Local Atmosphere: Alcorn is located in a rural area. Although the scenery is nice there are not many options to choose from when it comes to shopping or a nightlife without traveling at least 50 miles to another city.

1 College Senior

Local Atmosphere: there is nothing surrounding the school. nothing but trees and wild animals

2 College Senior

Local Atmosphere: everything is remote, there is nothing close off campus to do unless you find something in the next city over. there are no attractions, fun, sports,

Local Atmosphere: their is really nothing to do here

Local Atmosphere: There are two different campuses for my school. I have had the opportunity to live at both. The main campus is really remote. The nearest town is 15 minutes away, and there is only one small town grocery store, about 3 dollar stores (dollar general, freds, and family dollar), two main eateries (sonic and chinese restaurant) there is also a chicken place inside a gas station. about 30 minutes away from the main campus is the Nursing campus which is located in a bigger city. In this city there are thousands of ood options (mcdonalds, burger king, pizza hut, dominos, wendy's, kfc, taco bell, chinese restaurants, casinos, hole in the walls, coffee shops, downtown restaurants, seafood, etc.). The is also a WALMART here along with other shopping centers. the mall doesn't offer many choices. But an hour and a half away are larger cities who offer more.
