3 College Junior

Campus Resources at San Antonio College: There are different clubs and organizations to get involved in. It is only a community college so with that being said there is not as wide of a variety as one would find at a four year university. It is a nice campus though and easy to find your way around. There are sometimes some student events that take place with food, music, and activities for students to get involved with one another.

Campus Resources at San Antonio College: The computer process functions relatively well. As far as the online resources for completing assignments and extracting information, that all works very well. I really have not experienced problems in that aspect. The only problems were in trying to enroll in classes, receive financial aid, and other things of that nature.

Academic Flexibility at San Antonio College: I chose to attend SAC because it is very affordable and not far away from my family and friends. I felt that it would be a good experience to take my basic courses here to help transition into the setting of a four year university. Through taking courses I found what I wanted to major in and what Bachelor's Degree to pursue. I have about sixty hours completed and am ready to complete the remaining courses at Texas State and obtain my Bachelor's Degree and from that point, apply to Physical Therapy School. Going to SAC has really helped me in being able to transition into a university setting.

Student Body at Northwest Vista College: This school is very diverse yet, most people are just trying to get their associates degrees-anyone can attend Northwest Vista even strippers...My friend says she has one in her class. Theres some interesting people that come here

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience at Northwest Vista College: I am a nursing major but I am currently just taking some basic courses. The courses don't seem hard enough for college courses and I feel like some of them are a little bit too easy.

Academic Experience at San Antonio College: The professors I've taken have somewhat been involved with the students. Other times the professor just stands at the front of the class lecturing and not really interacting. The registration process is done online. A lot of students form study groups for specific classes so that way they can make new friends and help each other out if they don't understand something.

Academic Experience at San Antonio College: I'm a social work major taking my basics. College is somewhat I expected, I just wish some of the professors graded on time. There aren't very many social work program opportunities, actually some people didn't even know it had a social work program or that it was the best from all the Alamo Colleges. The course load is pretty fair, most of the staff is friendly.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience at San Antonio College: I am in the honors program at SAC, and have been able to interact with others in the program. It is meant to test each student more strategically than other the non honors classes at SAC. I enjoy working with my academic advisor because he is helping me plan where I will transfer to.

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility at San Antonio College: I like the flexibility of the school, because it lets me work and still get some time to do homework and study. Even though I had to register at the last minute I got decent class times I could work with.

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid at San Antonio College: I'm getting a decent education a here at the San Antonio College, the teachers make you feel like if it wasn't for us the students they would be here. The financial aid was a good help for me they helped me get financial aid, the y are located at the Fletcher Administration Center building in room 101. when you try to apply for financial aid try to apply a month before the deadline, the deadline is May 1!. You can start applying on January 1.

Weather at St. Philip's College: In my opinion the weather at st.Philips college is good.

4 College Student

Online Courses at San Antonio College: I like online classes because I can work on my own time but they are still structured enough that you wont fall behind. My professors have been awesome! It really is one of those things that you get as much out of as you put into it though. Your not going to skate by but it won't kill you. I enjoy taking my time with the materials and seeing all my grades lined up as I go.

Academic Experience at San Antonio College: The one good experience I have had at SAC are the professors. Mine have been helpful, caring, and motivating. They encourage you to learn the material and present it in a fashion that I find highly agreeable.

Tuition & Financial Aid at San Antonio College: First of all I am being severely overcharged by a COMMUNITY college. I spent 1700 on tuition for 3 classes because I am considered out of district. I could have went to Texas State for about 200 more and had a better education record.
Secondly, most of the people who work on campus are either rude, uncaring or plain ignorant of what they should actually be doing. The staff couldn't care less wether you fail or succeed with maybe a few exceptions. The system is broken at this school and all of the people I know who attend agree. The only reason why people attend sac is because of the low price, which I unfortunately did not get to take advantage of.
The one reason I have not rated this school an F is because I actually like the instructors I have had. They DO care and are good at their jobs.

Campus Resources at San Antonio College: There are several large computer labs that have a set schedule. They do offer wireless access if you have the ability to carry around your laptop on top of all your books. They do allow you to print any necessary items that you need to, however they do charge you per page. If i am not mistaken last time I went it was .10 cents per black and white page and .25 cents per color. It does make it so much easier for you to have your own home computer to do all of you work at home. There are some classes that you do need to take your work to their labs though for their software programs which I find so inconvenient, but I am sure all schools are like that.

Campus Resources at San Antonio College: SAC is okay. I believe there is a gym but not sure. They do have computer labs, a pretty large student center, however the library is kind of small.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience at San Antonio College: SAC offers a lot of different academic, however you may not be able to finish your degree in all the fields you might have to transfer depending on your career decision.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience at San Antonio College: It would be overwhelming considering there are a lot of students.

3 College Sophomore

Student Body at San Antonio College: Its a great size. Theres not too many or to low. So Its good.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources at San Antonio College: I dont really get involved into this type of campus rescoures

3 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility at San Antonio College: Its ok. I dont really understand the question and dont know how to answer.

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses at San Antonio College: There not that great. I wouldnt take another class online.

3 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid at San Antonio College: I didn't get this semesters financial aid, because my dad makes too much money. I dont even live with him anymore. I know the age is 24 to be claimed by yourself, but it is still a pain to have this happen to me.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience at San Antonio College: Classes are getting harder and more time consuming.

2 College Junior

Academic Flexibility at San Antonio College: The lack of communication was very frustrating. I was trying to transfer from Austin to San Antonio and had to make two different trips because no one would return my calls or emails. The advising process could be better. Sometimes students need a one on one in an office sit down visit.
