Facilities: All flash, no content. Everything looks nice, but it is an unnecessary use of the colleges money. Funds should be to ensure the staff is the best it can be, however it is not. This school may be for you if you are considering a science major, they have some advanced equipment, but only in the science department. This school is awful for anyone getting into Environmental Studies or anything to do with Humanities/ Outreach.

Campus Dining: There are not a lot of options for dining, and the food is below par almost every single day.

2 College Senior

Diversity: There are a lot of international students, but most people are white.

4 College Junior

Nightlife: I always have fun, the frats get really busy and loud.

Scholarships: The amount of financial was more than other schools of similar standing, but it would have been nice to get more money.

3 College Senior

Nightlife: The only real places to go for nightlife are the fraternities. Albion is a small town with very few bars and no nightclubs.

3 College Senior

Weather: Typical Michigan weather, unpredictable and winters are long.

Campus Strictness: You'll get in trouble if you are underage and have visible alcohol in your room. Campus Safety also claims to have a no blame policy if you call them for a ride and you are drunk and underage. Usually you will get in trouble.

Local Atmosphere: From the look of the city, I may not know where to go, where to start, or if there is anywhere to go, but from lectures and events here on the campus, there are tons in the community to do and go. There is Gina's pizza where the salad is excelent, Harrington Elementary School to volunteer as a mentor, the many churches in the area, and so on. I enjoy helping the community.

Weather: This is Michigan and the weather tends to confuse us. However, most activites around the campus are usually held inside, so there really isn't any fuss.

Facilities: Everything that you can possible think of that is available to students is here at Albion. The exercise rooms that are small enough for public interactions, the pool area, the small classes that helped greatly in the one on one time with professors, the many study spots like the library, residential building lounges, and so much more.

Facilities: A unique quality that my school seems have that puts it apart from other schools is the Liberal Arts education. We take classes covering the study of different fields, which puts the students a step ahead in the working world.

Off-Campus Housing: I personally am not interested in living off campus, but for my friends who are interested in doing so are usually complaining about the lack of support and choice, and the school only allowing them to either live at home or in apartments only a few blocks away from the campus and nowhere else.

Greek Life: Over half of campus is greek. It is different than most greek systems. They focus a lot on their philanthropies and have fun while doing it. Women aren't allowed to live in sorority houses.

Campus Housing: The dorms are a place to meet other students and participate in social and academic activities. They do have a high cost, but it's worth it because of how close you get with other people. There are both suite and community layouts offered.

Computers: The computers are up to date and have the latest software. Printing from these computers is hassle-free. Wireless internet sometimes crashes but boots up shortly after.

Guys & Girls: Most of the guys are in D3 athletics and are housed in a frat. Most of them are friendly and outgoing. Some girls are in sororities and most are genuinely friendly.

Majors: The most important for your admission is your GPA and your ACT score. You can choose whatever major you want but you must keep up with the requirements diligently. Some majors have applications, but that is just so faculty knows who is in what major. Most applicants get in. Study hard!

Facilities: We have a phenomenal science building and art program. People at Albion are very liberal and outgoing and the atmosphere of the college reflects that. The college is small but fully equipped!

Facilities: Campus life at Albion is always exciting. The Dow is a great place to work out and complete sports practices. The Kellogg Center is always swarming with people getting mail, studying, and participating in events. The library is chalk full of students studying for tests and exams. Clubs are always posting about their events and everyone is always smiling!

Off-Campus Housing: Albion College students are expected to live on campus. You cannot live off campus.

1 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: One restaurant that we can go to but you have to drive to it. There is a subway in town but you have to drive to that as well. Its best just to stay on campus and go to the shops that are open.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: I love the academic portion of albion. The classes are nice and small and the professors know your name. It is challenging but there is alway help offered when you need it.

3 College Sophomore

Nightlife: there is no town around albion, the town is dead. the only night life is at the frats or any you create

1 College Sophomore

Parking: The freshmen parking lot is way to small at the dorms.

Overall ExperienceWhat's This?

Overall, Albion College is great for a number of reasons. The small campus makes it easy to make friends immediately and meet new people. While living in Albion can be boring at times, making the most of it is sometimes what will leave you with the most memories. There is a sense of community on Albion's campus that is hard to duplicate anywhere else. This isn't to say that everyone gets along, but there is a certain bond between all Albion students.

Albion's liberal arts education is something that also seems to be unique to the College. The professors are approachable, and their excitement for their courses is infectious. Even when you're taking a class that is not related to your major, you appreciate what you learn and are proud of what you've learned in looking back. Beneath the exterior sometimes, Albion is just a down-home friendly kind of place, and a lot of students seek comfort in that and learn to love where they are.
