The grade viewing system is good and accessibility to my teachers is also good.

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: I loved my experience at Allan Hancock and although I am transferring in summer I will be sad to go. I learned a lot, not just educationally, but also had a lot of personal growth.

4 College Senior

Career Services: AHC has several partnerships with local universities to facilitate ease of transfer.

5 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Financial aid and the BoG (Board of Governors) waiver is available to resident students. The only thing I had to pay for was textbooks and parking.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: AHC has one of the most accessible learning assistant programs that I've seen.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: While there are courses related to my field of study there is more focus on general education classes and certification classes as it's a community college.

4 College Senior

Student Body: There is a huge diversity of students. Campus is a melting pot with different subcultures not only existing near each other but together cohesively.

4 College Senior

Facilities: There are always different things to see at AHC. Last semester we had monks in the gallery making Tibetan sand prayers.

3 College Senior

Online Courses: Online courses and I don't work together well so I am biased on this topic.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: There are many resources available to students for many needs.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: While wireless internet is available it is not always reliable in some of the buildings around the edges of campus.

4 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: Allan Hancock College accessibility for learning disabled students is commendable. I found out I had ADHD last year and they have been completely accommodating.

4 College Senior

Online Courses: So far, I have been helped by my professors who have always assisted me when I needed helped.

4 College Senior

Facilities: Any students who are interested in participating in any programs, they are always welcome.

4 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: To be honest if there have not been FAFSA, I would not be able to continue with my General Education and transfer to a four-year university.

4 College Senior

Career Services: There is a center that is open to all students who may be searching for a job, and are assisted if they need help to prepared them for an interview.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: I believe there is several centers to provide assistance for students in my school.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: There is several labs where students can used there computer for their personal used, or research.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: I believe since my school is an Community College it has less opportunities for internships, but overall I am satisfied with my classes that I have completed for my major. I will be transferring in fall of 2014.
