Local Atmosphere: Albany, Ga is a small city in South Georgia. There is a civic center that host major events here. They have a aquarium downtown in River Front Park. It also is home to Ray Charles park that was dedicated to the native of Albany. This is all within walking distance from campus. There is a Zoo here called Chehaw Park. The Albany Mall is on the west side of the city near most of the major shopping venues. There is a movie theater also located in West Albany. Some popular events include: Albany Snicker Marathon, Albany Madi Gras Festival, and Fourth Of July events. As for the Arts, we have The Albany Museum, The Albany Symphony Orchestra, The Albany Chorale, The Albany Theatre, and more. Albany State Universities Homecoming is one of the largest events held yearly. The city welcomes students and Alumni for events.

Local Atmosphere: It's like any other place

Local Atmosphere: Albany, Georgia isn't the best place to be for school. It's very remote and boring here. I don't really enjoy it. The mall doesn't have much of a variety you also need a car to get wherever you want to go.
