Diversity: everyone is accepting of people from different backgrounds. they actually take an interest in them in some situations and want to know more about how they found out about the school. it is a diverse background in every aspect.

Diversity: The diversity at Alcorn State is very much emphasized. I personally am a part of the Diversity Champions group so I come in contact with many diverse people. However; it is very easy for diversity to be hidden under all of the homogenous people. I do not know much about the political beliefs of people, politics are not discussed much unfortunately. There are not many people on campus who do not have Christian beliefs, but there are multiple denominations of Christianity, and there is a chapel on campus where I volunteer every Sunday. There are people of different sexual orientations and for the most part they float along in the crowd unscathed.

Diversity: The diversity at Alcorn is wonderful. The Center for Diversity and Inclusion often holds programs that brings together many of the foreign students, teachers, and faculty. In these programs we have many discussions about making positive changes in our lives and becoming the best individual we can be.
