2 College Senior

Nightlife: Most parties were at the clubs. Most were packed and full of teens and underage drinking. The parties was not a positive impact for students. It just condoned to sex, drugs, and alcohol.

3 College Senior

Campus Housing: When I had to share a room with some one I did not like it, but once I got my own room I loved it. I sometimes didn't like sharing a bathroom with someone I didn't know. The cost for the dorms we ridiculously high and unaffordable.

3 College Senior

Academics: Some professors does not care what happens to a student. They sometimes don't care of a student pass or fail, and will not help them if needed. Being in the college of education the advisors pics our classes and time to take them this is inconvenient to the students that works or have children.

4 College Senior

Academics: My advisor picks out my schedule for the semester, it's sort of hard to work and go to school at the same time.

2 College Junior

Scholarships: they have bad attitudes and always losing something.!

2 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: outside of the campus. its mad boring. i mostly go home on the weekends. when football season is around its cool because you got some Saturday night football. but yeah albany, ga is boring.

5 College Junior

Campus Dining: LOL i love "the caf" . only thing i dont like is saturdays and sundays and fridays lol. they get mad lazy !

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: The only thing that i'd say they should improve on are the professors and administrators attitudes! they are the worst ever!

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: Most of the degrees here are relevant to the career path that each student would like to pursue. the only bad thing that i don't like is that some people do not see a degree from here as valuable. i dont know why because 2+2 here will have the same solution as 2+2 at Georgia State.

3 College Junior

Diversity: Well Albany State University is a HBCU and was built on Biblical principles. it was a Bible college when it was first created. majority of the students are Christians and Democratic.

5 College Junior

Majors: i really enjoy it because i want to be a doctor so its relevant. i say it again it has its hard times but you'll build friendships in the long run.

4 College Junior

Majors: If you love science or interested in pre-medical, pre-dentistry, pre-pharmacy, or pre-engineering, then be a science major!!!!!!!!!!! Most of my friends are science majors so i really dont know about other majors. ! majoring in a science is hard and a lot of work but worth it. ! my hardest challenge was buckling down and studying!

2 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: dude, everything closes at 10pm here.! only thing open late is waffle house and i believe applebees till 3am. this town is so small everything closes so early. it's worst on the weekends. you know its a small town when they haven't heard of a 24 hour McDonalds!!!!

4 College Junior

Athletics: EH, WE NEED A NEW WEIGHT ROOM! THATS THE ONLY BAD THING. I FEEL THAT THEY CAN UPGRADE THE EQUIPMENT!

4 College Junior

Facilities: overall, the campus is great looking. we just got a new student center 2 years or so ago. it was a major upgrade from what we had. the grass is always cut and tress are always trimmed. !

4 College Junior

Campus Housing: i love living on campus. all dorms are right on campus. albany state is not a big campus at all. basically everything is right there.

3 College Junior

Greek Life: basically, you need to know somebody to get in to a fraternity or sorority here. i've never been to a college where greeks put themselves above the rest. now don' get me wrong. not everybody in each organization is like that. just specific ones. that's just my opinion. if you are interested in pledging go in with an open mind and heart. !

2 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: As far as expenses and other things in that category, I really don't know because I've never moved off campus. In other words. I'd be lying if i say Albany is a safe place. I don't feel safe especially during homecoming weekend. I am currently a Junior now but my Freshman year that wasn't a problem. When you mix the locals and students, bad things come about. AVOID THE HIDDEN OAKS APARTMENTS. A LOT OF SHOOTINGS HAPPEN THERE!

4 College Junior

Academics: I am a Junior Biology major here at Albany State University and I would have to say that the academics is okay. Really not that hard if you aren't majoring in a science such as biology, chemistry, physics, engineering, or nursing. Now those classes are hard. If you aren't willing to put in the time or effort then don't major in any of the sciences because it's time consuming. The other irrelevant classes towards my major such as English, Math, History, Etc; they're easy as can be! Good Luck!

3 College Junior

Academics: Honestly, I feel that being a biology major at Albany State University has its pros and cons.

The Pros:

1. Enlightened about the human body and what makes life.

2. Lab days are very interesting.

3. They provide academic seminars that are steered in your career choice.

4. You are required to conduct an independent research study.

5. STEM conferences are interesting

The Cons:

1. Sometimes the work can seem a little bit "childish".

2. Compared to Georgia State University, the lab equipment is fairly outdated.

3. The professors have bad attitudes especially in the science department. !

But look on the bright side, it has more pros than cons.

4 College Sophomore

4 College Sophomore

4 College Sophomore

Academics: The good part I got through it could be stressful sometimes

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: The facilities was amazing everybody cared for their students and the university

3 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: The food is good so many choices to choose from
