Tuition & Financial Aid at Northwest Vista College: I believe that the education I am getting is WELL WORTH IT! Without a doubt, today as I am writting this, I just finished my mid term grade and my English teacher told me that "I am the best student of the entire semester!" I could not be any happier, as I am extremely dedicated into what I do and I do not accept anything poor than 4.0 on my GPA. I am very fortunate to have received Financial Aid which helped me tremendously. In general, comparing to other Universities tuition, NVC is affordable and if a person is really interested into studying anyone can do it without any excuses. Coming from a third world country "Brazil" I could not be anymore grateful for all the opportunity this country have gave to me.

Online Courses at Northwest Vista College: Online courses are great! We don't have to wait for professors to be telling us what to do; and we can manage our time better cutting short on driving and time on the road.

Online Courses at Northwest Vista College: I've never taken any online courses at Vista but I have heard that the online classes are a breeze and very fun filled. Some people have actually made me thing about taking online courses.

Career Services at Northwest Vista College: The career services helped me so much with trying to figure out my career path. I was undecided on a major as well as my career but the career services helped me figure out everything. I haven't even graduated yet but I already know for a fact what I want to have as a career. The career services is a very useful tool at Vista and I recommend that every single student who is having a hard time figuring out what they want to do, to visit the CATS center.

Tuition & Financial Aid at Northwest Vista College: The education that I am getting is worth the money. At first I felt as if the prices were way too high, but compared to an actual University, they are not high at all. It's well worth it. I'm taking six classes right now so I am definitely getting my money's worth. My professors are awesome and they all take their job seriously. They are great professors who all know what they are talking about and I can tell they enjoy their job. Financial aid is what I used to get and the process was very easy. I no longer get financial aid but I wish I did. Even though I don't, all the money processes at Vista are great. No time is wasted and the people at the offices work quickly but very precisely.

Academic Experience at San Antonio College: Teachers really seem to care for your success, and they do not cater to student who do not do the work, i like that. I am a single mom of two, full time employed and go to school I want that those who do the work get the grade and that there is no preference for student and the teachers here seem to be doing that. I have simply grown so much with my Eng 67 and Eng teachers it is amazing, Daugherty y&Pedroja they have sat down with me and have gotten to know me. They also take the time after class to help students who need help, all students// thank you

Tuition & Financial Aid at San Antonio College: It is easy to apply through the website, it always take long to actually reciave the refund and i always have to buy my books and then get my money because of the lag in the system to get my redund

Campus Resources at San Antonio College: Facilities are ok. I was only there for summer so my opinion is weak.

Campus Resources at San Antonio College: The computer network is a bit complicated at my school. There are so many students in the computer lab that it slows down the network speed. The computers are beyond limited. Not even having Microsoft Word. The printers are constantly being changed. From paying with coins to a printer cash card, now to using a printer online account. Sometimes I'm in a rush to use a printer and it's frustrating to wait for someone who doesn't know how to use the new printers.

Career Services at San Antonio College: At SAC, there are many faculty and teachers who have been students themselves at this school and stayed for the next 20 to 40 years. They are very knowledgeable in their field and can tell you for themselves how life is after college. I still have a couple years left until I graduate, but my teachers and the faculty are always there if I have any concerns about my future.

Student Body at San Antonio College: My school mostly consists of Hispanics, considering it is in the downtown area. The students their are so kind and helpful to those who are new to the campus. Although I am of a different race, no one has ever judged me or made me feel unwelcome. With the campus becoming more diverse each year, it's interesting to meet new people of different race and learn something about their culture.

Campus Resources at Northwest Vista College: There are so many computer labs opened for students all over campus. The labs all have printing and internet. wireless access is available all over campus and its very fast.

Academic Experience at Northwest Vista College: All the professors I have had so far are amazing and love teaching. They are always there to help whenever you need them. Northwest Vista offers such a wide variety of courses to fit everyone's plans. The classes are good sizes, so its easier to communicate with the teacher and other students easily. Class registration is just a simple application process. As for the work load, it is very manageable. Time management is always the key!

Student Body at San Antonio College: My school is made up of both first time college students and people trying to get back into school. The school provides everyone with great resources and gives everyone the tools they will need to make a strong foundation in their college careers.

Campus Resources at San Antonio College: Normally, the internet connection is alright--no crashes so far. The network works pretty well as long as you stick to using a school computer. Unfortunatley, the wifi is rather slow, probably because of the entire school trying to use it at the same time.

Campus Resources at San Antonio College: The library is separated into three floors where you might find almost every book imaginable. If for some reason they don't have what you are looking for, SAC has a interlibrary exchange program you can sign up for though you might have to wait a while for your book. There is a gym in the loftin along with a cyber cafe in the upper floor. On that same floor there are two table tennis stations and a fusball table. As for events, there has yet to be a week when there is not some sort of activity going on.

Campus Resources at San Antonio College: San Antonio College is proud to be diverse in its population. Almost every week there is some sort of event paying homage to a culture whether it be SAC's Coming Out Week or the yearly Hispanic Heritage Month events. There is always something fun going on, and most of the activities are gratuituous.

Tuition & Financial Aid at Palo Alto College: The financial aid process is a bit of a hassle for me every semester. Just when I think everything is ready I go back to the office and they tell me that I need to fill out more paper work. Some workers there are very helpful but then others are very rude. It all just depends on the person you get. I was able to get the financial aid I needed but after a long process.

Guys & Girls at St. Philip's College: There is diverse population at my school. I've seen guys and girls that dress preppy, very casual, gangster and cowboy. Different styles and interests, but seem to interact and get along well with eachother.

Online Courses at Northwest Vista College: Online classes is okay. Even thought you have a lot of free time in a course before another assignment is due, forgetting that an assignment is my biggest problem. An agenda or calendar will be your best friend.

Tuition & Financial Aid at San Antonio College: I'm taking 4 classes, which is full time. My tuition is a little over $1000.00 so is think that's a deal. Books are relatively cheap at the book store. I receive no financial aid but I always apply in case something changes.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources at Northwest Vista College: The student center is very helpful and has seemed to work out with the number of students and the library has never failed me I have always found what I have needed whether it be a text book or just references for school work. I have not been to many of the athletic centers but for my kines. class but from what I have seen its seems to be very addiquate. I feel very comfortable being on that campus all hours of the day, I can basically study anywhere I want, whether it be by the man-made lake or inside one of the buildings.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources at Northwest Vista College: NVC is really helpful when it comes to campus resources. The only problem is that because of the number of students, sometimes the resources are limited. As far as campus life with the unique opportunities and social scenes, i believe that deserves at least an A-. Every time I get onto campus I see everyone either participating in some kind of campus function or participating in their own.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources at Northwest Vista College: For the most part the computer system for NVC works pretty well, but on occasion blackboard will be shut down due to maintance or some other technical problem. I dont know why this happens but it has hindered me from finishing assignments in the past.

3 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility at San Antonio College: I always do what the teacher ask me to do. I turn in my homework on time.
