Campus Resources at Northwest Vista College: Northwest Vista is beautiful for a community college setting. The lake really sets the tone by being the central part of campus and the the professors are usually very reasonable, easy to reach and will help you get by in any subject you are struggling in. However, I hate the social aspect of the school. there really is none. Everyone just goes to class and leaves. Not very friendly

Student Body at Palo Alto College: There is people of many races, religions, sexual orientation. There is no diversity everyone is treated equally and deserves to have a high level of education.

Online Courses at Palo Alto College: I am taking one currently and its scary at first when you dont know what to expect but if you keep up with your work and get on and check your assignments you should do great.

Academic Experience at Northwest Vista College: I have never personally had a problem with the teachers here. Because many of them are teaching as a second job, they tend to be here because they want to be, leading to very personable and flexible teachers. Sometimes the registration can be a little hassling and become problematic, but other than that, it is very tolerable.

Tuition & Financial Aid at Northwest Vista College: There are some fees that I wasn't aware of until they were on my statement, but they were negligible for the most part. The aid I received was more than enough to cover it. A word of advice though: Don't procrastinate with the forms! It will only hurt you in the long run.

Campus Resources at Northwest Vista College: The internet on campus is actually quite passable, being easily accessed and being of above average speed, even during peak hours. There are several open computer labs, and labs devoted to single subjects scattered around campus. If a computer is needed, there is almost always access to one somewhere on campus.

Campus Resources at Northwest Vista College: The campus has a good fine arts building and an okay athletic building. The library is a bit small, but has most things a student would require. There is also a cybercafe, and other places on campus intended simply for students to relax, leading to a very comfortable atmosphere.

4 College Freshman

Campus Resources at Northwest Vista College: The campus recognizes that the student diversity extends beyond just ethnicity or religious beliefs, so far as to include the home life, so there are programs set up everywhere to help students get by and to make things a little easier.

3 College Freshman

Student Body at Northwest Vista College: Being a community college, many of the students here are just trying to trudge through a degree. Some are legitimately here to earn credits and transfer to a nearby university, but most are here out of convenience, leading to an overall, very average student body. The diversity is something to be admired, though. You can quite literally find someone from almost any walk of life here.

Campus Resources at San Antonio College: The library is under construction now, but we still can use computer labs in the building. They mostly have them in every building. They also provide wifi around campus.

Tuition & Financial Aid at San Antonio College: I think it good. Always a long line in the office. Calling them is better but i don't seem to get the best when i call.

4 College Junior

Online Courses at Palo Alto College: I would have to say that I was at first a little nervous about taking courses online, but is was actually easy. The professors kept to the syllabus so there were no surprise work. I learned how to manage my time since there was no one telling me when I needed to turn in my work. Whenever I had questions I could just simply e-mail the instructor and they would help me out in a decent amount of time.

Academic Flexibility at Northwest Vista College: The main reason why I chose this school was to save money. Then I soon realized it's very convient. I love how flexible Vista is, Im able to work around my volleyball and work scheldule, and keep up my grades without feeling overwhealmend

Career Services at Northwest Vista College: I know that they have a lot of students to tend to but I felt like I was just another student. I would love it if they took more individual time.

5 College Sophomore

Academic Experience at Northwest Vista College: I am a Pre-medicine/biology major and my classes can be very difficult especially since I have a part time job. However, I do enjoy my major, because it keeps my workload up to a fairly high standard and I learn a lot everyday. So far all of the sciences I have taken, like chemistry and biology classes, are very difficult but so much fun. The curriculum is set to an intensive standard and I believe that it is the best thing for me, because I work best when I'm forced to work hard and under pressure. The facilities at my school are excellent. For example, the laboratories have a good amount of space to do your experiments and the classrooms are very comfortable. The professors are always happy to help you learn. I enjoy being at my school and I am going to miss it when I transfer to UTSA this semester. For a community college it keeps me happy with my choice of major, because it supplies all the sources, supplies, and teachers I need in order to increase my knowledge about my major.

Online Courses at Palo Alto College: The Internet classes were the best! I think I'd rather take all online classes than in-class ones. The interaction between students and the instructor was great. You were able to do it on your time and around your own schedule. If you had to work or were sick in bed all you'd have to do is pull the class up online in the comfort of your own home and do your work.

Student Body at Palo Alto College: I think that over all, Palo Alto is a great environment to e in as a college student. Everyone is friendly, they have excellent programs for tutoring, nutrition and exercise, and they also have a day care. The faculty and staff are all friendly and are a huge help. I've had such a wonderful experience attending Palo Alto college.

Diversity at St. Philip's College: The environment is friendly and everyone seems to enjoy the campus. There are so many different cultures, religions and economic backgrounds in San Antonio, that the campus is not affected by it at all.

5 College Senior

Local Atmosphere at St. Philip's College: San Antonio is a small town in a big city. The nightlife is fun and people around here are so nice and friendly to everyone. There are so many different cultures within San Antonio sometimes you forget where you are at. San Antonio has several museums, Fiesta Texas, Sea World, The Alamo, The Missions, and other historical areas to go to. The weather is great.

5 College Senior

Academics at St. Philip's College: The curriculum is great to understand and easy to follow. The professors have a great understanding of the topics they discuss with the class. The registration was simple and there is plenty of people willing to help if needed. The workload depended on the professor, but is not to hard when you stay organized.

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience at Northwest Vista College: I am a business major and the courses are very well presented by professional and caring teachers. Each subject has been given to me through their life experiences rather than it being taught just out of the book. Their given assignments are given to us as it would be in the the actual workforce.

3 College Freshman

Career Services at Northwest Vista College: I am currently still attending but will be graduating next spring. I haven't quite yet started the process but will soon but so far the advising aspect wasn't as reliable until I decided to stay with one Advisor. However, career opportunities are made present on campus through career events and opportunities to join programs that will help you connect with career opportunities of your interest.

4 College Freshman

Campus Resources at Northwest Vista College: Yes, computer labs are available and wireless connection is great and suffice for a last minute paper you need to write. Printing however can be frustrating when you run out of money on the card required to print. The cost is $.10 per page which can easily add up.The need for a personal computer to take to school or even have one is diminished by the availability of technological help on campus.

4 College Freshman

Campus Resources at Northwest Vista College: The school provides much help with transportation for students with shuttles and off campus parking. The social scene is made easily with other students that I have encountered through classes. The campus is not enormous which makes it easier to relate to others and professors.

4 College Freshman

Campus Resources at Northwest Vista College: The campus overall is comfortable for students to stay on but facilities are becoming quite small for the number of students entering campus. The campus is however very camera, hangout, study, and event friendly.
