Tuition & Financial Aid: My school offers alot through the financial aid dept. Everyone is very helpful and they have alot of possibilities for scholarships. Every class I have taken hs been well worth the tuition.

Academic Experience: All of the classes I have taken have ben very informative, and the professors take their jobs very seriously. I feel they give us as much information as they can to educate us the best way possible.

Student Body: My school is very diverse. There are all age ranges and all ethnic backgrounds. Alot of people work really hard to get their school work accomplished, while alot of us have other priorities in our lives such as kids or jobs. Overall my school is very good and there are alot of hard working students.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The education I am getting is great. I feel like the teachers must really love their subjects and they really want students to enjoy class. My teachers have always been very encouraging and have gone out of their way to bring me information about transferring to other colleges and important meetings and deadlines. They have encouraged me to pursue what I love, not something that will bring me money but no satisfaction.

Student Body: Everyone is accepted at ACC. there are so many ethnic origins, religious divisions, personalities. If you are a student who likes to dress in loud colors, then you won't be picked on. If you prefer jeans and a T-shirt, then there is no pressure to dress up.

Campus Resources: I really like the availability of computer labs. I never bring a computer to school. I don't need it in class and If I need to do research I go to the library. The computer labs all have very nice updated computers and sufficient numbers of them.

Campus Resources: One thing that i immediately noticed as a new student was the diverstiy on campus. being a home schooler, I grew up and had many experiences around people of all ages. I think going to school with teenagers and adults with children and even older adults helped me to be more comfortable. It was more like the atmosphere of my childhood rather than the grade school classes with only children of one age. You can gain perspective from students of all walks of life.

Campus Resources: There are sufficient resources on campus but no gym facilities. I feel this would be a HUGE improvement to campus.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I didn't got financial aid in full but just the half of it. It can cover the tuition but not all of the expenses because I am a part time student.

5 College Senior

Online Courses: I enjoy taking the online classes provided by ACC. The teachers I have had have been great and the courses are flexible to my schedule.

4 College Senior

Student Body: The people at my school are diverse and from multiple different backgrounds. Older, younger, traditional, and nontraditional students are all intermingled. The main goal of the majority of the students is to get their degree. However, most enjoy the time they have to spend at the college by making friends, socializing, joining clubs, or participating in activities the college offers.

4 College Junior

Career Services: I feel that when students go for help, that they do not really get the helpbthat they need. People in the office just give the bare minimum of what we need when it comes to getting help.

3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: I was able to transfer credits into ACC without any trouble. I have confirmed my credits will transfer successfully to another institution. I have also been able to arrange my curriculum around my work and personal schedule.

4 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The education I am receiving is well worth the tuition being paid.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: There do have classes day and night. And online classes so if you work or have childern at home you can work around it.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: I have not been in school for about 20 years and the Instructors has help with my studies and answered any question I have had. I think the classes are really prepare for a career or transfering to another college.

3 College Junior

Student Body: The student are helpful in many ways. If you ask questions about classes that you are taking they help you with. and sometime when ask question about your studies they might be studing the same thing and help with them. At Alamance community the people there don't judge you. They know we are all there for a goal.

Academic Experience: Oral Communication

My instructor made this class so exciting. She gave us tools and ideas for speaking in front of a audiance. She also gave real life example of speakers. One of the tools she would use is video taping use while presented our speech. We would watch ourself and learn from it.
I would recommend this class for anyone who will be a specker.

Overall Experience: I like my school because the prices low comparing other Universities. It is not that extrict how my other school in Panama was.

Academic Flexibility: Near My House – the main reason I chose this school was because is not far from home. I am able to go to work after school on time. Also, I was receiving a full schoolarship from this school. And The school did not send me a notice if I received it or not. Because of that its going to take me more time to finish school than I was expecting. I have to save money for me to go to school next year and not this following semester how I was expecting to.

Academic Experience: The academics offered at Alamance Community College are great. The classes that I have taking have helped me prepare to take harder classes in the future. The teachers that I had were very helpful, and patient. The workload was not overwhelming, but it definitely had me up at night working hard. Some of the programs are great, and I hope I am in one of the programs this coming year. It is called C-Step, and it is one of the best programs they have there.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I have applied for financial aid plenty of times, and according to financial aid or fafsa, it will never let us finish our application. The office told us that it was because we wouldn't be able to receive it. I have contacted the office plenty of times about this, and all they tell me to do is apply for scholarships.
