Diversity: The school is very diverse in ways were they have brought many different types of people to the campus. We have people from Bahrain, Spain, Alaska, New jersey, and basically the entire USA. We have challenges because some of the teachers speak a different language and it is hard to understand them sometimes.

Computers: The wireless connection is very bad but that's because the school is not used to this many people on campus at one time. The printing on campus is reasonable they give us so many pages that we can print before it costs money The need for a personal computer and printer is up to you. I think it is convenient to have your own computer just in case you need it for a class. We have multiple computer labs spread out throughout the campus.

Campus Housing: The dorms I live it are like perfect distance away from everything. It does not take that long to get to any of the buildings. The people in the dorms are really nice and I have made some really close friends in my dorm. The cost was very convenient and affordable. The RAs helped make the transition easier and they are very helpful when any of us need help.

Local Atmosphere: Small town living; safe but not a lot of exciting things to do. Friendly people who take pride in the university. Beautiful parks nearby. Traveling about 30 min will bring you to movie theaters, shopping and more assortment of restaurants.{

Campus Strictness: I have not had any problems with the rules on campus. Clearly stated when you enter as a student. But all policies are consistent.

3 College Freshman

Weather: Typical mountainous weather in WV. Cold winters with snow, nice weather in the other seasons.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Small dorm rooms mostly; suite living is most common with up to 8 per suite. Several new dorms this year but still have 3 older dorms with a lot of needed maintenance. All dorms do have new furnishings however.

Off-Campus Dining: Only a few restaurants locally but food is good in the local pubs, restaurants. Few fast food restaurants in the small town. Traveling about 30 minutes brings you to many other offerings however.
