Overall Experience at Northwest Vista College: Love My School – I was at another on of the ACCD campuses before transferring to Northwest Vista. I am so happy I transferred and love this campus, the people and instructors so much more! It is a positive, friendly environment. I feel successful just being there and I have not even earned my degree yet.

Academic Experience at San Antonio College: Curriculum Is Challenging – As an engineering major, I knew that my coursework was going to keep me busy. I was not expecting it to keep my attention though! I really look forward to finishing my degree and accomplishing my goals. I do not think this would be possible without work that keeps me interested.

Tuition & Financial Aid at Northwest Vista College: The Resources Are There, Use Them. The Financial Aide and Advising Departments are very well organized and informative, but you have to be willing to go to them. They can not help you unless you give them your time and attention, and do what they ask or advise you to do.

Campus Resources at Northwest Vista College: Scenic Lake Cordor – The lake located in the middle of the campus adds a refreshing atmosphere.
There are places to sit out all around it, Students like to gather out there and sit and talk, study, sing, etc.

Campus Resources at Northwest Vista College: Facilities Are Decent – The facilities on campus are all pretty nice. If you see anything that is broken or not nice to look at it is because some ignorant person that does not respect the campus and public property destroyed it. But they are quick to correct issues and make things presentable.

Campus Resources at Northwest Vista College: Occasional Network Issues – The computer network does have occasional issues. It will go down from time to time. But the administration and instructors are all aware of when there have been issues and are accommodating to our needs.

Online Courses at Palo Alto College: A lot of students who take online courses usually must be excellent time managers. Most students that I've known to take online classes say it's easy and all based on your schedule. Online classes allow much more free time for students to perform any tasks seen as more of a priority. I personally haven't taken any online classes since I like the "classroom" feel; however, I am considering online courses for the Spring 2012 semester.

Career Services at Palo Alto College: They're Everywhere! Palo Alto's career center is definitely a useful tool for its students. The walls and desks are full of cards, pamphlets, and papers full of information for jobs and careers. Not only does the staff help set up students for their future dreams, they allow their students to work on campus. In fact, most of the bookstore staff is made up of students.

Academic Flexibility at Palo Alto College: Location, Location, Location.. I live literally five minutes away from the school. The campus is highly technological and saves energy. The classes are quite interesting as well as the teachers. Palo Alto has some of the greatest teachers out of the Alamo Colleges while others focus of campus beauty. The staff cares for students and their futures as well as their well being while attending Palo Alto. I definitely recommend this community college to any graduating senior looking to easily and quickly finish his/her basics.

Overall Experience at Northwest Vista College: Happy With Avalible Help – The school has a wide variety of helpful websites and places to chose from ranging from a group setting to one on one with mentors.

Online Courses at San Antonio College: Easy to Acess – I have never had a problem using the online courses at San Antonio College!

Overall Experience at San Antonio College: Cheap Tuition, Great Teachers – San Antonio College has been great to me! Its tuition is always low and the teacher there are easy to follow along with and very helpful. I have never had a problem at SAC!

Student Body at Northwest Vista College: THe student body at NVC is nice for the most part. They are friendly and some are helpful. I have become part of the crowd you never have to be alone their is always some there to be your friend or to talk to

2 College Junior

Academic Experience at Northwest Vista College: Eye Opener – I wish the professors would explain all the items that are needed and not assume that we should know what to turn in and what to leave out. The syllabis did not explain much and several of the students missed out on points because the professor did not explain and did not put it out there

3 College Junior

Academic Experience at Northwest Vista College: Just Getting Started – I have not really had any classes in my field of study i am just getting started but am excited as some of the classes they provide

4 College Junior

Academic Experience at Northwest Vista College: Some Are Easy Some Are Impossible – The classes vary depending on who you have as a professor, most of them are very very good at their job, while there is always that one that is always the odd man out who no one understands or gets no matter how many times they ask for the professor to repeat it. Other than that classes are pretty good and fair as far as grading.

Campus Resources at Northwest Vista College: There aren't enough labs on campus, so many students and not enough labs. Especially when the semesters really start get cracking. It's extremely hard depending on the time of day to get into the labs to get any work done.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility at Northwest Vista College: Classes are easy, the professors are friendly and work with you on everything that you do. The classes aren't as hard as they seem to be so long as you pay attention and do the homework. I don't know how the transfer process is yet but so far so good.

Campus Resources at Northwest Vista College: The worst I've ever seen on a college campus, though the pond in the middle of the campus was a great idea.. It should have came after a car garage because I feel it's horrible to have students away from their cars while on campus. I know because parking at sea world (Which I will NEVER EVER do again) was the most nerve racking time ever, I couldn't even concentrate on school because I was soo scared that my car was going to get broken into.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources at Northwest Vista College: There are so many students on campus that there just aren't enough tutors to provide adequate support for everyone. When you are able to get into the labs to actually get assistance, they are great and they are very effective of helping you but when you have furthur questions it takes a few times of going over the same question in order to learn. Also when I need help with my computer classes it's extremely hard to find tutors for. I wish they provided at least one or two.

Facilities at St. Philip's College: Fun, Relaxing – The campus is kind of small but I see alot people gather around the hub and and hang out, laugh, joke around, etc.

3 College Junior

Campus Dining at St. Philip's College: The campus dining is ok. I mean the menu is the same everyday but it taste great and when you need a quick bite to eat between classes, can;t really complain.

Off-Campus Dining at St. Philip's College: My Review – I gave a C+ because there are not many off-campus restaurants at St.Philip's except for McDonalds. There is a military base near that has restaurants but can be a hassle to get on.

Academic Experience at San Antonio College: The architecture program is what I enjoy about San Antonio College. The program prepares you for the intense and competitive field of architecture. It also provides ways to connect with real-world with programs like AIAS, The Star Program, Can-struction, Student Life and other architect and student led programs. I was a member of AIAS (American Institute Of Architecture Students) and led the Go Green Recycling Initiative for the architecture department. Although other programs on campus have noticeable downfalls, the architecture program I feel has taught and prepared me for my career to come in and outside of architecture.
