Campus Resources at Northwest Vista College: Friendly, Beautiful – Love this school, the student to teacher ratio is small, so you get one on one when you need it. Everyone is friendly and the campus is beautiful.

Tuition & Financial Aid at Northwest Vista College: Knowledge is power, so the price that I pay for a education is definitely worth it. The financial aid that I do receive, is just enough to cover my classes. But there are other expenses that I have to come up with on my own, which can be difficult when your taking anywhere from 15 to 18 hours. So the only thing I would change about the school would be the deadlines to pay for classes.

Academic Experience at Northwest Vista College: My Favorite Math Teacher. My math class with Julie Garcia was my absolute favorite! She is an amazing teacher, and works very well with her students. The work is challengeing but always possible. She offers help and touturing all the time, that's one of the many qualities I love about her!

Campus Resources at Northwest Vista College: Awesome Centers – The facilities at school are extremely helpful. The school has computer labs all around campus and they have an athletic center that you can use with a membership. The school's library has books that you can use instead of buying the textbooks and the librarians are always available to help. There is a writing lab where people help edit your papers and give you creative ideas to improve your writing. There are also language labs, math labs, science labs, and even a cyber cafe where you can take your laptop to do homework. I've used almost every center available to help students and they have helped me achieve the grades that I've always wanted to have. I don't know what I would do without all the awesome resources Vista has to offer. They really make a world of difference for students.

Overall Experience at Northwest Vista College: Very Smooth Transition – My transition to Northwest Vista college from high school was very smooth. I thought college was going to be a hassle, but the first day of classes, there were booths set up all throughout the campus and people were handing out maps of the school and answering questions. It was easy to find my classes because anyone would stop when I'd ask for help and since the classes are small, the learning process was really easy. The school has many buildings, but there are paths and maps all around the school that help you go from one side of campus to the other in less than 10 minutes. There are also people on golf carts that assist in taking you to your class and help in finding your car. I honestly have nothing bad to say about my experience at Northwest Vista College.

Tuition & Financial Aid at Northwest Vista College: Always Double Check – At Northwest Vista College in San Antonio, the financial aid process is very easy. There are always people available to at the Financial Aid office and at the Student Life Center. You can also call during business hours to talk to a representative. Everyone is nice and very helpful in the financial aid process and the tuition is extremely affordable, anyone can do it! The best thing to do to ensure financial aid is to fill out the FAFSA form as soon as your tax return comes in the mail, because that's the only way to ensure not having to pay money out of pocket. As soon as the form is submitted, call the financial aid office to make sure they have received your FAFSA, and always keep up with awards, don't expect them to go through automatically, because mistakes on the form can cost you time and money. Overall, the school is very helpful in helping students with enrollment and financial aid.

Student Body at San Antonio College: The great thing about San Antonio College, is the diversity of the student body. Students come in a large array of ethnic, and religious backgrounds. What makes it better, is that people readily embrace this diversity.

Online Courses at San Antonio College: Online Struggles – The online courses were very thorough, however, they increased the workload significantly for the student without taking into consideration that certain sections of material require more time than others. They don't even add extra study material for the more difficult sections.

Campus Resources at San Antonio College: The school offers a wide array of extracurricular activities, including clubs, and student activities. The facilities are top quality and give the students access to computers, internet access, and tutoring nearly every day of the week. One of the best attributes is the modernization of the classes. they use up to date technology on the internet for turning in homework, offering study guides, and discussing classes with teachers and other students.

Student Body at San Antonio College: Student Interaction Anticipation – I know that most of the students are focused and accountable due to their age and full-time job status. I'm also changing careers and am looking forward to experiencing some new college student interaction after 27 years since taking my last college course.

Academic Experience at San Antonio College: Tedious Registration Process – Brand New Student: After sitting on phone hold and multiple transfers over 3 hours, I gave up and physically drove to the campus Administration offices. Very poor service for an online registration process. FAIL!

Overall Experience at St. Philip's College: I Love It Here! Stl. Philips college is an amazing college. I wish it wasn't a community college. The teacher are so nice and understandable. They are always willing to help you out, whether is school work or something personal. They are very easy to reach. The atmosphere is average, except when some of the male students are shouting at a pretty girl passing by. St. Philips has just been an experience that I won't forget.

Greek Life at St. Philip's College: Never Heard of a Greek Chapter at School. I am not aware of a Greek chapter located at the community college I attend.

Nightlife at St. Philip's College: The community college is located in a poor community. The college is the only building that stands out in the entire neighborhood. The houses are very mistreated and old. There aren't any clubs in this area.

Academic Experience at San Antonio College: Variety of Choices – I'm a liberal arts major and I like the variety of choices that we have for classes, even though it's just the basics. It makes choosing your classes fun and exciting.
