4 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: Theres not a lot to do but everyone is really friendly which makes it easier to have doing pretty much anything.

Local Atmosphere: This school is awesome! It's a small school and the atmosphere is great. Everyone knows eachother (faculty also). The student-faculty ratio is 13:1. The professor's here are also great. They care whether or not you're doing you're work. Not like huge Universities, Albertus is a great place to learn. We also have a great environment where we can play games and possibly win some extra cash. Some nights we have Bingo Nite, Trivia Nite, or even Game Nite(where you have the chance to play the Wii, XBOX 360, or PS3. You should definately come to check the school out.

Local Atmosphere: Active and Safe – New Haven offers a wide selection of cultural activities, museums, resturants, and shopping if you make the effort to get out and discover it. Public transportation is actively available. The neighborhood directly surrounding the school is generally quiet and safe with the exception of a few areas.

Local Atmosphere: Albertus is in the center of like 2 different locals, Hamden (town) and New Haven (city). If you want to go for a walk, you can go downtown, explore all of the different museums and cuisine etc. If you just drive like 5 mins in the opposite direction there's the grocery store, walmart, the party store, tj maxx, and all the chain restaurants- Chili's, Ihop, McDonalds, etc. The campus itself is safe for the most part, and most of the time you will be safe traveling on foot, but it is always safer with a buddy, especially girls.

Now Albertus is in New Haven which has one of the largest ratios of night clubs, so if you are looking for a night out, you can certianly find somewhere to go. New Haven is a New England city, so most of the people are nice, but there are always a few nasties. I think it is a great country locale right beside the big city, and who could ask for more?

3 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: New Haven is a city, but it's a city in CT. There are things to do downtown, but transportation from Albertus isn't always reliable. Albertus is also located about a 30 minute walk from downtown, too. There isn't much to do on campus, either.
