4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I like how everyone know each other. The study body is one big family, and I had have many great experiences with my teammates and fellow students.

4 College Freshman

Facilities: Compare to my old school, the classes are really small so all the professors know your name and most of them are easy going. Also, there isn't much homework, and most teaches will give you slack if you come to class a couple minutes late.

5 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: Its located a couple minutes from downtown New Haven where you have Toads place, bars, and restaurants. Also, there are many colleges in the area like Southern, and even Uconn is only about an hour away.

3 College Freshman

Transportation: I have a car on campus, which I recommend, because its hard to get off campus without one because the campus isn't located downtown New Haven and their is nothing close to campus besides houses. We do have a Yale shuttle, but i haven't seen anyone actually use it, I see most kids use a taxi, when they can't find a ride.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: I transfered here in the spring, and I haven't seen any crime or violence besides drunk kids destroying a bathroom in a dorm

5 College Senior

Academics: In my specific major is so rewarding. It is revealing to me the tools that I need to be able to be of service to those individuals who are hurting and suffering from a mental illness. The workload is not overwhelming and the faculty members are very well educated to provide the tools needed to become an excellent therapist. Each classroom is clean, spacious and provides the equipment needed to execute a lecture. In the Fall I will begin my internship and I am so looking forward to it.

Health & Safety: There have not been any issues that I am aware. I received my Bachelor's degree from Albertus Magnus and am now going on to receive my Master's. And I not had any issues with security or crime. There are security officers walking the campus and there is one always circling the parking lot. If you feel uncomfortable walking to your car they will escort you.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: I love this school. I would not want to go anywhere else. I have made a ton of friends and memories there. I cannot imagine myself being happy at a different college or university.

Drug Safety: The school protects our privacy rights. If they do not have a reason to go in your room, then they won't. If you look suspicious and there are rumors about you going around on campus, they will keep an eye on you. We have cameras in the hallway, so if they see anything that violates the residential life rules, there will be disciplinary action.

4 College Junior

Academics: Everything depends on the type of professor you have. Each professor works differently. Some might give you more work than others.

5 College Junior

Facilities: The campus has many "green" areas to go outside and play games with friends. At least once a year the student government has a man hunt competition. Our campus is the perfect size for it. There are many events held at the student center. There is always a good turn out. The Student/Campus Center has much to offer: a computer lounge with free printing, pool tables, snack bar, ping pong table, video games, a bar and much more.

Nightlife: Since the school's location is very close to downtown New Haven, there are many night clubs and bars you can go too.

Majors: My major is art management. I am able to decide what my major is. We do not have separate admission processes for different programs.

5 College Junior

Majors: I love being a part of art management. The professors are extremely nice. They have opened up my mind to new ideas and have helped me expand my own.

3 College Junior

Athletics: For having such a small campus, we make due with what we have. We do not need a huge athletic center. We simply do not have the need for one. I enjoy our athletic center very much. Especially the olympic sized swimming pool.

5 College Junior

Campus Housing: The school offers four mansions to dorm in and one typical styled dorm building. Since the campus is very small, if you live on campus, you will know everyone else that lives there too. It is a little pricy to live on campus, but you deffinitely pay for a good experience.

5 College Junior

Parking: There are always spots available. Parking is completely free. If you live on campus, there really is no need to have a car. You can get to any building in less than 10 minutes.

3 College Junior

Campus Strictness: There are times when it can be strict and not so much other instances. For example, if it is going to snow, students are not allowed to be parked in certain parking lots. We receive emails and newsletters are posted everywhere. If you park there, your car will get towed. That is the only time they are strict with parking. Other than that, you can park in any parking lot at anytime.

College Junior

Greek Life: We do not have any Greek life on campus. If a student would like to join a Greek house, they are allowed to join some of Yale's.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: Things could run smoother in the office but over all, they always find ways to help me receive more money. It is a process but the end result is always good.

5 College Junior

Transportation: We are able to use the Yale Shuttle which is free. This is how most students who do not have a car on campus get around. It is very convenient. The stop is near the entrance of campus.

5 College Junior

Computers: We have six computer labs on campus. All have free printing. There is always a computer available and if not, you can rent a laptop from the school.

3 College Junior

Academics: The professors are usually people who work in the business they teach. This semester I am being taught Business Law by an actual lawyer. There is a lot to learn but I think because the teachers are part time and have a lot going on in their own lives, the homework is very light.

4 College Junior

Computers: Computer Labs are on the third floor furthest away from the dorms. There is only one tiny elevator in the building so it is difficult to climb all those stairs but no one is ever using the labs at night.

5 College Junior

Parking: Their is no cost to park as an off-campus student and there is plenty of parking for night classes. I am not sure what the day time is like.
