Academic Flexibility at Northwest Vista College: The atmosphere at Northwest Vista has more of a university atmosphere than any other alamo college in my sense. The classes, classmates, and professors are very nice and actually engage with their students. Some of the classes are difficult but only if you do not attend class or take notes. I have not yet tried transferring but I have been told from other students that it is not difficult at all and all credits are credible to any other Texas university or college.

Academic Experience at San Antonio College: Since I started school in 2002, took a lengthy absence and returned in the fall of 2011 the degree requirements have changed a few times. I was told that the physical education courses I took are no longer required. The online My Map system is very flawed. This system still shows I am required to take the statistics of psychology course, but I was told by the department chair that it is no longer required for the Associate of Arts in Psychology only after I reached out to him regarding being able to register for said course. I would never have known had I not brought up the I.T. issue associated with the pre-requisite error when registering online. A counselor had previously told me that they were aware of the issue, but that was all there was no mention of when this would be remedied.

Campus Resources at San Antonio College: There are activities but unless you attend the campus during the day, you are probably not going to know about them. I did take my family to a showing of the Dark Knight Rises which was free to me and only a dollar each for my family members. This was a nice, affordable option for the community. The academic programs are alright, not outstanding.

Career Services at Northwest Vista College: The career and transfer services are amazing, they really try to help out with my degree plan for my major and explain what i should also take to help out on my way there. They have helped me select my major, and select my first semester of classes. They are super helpful, not disappointing, and offer options for classes and careers.

Tuition & Financial Aid at Northwest Vista College: The tuition is exactly what i'm expecting for the classes i'm taking. It is affordable, and the financial aid works with me to help me pay.

5 College Freshman

Student Body at San Antonio College: The campus consists of people with full-time/part-time jobs or families. There are also a variety of students from all over the country which makes learning more fun.

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience at San Antonio College: I am majoring in Nursing and my classes are quite challenging but it has helped me grow a lot. The teachers are always telling the students information such as how we can save more money, etc.

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience at San Antonio College: The campus, students, and staff is great. My professors find the time to help out each of the students in any way they can. The campus always have events that students may find interests in. The cafeteria is just right. Not too crowded, but I wish the food/beverage prices would go a little lower.

5 College Junior

Computers at St. Philip's College: Always fast and on going. Very helpful and has all the required needs as a Allied Health Major.

Campus Resources at Northwest Vista College: The atmosphere and buildings are great. I think anyone would love it here.

Campus Resources at Northwest Vista College: The computers are all over campus, from the library to each department. There is never a shortage on where you can print! However, the campus website can get really slow when everyone begins signing up for classes.

3 College Freshman

Career Services at Northwest Vista College: The prime focus of the community college is to help you find a pathway (whether transferring or getting a job) after the years completed on your basics. There are many resources on campus to give you advice and assistance.

4 College Freshman

Campus Resources at Northwest Vista College: The library is really nice with plenty of computers for everyone to use, and just above it, on the 2nd floor, is the WAC lab to help with all writing assignments. Also the library is perfect for a nap between classes!

4 College Freshman

Campus Resources at Northwest Vista College: The campus is very beautiful! The classes are small and easy to participate in!

3 College Sophomore

Majors at St. Philip's College: I rate the program very good at school. I enjoy attending school very much at the campus. I am just very happy that the campus is giving me the opportunity to get my Associates degree.

3 College Sophomore

Parking at St. Philip's College: I think the parking can be improved and the cost for parking on campus is fair.

3 College Sophomore

Facilities at St. Philip's College: The unique things I like about the campus is the welcome center because it stands out the most and the people there are very friendly there. Except for one time when I went to the financial aid office and asked a question about a scholarship and the lady was very rude to me.

3 College Sophomore

Facilities at St. Philip's College: The new math building is very nice compared to the old one and the desks are much bigger than what the other building had including the chairs. The room are very nice as well.

4 College Sophomore

Student Body at San Antonio College: The average SAC student is of some latino or Hispanic origin. There is cultural acceptance and tolerance. Everyone gets an education regardless of race, sexual preference, religion or ethnic background.

3 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid at San Antonio College: Tuition is great and convenient. It definitely well worth the money. Financial aid has been a pain, however. They are unable to help you and are clueless about what is going on. Often times they are not in the best mood which makes it hard for you to want to go there for help.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility at San Antonio College: This school is convenient, and the advisors in my area are great. I did not like the financial aid department because they were disorganized and are unable to help with anything you might ask.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility at Palo Alto College: I mainly chose this campus because it is convenient and closer to home. Also, because most of the professors are willing to help you or work with you.

3 College Senior

Online Courses at Northwest Vista College: I wasn't sure how I would do but if you are on top of things you will do fine. Although there is alot of work to be done just don't fall behind and you will be finding yourself with an A or B.

3 College Senior

Student Body at Northwest Vista College: There is no one you will meet that are the same, maybe a few that undergo the same situation but never the same. Everyone often has to juggle there life outside of school with school. Making friends is always a plus while juggling through college but it isn't a priority.

3 College Freshman

Student Body at Northwest Vista College: Many people at my school work hard in and outside of the class room. Everyone I know here is busy with school work and real work with family and jobs but we all try to get our responsibilities taken care of in a timely matter.
