Academic Experience at San Antonio College: Overall, it's been a good experience. I've only had one distinctly hostile instructor, but the rest have been great.
The curriculum is good, but I would suggest taking core classes online, as they don't require specialized knowledge or distinctly unique instruction.
My major complaint is the registration process. It requires an online application that takes days to be reviewed, followed by a grindingly slow bureaucracy that isn't distinctly interested in getting students into classes.

Parking at St. Philip's College: Parking is very bad because there are so many students. If you don't get to school early enough u will have to park very far from the buildings.

Transportation at St. Philip's College: Public transportation is a good route to go if you want to save money. and at this campus, the Via bus conveniently stops right in front of the campus

Off-Campus Dining at St. Philip's College: San Antonio provides various dining options. You will find that mostly it caters to the hispanic population, however, there is a wide range of selection throughout the city. everything is easily accessible and decently priced. One of the best cities for good food.

Tuition & Financial Aid at San Antonio College: From an early age I’ve always been deeply interested in computing. It was my dad, introducing me to the computer systems at his work place that first sparked this interest. I can always remember the feeling of wanting to know just how computers worked, why they worked and what else they could do.
I am interested in studying a course such as Computer Science because I find the subject area very exciting. When I was younger, I was absolutely fascinated by Computers & games and later I came to learn more about hardware and how computers work, this conformed my belief that this is the kind of course for me I enjoy studying psychology and how computers are used in psychometric testing and by the police, design technology because of use of computing in designing, and biology learning how things work together in harmony I hope to choose a career in computing and communication because of its opening, modernity and lots of challenges

Academic Experience at San Antonio College: Registration was pretty easy once you get the hang of ACES. Professors were overall, excellent. Easy to talk to, and were accessible. The curriculum for a Theater (Drama) major is overall, beyond excellent.

Academic Flexibility at San Antonio College: It's been easy for me to transfer my credits to Sam Houston State University. Teachers and class schedules are both flexible.

Academic Experience at San Antonio College: The theater department is excellent with award winning directors, and shows. The courses are pretty easy if you're a full on theater geek. The Dance department is also excellent with a handful of choreographers (some who're also students) that will physically challenge you.

Academic Experience at San Antonio College: I think the enrollment process is very easy to tackle. Registering for classes was so fast especially the fact that I was able to search by college was even better. Also making a payment was not a problem on campus or over the net even with payment plans. The professors are outstanding, understanding that a community college is way smaller than a university has it's advantages. Teachers are able to sit down with a student to answer question and problems with specific material that student are having difficulties in. So yes, professors are very much involved with the students here.

Student Body at San Antonio College: The campus consist of a large student body that is made up diversity, from race, religious, sexuality, and gender. We all are friendly and tend to thrive for a better education. Some students are single, married with children, and/or are full-time employees but still manage to attend school to gain a career. To better the community by becoming the future career leader's in the universe.

I enjoy every minute of it. The professors are very helpful and the campus is easy to navigate through. The courses I am attending has presented the material well and is very interesting. Some courses may be intensive but not overwhelming. In the future I look forward to attending the Dental Program by the fall of 2014.

Campus Resources at Northwest Vista College: School Aspects – outstanding teachers, campus scenery, man made lake on campus, cafeteria food, campus recreational activities, scholarship opportunities, very affordable, go green campus, and better yet smoke free campus.

Campus Resources at Northwest Vista College: The computer network is great to me. We recently updated our internet explorer. We stay up to date on that pretty well, we also have Mac computers in our library. Printing on campus is easy and not very expensive. You make a Go print account add money to it and can print whatever you need. You can stay on a computer as long as you need to, there is not time limit. The internet speed has also improved at our school.

Campus Resources at Northwest Vista College: Northwest Vista is the best alamo community college in San Antonio. We are a fairly new campus expanding out resources for students. Our newest one being a parking garage. We never had one but with enrollment increasing rapidly, our school invested in this. It is looking great and very modern and will be ready by mid August.
Our school offers many tutoring labs for all subjects, with excellent tutors. We also have a rec center which is very nice and we have sports recreational teams. I absolutely believe my school is one of the best community college's in the state if not nation. Our teachers are outstanding, very friendly, helpful, passionate and knowledgeable.

Campus Resources at Palo Alto College: nothing wrong with the college because they help you all the way

Academic Experience at Palo Alto College: all the teachers are involved with all the students and are all very helpful

Academic Experience at Northwest Vista College: I personally love taking classes at Northwest Vista. They course load isn't nearly as hard as big universities that "weed out" students. I honestly believe that the staff is here to help you. I have had some amazing professors and I have learned more in their classes than I ever did in high school.

Academic Flexibility at Northwest Vista College: Starting my first semester at Northwest Vista was THE biggest struggle I've had, college-wise. It seemed like none of the administration was trying to help and I was being sent in circles to see different people multiple times. However, my second semester and on have been smooth sailing. I am able to fit my full time class schedule around my work and have many options as to what classes to take and who to take them with.

4 College Sophomore

Student Body at Northwest Vista College: My student body does an excellent job at reaching out to everyone of all sorts of backgrounds. There are many different groups and clubs to join, as well as events that the Student Council hosts. It really helps pull everyone together and gives NVC that sense of unity.

Tuition & Financial Aid at Northwest Vista College: super cheep, good teachers, but little finical aid opportunities

Academic Experience at Palo Alto College: My major is computer security and they have a computer club and STEM club

3 College Junior

Academic Experience at Palo Alto College: The professors are good and always willing to help and are honest
