Computers: Many Areas – There are computer labs located in the 2 academic buildings, the campus center and the library, but none of these facilities are 24-hours. The library and cyber cafe in the campus center are open late, but in the academic buildings, the main labs close by 4 or 5 pm. You can, however, go into an empty class room and use one of the professor computers. Printing is free on campus and network reliability is moderate-good. You don't need a printer unless you need color printing, my printer was a waste for the most part, but the scanning option is useful on mine. B&W printing is free all over, but they do occasionally break, so print out your paper as soon as you are done; don't wait until right before class.

Health & Safety: Overall Pretty Safe – There is very little if any reason to feel unsafe within the campus walls; its very open so you can see if anyone else is near you. The school gives out personal alarm locators which you can press if you feel unsafe, but the problem is you have to have it in your hand. The campus is only one block, so if you do need to call security, they will be there within like 10 mins. If you go off campus, travel in numbers because the school borders the not-so-good part of New Haven.

Academics: The variety of classes offered is expanding; my friend asked about a subject and the next semester a brand new course was offered for that subject, it was the first time in the 85 years of the school that subject had ever been covered. They are creating more interesting classes and professors are almost always willing to look into what students are interested in learning. For most classes, the work load is totally not bad.

Majors: Communications Program – I love it, the classes are great and the current dept head, Ron is always looking out for his students. The classes are straight forward, no bull, and they are not demanding or taxing.

Academics: Great Communications Program – The programs are not hard to accomplish, all you have to do is go to class and do the work (which is straightforward and easy-ish). The Faculty is great to work with, they are always looking to help those who need it and are trying. There is a math tutoring program and writing center, both of which are free for students, that make a great resource and job opportunity. The work load is not hard, so a social life and great sleep is possible with a great GPA. I was able to have 2 internships and i am so grateful for the opportunities.

Local Atmosphere: Albertus is in the center of like 2 different locals, Hamden (town) and New Haven (city). If you want to go for a walk, you can go downtown, explore all of the different museums and cuisine etc. If you just drive like 5 mins in the opposite direction there's the grocery store, walmart, the party store, tj maxx, and all the chain restaurants- Chili's, Ihop, McDonalds, etc. The campus itself is safe for the most part, and most of the time you will be safe traveling on foot, but it is always safer with a buddy, especially girls.

Now Albertus is in New Haven which has one of the largest ratios of night clubs, so if you are looking for a night out, you can certianly find somewhere to go. New Haven is a New England city, so most of the people are nice, but there are always a few nasties. I think it is a great country locale right beside the big city, and who could ask for more?

Nightlife: The nightlife at Albertus is very good. There is a lot to do. There are many clubs and bars in the downtown area right near Alertus. There are clubs for under 21 and 21 and up. Even though the clubs are near by, transportation is a good idea.

Guys & Girls: Students at Albertus – I feel that the students at Albertus are all very unique. Most people are pretty friendly and because the campus is so small, you can get to know everyone pretty quickly.

Academics: I feel that the professors at Albertus are very nice. They are friendly and easy to talk to. They have taught me a lot and I feel like I can go to them about any problem or concern I have.

Drug Safety: Not many people do drugs, but a good size does. Of those, most people smoke marijuana or drink. Smoking marijuana doesn't seem to be enforced as much as it should be.

Local Atmosphere: New Haven is a city, but it's a city in CT. There are things to do downtown, but transportation from Albertus isn't always reliable. Albertus is also located about a 30 minute walk from downtown, too. There isn't much to do on campus, either.

4 College Freshman

Diversity: Accepting Community – Everyone is very friendly and welcoming to students from different countries, backgrounds, and religions. There are various ethnic backgrounds. Unfortunately, there aren't that many different religions on campus.

4 Recent Alumnus

Athletics: Prior my freshman year – so far I went up to CT because I'm a Jersey noy amd want to pursue my Volleyball career in the NCAA. AMC was my last minute choice and so far I think I"m making the right decision. AMC jus stated the Men's Volleyball Team in the NCAA Div III. The campus tour was pretty nice but I didn't get a full one yet.

I'm looking forward to this.

Athletics: Team Performance – Lately we have been doing alot better in the sports area. our basket ball team made it to the final for the first time ever.

Campus Dining: Over All Experience – the dining hall is very small and very clean. the variety is poor and so is the value
