Campus Resources at Northwest Vista College: Reliable but Crowded – while you can almost always find an open computer in the lab, you usually have to search for a few minutes. The wireless is really slow in most places but i suppose it gets the job done. The main site is almost never down and if it is they usually have it back in within 2 hours. A computer at home helps but you don't need it if your willing to spend time after class to go to the lab.

Campus Resources at Northwest Vista College: Awesome Professors. Some of the professors here are worthy of working at a university. they really know their stuff and you can gain huge amounts of knowledge for a fraction of the university price. Take for instance my accounting Professor. He had a masters degree in both accounting and Business management and has owned and managed businesses all over the world. He taught us way more then we could have gotten out of the book.

Online Courses at San Antonio College: Fun and Easy – The online courses have been very up to date, very easy, and fun to do.

Academic Experience at San Antonio College: Never Had a Problem – The teachers were involved and always where they said they would be, and alwyas up to help you out.

Campus Resources at San Antonio College: San Antonio College has no room for parking, an outrages parking fee that exceeds even the local university, and a staff of uncaring people who do not know what their jobs are. The campus is nice though and the students and teachers are good and friendly.

Academic Flexibility at San Antonio College: I Never Get a Break. I usually work after school most days. The class flexibility allows me to be able to balance school and home life. Since I can finish school early in the afternoon I have time to study and do homework before work that night. I'm usually very busy but the school is convenient.

Tuition & Financial Aid at San Antonio College: It Pays to Get Things Done Early – I had my FAFSA filled out on time, but being a first time college student I was un aware of the Verification of enrollment form. It delayed my financial aid process 12 weeks, but I finally got my money a week ago. I only had to make one tuition payment out of pocket. Most of the financial aid advisors were helpful but the whole process was a headache.

Academic Experience at Palo Alto College: Classes Are Accessible – there are many psychology students here so there is a lot of helpful interaction. in addition the transfer plan is very easy to understand and follow.

Overall Experience at Palo Alto College: Friendly and Familiar – this school has a very friendly and convenient campus.

Parking at St. Philip's College: I don't own a car, but from the looks of it, students may have to arrive early on campus if they want to find a suitable parking space. On an average weekday, the lots look 98% full, which can cause difficulty for student drivers. On Fridays and Saturdays, however, parking lots are almost empty.

Campus Strictness at St. Philip's College: Strictness of Attendance Policy – In the past semesters at St. Philip's, there have been a couple of examples in my classes on absences. One time I did witness one of my instructors talking to one of my classmates about having 3-4 absences and risking being dropped from the class. This goes to show that the school system is serious on attendance rates and will not hesitate dropping excessively absent students from their classes. This has prompted me to stay in class and avoid being withdrawn.

Health & Safety at St. Philip's College: My Overall Rating on Campus Security. The campus police here at St. Philip's College do have a presence that is easy to acknowledge. The last time I heard of any crime happening at or around St. Philip's, or its sister campuses in the Alamo College system, wasn't since about one or two semesters ago. This might mean that security for the Alamo Colleges has improved significantly, and I am very satisfied.

Student Body at Northwest Vista College: Diverse Group of Students – I am an older student...most are fresh out of high school, from many different backgrounds, cultures, religions, etc. Most students want to do well, come prepared to class, are very accepting of me (as an older person) and treat me equally. Lots of discussions in class and feeling like you fit in.

Academic Experience at Palo Alto College: The Registration Process – Class registration has to be learned and getting used to as in any school, but it is not the best and needs improvement. Majority of the time it works in your favor, but sometimes the college decides to drop a class on the first day of class. For the people who like to research a certain professor or prefer one than another, make sure to keep up to date with your registration because once in a while they will change the professor on you. If you do not keep up with registration, you will surely have a hard time getting your degree. So your best bet is to research and keep your ears open for any news about the college.

Campus Resources at Palo Alto College: Viva Verde – At Palo Alto College, we have a program called Viva Verde. This program has the whole campus preserving energy, paper, time, and money. Paper that has been used is recycled for other purposes such as scrap paper for students to use at the math lab (and even that paper is recycled). We even made usable bikes out of old donated parts for a bicycle. With these brand-new repainted bicycles, we will donate them to students who have trouble in transportation. Vive Verde will find any possible way to improve preservation.

Academic Flexibility at Palo Alto College: Very Flexible – The school always worked with me if i had any questions.

Campus Resources at Palo Alto College: Great Dual Credit Program – I love that palo alto offers a dual credit program that i can do while in high school.

Scholarships at St. Philip's College: Staff I Dealt With Were Not Knowledgable – I had some issues recieving and being eligible for finacial aid. When asking questions about what I needed to do as a student and any helpful suggestions, the staff I dealt with were not sure and seemed to not know what to tell me except to pass me to a coundelor who would then send me right back to fa advisor. It was a lot of back and forth and the advisors asking others " uh, what do we do?"

2 College Sophomore

Parking at St. Philip's College: The few areas for students to park get filled quickly and students have to resort to parking on the street and risking getting ticketed. The earlier you get there the better chance you have of getting a decent spot but its no guarantee because everyone is thinking and doing the same!

3 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid at San Antonio College: I feel like the people who work at my financial aid office are bored of their job, they dont see happy with their jobs, but they get the work done. As a student, I just wish there was more people working there, because of the long lines that at times make me feel like not even getting in line. A smile on the employees who work there would add that warm touch that sometimes we need.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience at San Antonio College: I really like how my school feels like family, there is students from many different cultures, but over all we are once race striving for success. I really like how or college is has great teachers, and tutors with patience. All in all, I really like my college, I feel like a made the right choice by selecting it as the college that will guide me to success.

Campus Resources at Northwest Vista College: Unique Facilities – Northwest Vista's campus facilities are very comfortable. Every part of the campus makes you feel so good just like you are at your own house. It is a great place to help you with your studies.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility at Northwest Vista College: flexible schedule
bad parking
classes fill very qucikly

5 College Junior

Campus Resources at Northwest Vista College: Campus Resourses – Resources are very convenient. They have a gym, a quiet library, intermural sports, bookstore, and they have a place to eat. The campus is great. If you need something, you can get it, it is all really convenient. There shouldn't be any complaints.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources at Northwest Vista College: I like how the teachers really care, and they are willing to help. It's a good campus, smoke free, and everybody seems to get along. I like how nobody is afraid to ask for help when they need it, people are outgoing. This alamo college is great, and i wouldn't want to be at any other alamo college right now.
