Online Courses at Palo Alto College: This past semester I took my first online course, I was nervous at first, thinking I wasn't going to understand how it worked. The teacher that I had was always up-to-date with the students, always responding to our questions ASAP. The work was very simple, the teacher went into detail about what was needed in each task. I would definitely take another online course again.

Career Services at San Antonio College: They are more interested in just giving you a list of available positions, with no explanation of what would be considered good approaches to said position. There is little to no explanation of background criteria or precious skills needed.

Student Body at San Antonio College: It is diverse ethnicaly and spiritually but in every class the majority of students seemed to goof off and didnt care about learning they just wanted to pass.

Academic Flexibility at San Antonio College: The class schedule is not very good unless you have more than 38 hours on your degree plan. It allows 38+ hours to sign up for classes first so everyone else is stuck taking crazy hours or not being able to take a class at all. I needed micro biology and ended up bumped three semesters and had to take classes I didnt need for my degree just to keep my gov loans.

Career Services at San Antonio College: the people in charge and at the information desks in every department at SAC do not have any answers to any question. They just send you to another deprtment that doesnt know.

Academic Experience at Northwest Vista College: The classes are small and professors are informative but this school for my major is not intended to be used to get more than my basic courses. The classes are well taught though and it is inexpensive considering that it is a Community College. The school also provides you with opportunities to speak with councilors for academic advising, transferring to other schools and also have opportunities to talk to advisers from interested universities in the area.

Academic Experience at San Antonio College: I wiouldn't say the learning experience is horrible, but I would like to learn a bit more from my classes than what I have. Perhaps by taking some more advanced classes my experience will change.

Academic Flexibility at San Antonio College: I would say that the curriculum is very flexible at San Antonio College. The reason is because most classes are transferrible to all universities in Texas and most others across the country. With so many classes provided by the school, the flexibility with times and teachers desired are very good also.

Campus Resources at Northwest Vista College: For the most part, the computer network is up to par. If the network has any problems the entire school is notified including teachers and our regarded assignments. The campus has a printing system that works online rather than a separate system on campus. There are also a variety of computer labs with printers and easy access.

Academic Flexibility at Northwest Vista College: The reason I continue to attend Northwest Vista College is because of the flexibility in class schedules. I juggle between school and work and I am able to attend both.

Career Services at Northwest Vista College: The C.A.T.S. (Career and Transfer Center) helps students transfer and/or helps assist students in considering the next step in their career goals. I have not graduated, however, from the services they have provided thus far, I am confident they will help guide me in the right direction as they have been.

Campus Resources at San Antonio College: The network at my campus is legit, but the only time the server moves slow is on the first week of college. Many new students and old students alike storms the server on the first week of class--normally for schedules, print jobs and other first-day paper work needed.

Campus Resources at San Antonio College: All, but one particular facility is overall decent at SAC. The finanical aid department is by far the worst center. For some odd reason, most of the employees in the financial aid department are clueless, incompetent and they can not seem to do their jobs without causing students to suffer, or receive their financial aid on time.

Campus Resources at San Antonio College: San Antonio College now have huge visible maps for people to read. Most instructors can direct students on where to go if they need help. What I admire about SAC is that the first day of school is always generous to its students. SAC offers free snacks, pencils, gifts and toiletries that comes in handy down the stretch.

Academic Flexibility at Northwest Vista College: I have had good experiences with the flexibility of the classes and instructors and the willingness to work with the student . However trying to deal with the financial aid department can be very frustrating and when you need documents provided to other government agencies the process can be very frustrating you really need to know who is good in the front office and who to avoid but overall it could be worse.

Academic Experience at Northwest Vista College: Being a Fine Arts major at Northwest Vista is very empowering I have had my artwork on display and I receive constructive criticism from my professors and also receive career advice as well. My one instructor gave me an opportunity to teach Fencing to middle school age kids. A other instructor showed me how to narrow my major down to what I wanted it to be verses what a counselor had me choose . So overall it's great .

Career Services at Northwest Vista College: I have heard good things about the Career Services and bad things but I think it boils down to how willing you are to work with them . To me it is not about me going in and telling them I need a job but going in with an open mind and working on whatever options that are available as a team . I need to put in just as much effort into the process as they do .

3 College Junior

Academic Experience at Northwest Vista College: I have a learning disability which can depending on the class makes a tough course harder . I have had some wonderful professors who have worked with me to overcome this problem and I have had other professors that give new meaning to jerk . But viewing this from an overall view the professors have genuine desire to help me do the course and do well in the course .

Student Body at Northwest Vista College: Northwest Vista College has a incredible variety of students as well as instructors. I love that the instructors are so hands on and really want their students to achieve great things and will go the extra mile for us. As far as students we come from all walks of life and this adds to the wealth of learning one can receive if they are open to it. We have students fresh out of high school to single parents to people in their 40's and 50's who are returning to school . The dean of students is extremely accessible to the student body. The student body comes together when one of their own needs them to case in point when one student needed blood we held a blood drive and also took the time to register for donating bone marrow .Both the student body and staff take racial diversity as a learning opportunity and we grow from this opportunity .

Academic Experience at Northwest Vista College: The professors have a very outstanding time and experience of helping you out in their spare/ free time and teaching you exactly what we students need to acknowledge. Studying is found just about everywhere, whether at the library or with the professor alone. This school has so much programs to choose from and I would definitely recommend it amongst anybody else.

Online Courses at San Antonio College: I was nervous but it was much smoother than expected. I kinda missed the teacher to student interaction but it was more feasible at the time for me and my schedule. I learned how to manage my time more effectively.

Local Atmosphere at St. Philip's College: St Phillips is located just east of downtown San Antonio. The cost of living is great. Its a small college which makes it easy to find everything. I like that the school has all specific classes in specific buildings. I just wish there Early Childhood program was bigger there.

Tuition & Financial Aid at San Antonio College: The financial aid department at my school is one of the most unhelpful departments on campus and also has some of the rudest staff members. However financial aid is not a very difficult thing to figure out; even if its by yourself.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience at San Antonio College: It is nice. I like all of the people I meet in my major classes. Some of my major classes are pretty difficult.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources at San Antonio College: There are many helpful resources throughout my campus such as the library, computer labs, and also study halls with tutors.
