Facilities at Palo Alto College: We have a vet tech program and my school is the only one that does out of the Alamo colleges

Overall Experience at San Antonio College: I like San Antonio College and the medical assisting program but the parking is a nightmare. And the registration process is not very user friendly.

Student Body at San Antonio College: Everyone on my campus is very kind and are easy to communicate with. It is pretty mind boggling to think about how open everyone is and how easily they are willing to help each other like forming study groups. It is very easy to fall into a great group of friends because everyone is so easy going and sweet.

Tuition & Financial Aid at San Antonio College: The financial aid has benefited me greatly, I am able to provide myself with supplies, books and other supplies I have needed to succeed in class. I was very fortunate to have had a financial aid advisor in high school to help me with applying for financial aid and scholarships. I recommend to all students applying to look for a financial aid advisor to better understand the whole process.

Online Courses at San Antonio College: I have a professor in the classroom who explains to us who to complete work but, we complete work online. It is very useful because we can check when assignments are due and we are able to see our grades as soon as we turn them in. It is very comforting to know what you are missing and what you need help on.

Campus Resources at San Antonio College: The resources at the campus are very abundant. There are so many places students can find help on any subject like financial aid, tutoring, computers or printing. The campus is always having something happening and they are available to all students and even people who aren't students sometimes. The campus is very visually appealing, the grounds are very neat and clean and all throughout the week you can see the people caring for the grounds. It is just an overall beautifully abundant and bustling campus to attend.

Campus Resources at San Antonio College: The technology resources available to students is almost amazing. There are so many places on campus where students can use computers, print and use Wi-Fi so students can still use there laptops or tablets. It is very difficult for students to have any excuse for not having there work done based on the fact that there are so many places where students can work.

Overall Experience at San Antonio College: I have really enjoyed attending San Antonio College so far, it has been a great experience and I really enjoy going to school and learning. If I had to do it all over again and I had decided to apply to other universities and got accepted that would have been the only reason I would have decided not to attend. I would not have chosen any other community college because before I was attending all I heard was nothing but good things about the campus and its professors. Now that I have firsthand experience attending I know that it really is a great unique campus.

Facilities at San Antonio College: There is always something going on at the campus. Nearly everyday there are people set up and doing some kind of activity like dancing, drawing with chalk, selling food, boxing, interviewing people etc. It is very interesting to see how much is really going on at school.

Academic Flexibility at San Antonio College: The classes are very flexible, you are able to chose at what times and days you will take your classes. The instructors are very kind and reasonable. They are willing to work with you if there is a reason you can't be in class for the day. They offer many different options for you to use to help get work done or get help. All the resources that are provided help greatly when you are in any need at all.

Academic Experience at San Antonio College: In the registration process there are many different resources available to help aid you. In the initial enrollment process, we were all able to speak one on one to a counselor and get an idea about what classes we should take. When you would register for courses you could choose when you wanted to take your classes to fit your schedule. During the class weeks and even on the weekends students can use the campuses many resources to get their assignments done. There are fully equipped computer labs, printing services, counseling centers, scholarship aids and many others that have been very beneficial.

Academic Experience at San Antonio College: I am completing my prerequisites at this moment. The classes I am taking now have a pretty moderate work load, but it is very easy to fall behind if you don't keep up and communicate with your professors. I am pretty satisfied with the work flow in my classes.

Career Services at San Antonio College: At San Antonio College, when you graduate you can visit the Empowerment Center on our campus. There are counselors there that will help you find a job, make a resume and career portfolio. If a person needs clothes for an interview they give referrals to places where they will provide clothes. If the graduate needs a digital or hard copy of their resume they provide a USB or up to 5 free copies of resume.

Overall Experience at San Antonio College: My overall experience at San Antonio College as been very enriching with knowledge, friendships, and opportunities within the campus allowing me to further my education and goals of becoming an ophthalmologist. My favorite experience couldn't be limited to one but an on going experience at this campus being the everlasting relationships that I have built throughout my time here at San Antonio College. From aspiring doctors, future political activists to artists and engineers, the friends and acquaintances I have met here will forever affect how I practice as a physician, respecting everybody's opinions and choices in life. If I had the choice to go back in time and choose a campus I would definitely choose San Antonio College again for my associates degree because of the enriching amount of knowledge I have attained through the professors and my peers..

Academic Flexibility at San Antonio College: The teachers are very flexible however the administration is not. Professors understand exigent circumstances arise and will work with you to make sure you complete school work and exams on time. Administration are more structured in a way that requires you to meet deadlines with no if(s), and(s), or but(s). I have never had a problem with administrative deadlines but from what some of my classmates tell me they are very strict with turning in student information and deadlines which I believe is understandable.

Student Body at San Antonio College: The student body at my school is a mixture between career oriented, geeky, fun, friendly, creative and hardworking students most of whom are planning to transfer to a University to finish a degree plan. There are multiple clubs for each kind of personality including agnostic and atheists, philosophers, religious, pre-med, gamers, nature lovers, and even people who love biking and running.

Facilities at San Antonio College: The campus is aesthetically pleasing with most of the modern facilities being built currently. Facilities are well built however most students wish there was more technology available to us including computers, printers, study rooms and student game centers to allow us to commune together and make new friends.

Career Services at San Antonio College: Excellent quality of assistance from both my current campus and my transfer campus in helping me understand what exactly is being transferred credit wise and what next steps are necessary for gaining my BA in biology.

Recent Alumnus

Online Courses at San Antonio College: I have never taken an online course, I prefer a classroom experience.
