Scholarships: The staff is not all that great. It was a pain trying to get my paperwork together so I can have my financial aid...and the amount I have is still not enough.

Campus Dining: Cafe is very bland. Serves nearly the same food everyday. It gets old after a while

Scholarships: There aren't many scholarship options available. I received the Dean's scholarship for full tuition fees and books. I took out a loan for my housing and for some reason they took some of my loan money for tuition that is covered in my scholarship.

Academics: The college of business is very particular about its requirements. The curriculum is challenging because they want to push the students. The college of business is fairly new with labs and study areas. The professors encourage all students to take internships and they will help you gain them. All of the professors have experience in the fields in which they are teaching.

Diversity: Because the school is a HBCU it is majority black. But there are other races, a lot of other races. These other races are accepted by the student body. Whatever views they have as far as politics or religion is not frowned upon by others.

Academics: The class size is small so the professors know each student individually and are always willing to give a one on one explanation. The curriculum is pretty average, not very challenging, The library offers many floors of study rooms, solo and group.

Greek Life: Alabama State University have a wonderful Greek life. If you maintain a 2.5 but I advise you strive for an higher GPA, so you will be assure that your grades are up to part. Greek students are looked at by non Greeks as an inspiration because everyone finds a person in the Greek life that you look up to. My ASU offers the Alpha's, Kappa's, AKA's, Delta's, Omega's, Sigma's, Zeta's. Our campus also have business, band, and service Greek fraternities and sororities as well.

Diversity: Although we have many people from different backgrounds, our student body is predominantly African American. I give our school a B+ in this area because we gladly welcome people from all cultures and ethnic groups into our school.

Majors: Now that we was have a dance major, I am very content. The only thing i would like to see more, is more scholarship oppurtunities for students in the local area and not just transfers and people outside of the AL area. Other than that, it provides alot of learning and great opputunites for students and we all benefit in some kind of way!
