5 College Junior

Academic Experience: this is the first school I have attended but the registration process seem to go well. I got the classes I needed for my first semester. I just enrolled in my second semester and I was also able to get the courses I need easily.

5 College Junior

Facilities: Everything is easy to find and get to.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: My instructors have been very helpful and encouraging. Even though some of the courses are challenging if I have questions my instructors take the time to go through the information with me.

Student Body: My school consists mostly of Machinists, Law Enforcement Agents, and Nursing programs. The other building has interior and graphic design but is rarely seen on campus. There is a wide variety but most interaction is taken place in class, and in the hallways and game rooms that the college has. Every person I have met (for the most part) have been friendly, helpful, and willing to help.

Academic Flexibility: The reason I give this an A+ is there is a great variety and flexibility with school classes. If needed you can complete all your courses online for a general AA Degree

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition rates here are of good value compared to other schools. The education is also of great value. I have had a great time so far completing the courses I need, and with the aid from financial aid I can finally complete the courses that I have set out for. This school is best known for its Nursing, Machine, and Law Enforcement Programs.

Academic Flexibility: For me A- is easy to get i could get A's if i put more work and effort into school. I usually put effort into homework essays and projects. Study for tests.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I applied for my FAFSA one day and got a confirmation email from the college the next day. They were able to get back to me with my estimated financial award within a week. Anytime I have questions they get me the answer within a day. They have also helped me apply for aid in which I wasn't aware was available.

Academic Flexibility: I have 8 or so courses to take and my counselor was able to tell me when what courses were offered so we could make a game plan to get them out of the way in quick order. If my college didn't offer the course with the current semester I have two other campuses to choose from.

Campus Resources: Alexandria Technical & Community College does a very good job of keeping the students busy with out of class activities. They also have great library and computer facilities that have great availability.

Academic Experience: The professors have been great about any internet connection problems and not being able to submit work due to them. Also, they are flexible when it comes to any life emergency that may occur. The smaller setting of the school has made it possible for the professors to be more one on one with the students, which has been very helpful to me. One complaint that i do have would be issues with schedule changes. Sometimes the professors will change their class times, in turn the students schedules get messed up and have to be redone.

Student Body: Alexandria Technical & Community College is a smaller school. They have a diverse group of ethnicity, but at the same time other colleges definitely have more. Almost everyone there knows someone from school or sports because it's mainly a college where people travel from only an hour out. I'm originally from Pennsylvania and moved here for college. Everyone has been very accepting of me and has treated me with kindness.

Academic Flexibility: I have had a very good experience with Alexandria Technical & Community College. They have been flexible with schedule changes and any hassles we have had with internet connection problems at the school. Transferring my high school credits was a very easy and simple process. Although they were very good about internet problems, inability to connect, and the homework website for each class not working has been very frustrating in the past. I'll be getting married July 20, 2013. My fiance is attending Concordia College in Moorhead and I've had heard very good things about Rasmussen. Rasmussen will be very convenient and fits perfect with my course of study.

Academic Experience: I like that the instructors have smaller class sizes, allowing more one on one interactions, creating great personal relationships that put the students at ease and builds confidence, and feedback is a plus here. These instructors have come from backgrounds with years of first-hand experience in the field and are very knowledgeable in their subjects. I wish that the instructors could communicate at a better level, but this lack of communication is only because of our automated grading, testing and homework computer program that some instructors use more than others. Class registeration is very easy and mostly automated.

Student Body: For the most part, I really like everyone at school and am so glad to have met new people. It was an adujustment at first going to school with people who have kids, but everyone is there to learn for their careers so we all get along.

5 College Junior

Online Courses: I love the online courses, they are set for you to get them done on your own time, teachers give you a list of things to get done and a time period to do it, you can work on things for how ever long you want and when ever you want as long as they are done by that period. The only downfall is you need to be dedicated to getting it done and not put it off or forget about it

Academic Flexibility: class schedules are very easy to work around your personal schedule and most classes go with ease. All credits are transferable to any other minnesota state institions. The only downfall I don't like is how some teachers do their homework assignments, you may have to go in on your own time to get things graded.

Academic Experience: The Work load is heavy but necessary
The Tutors are flexible and easy to work with

5 College Student

Student Body: Strong and Motivated.
Our Skill USA team Works Hard.
Determined.
Aloud to take their time.

Academic Flexibility: I was able to start college right out of high school. The location is great for post secondary students. In the AA degree i am able to explore classes form all different types of programs just to get a taste of them and see if i enjoy them. The classes on campus make it easy to maintain a job and other activites.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: The college library & campus acitvities are always great.

4 College Senior

Student Body: The standards are high, but the instructors are very helpful & truly care about their students success.

4 College Junior

Online Courses: I really like the online courses because I don't have to be "in class" at a set time. I can get up late in the afternoon and be online doing my coursework in my jammies. The only real problem I have with it is that the professor also teaches classes on campus so she rarely answers e-mails regarding the work or to answer questions. It's a challenge, but it really makes you learn how to manage your time better

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I chose Alex Tech because are close to home, so to speak, and they have some of the best 2 year AA programs. The acceptance process was easier than I expected. The adviser for the program that I chose spoke to me to make sure it was what I wanted.

3 College Junior

Career Services: I am not sure, I never really delt with them. I don't know.
