Computers: The ASU computers, are very up-to-date-quality. But, the internet service can be quite slow at times! Making the computers difficult to perform at its peak performance! Our labs are usually over crowed and noisy. Also, the printers only work half of the time. So I sometimes have to wait to utilize the labs! With that being said, I could really use a laptop and printer of my own!

Off-Campus Dining: The Alabama State University off campus dining, is wonderful! It's very convenient and affordable. I'ts within walking distance of the school. At certain restaraunts, we students receive discounts on our meals. We also have a variety to choose from. Such as: Burger King, Subway, Hungry Howies, Sonic, and Martin's restaraunt! But the best of them all, is without a doubt, Martin's restarunt. It has delicious southern home cooked foods!

Majors: No Concern – I dont have really have any concerns about being an intern because I dont have much time.

Campus Dining: The Cafe – The options of food on campus could be much better. Enough said.

Health & Safety: Great Campus Police – I feel very safe attending Alabama State University. The City of Montgomery is great and the people here are friendly. Living on campus is a wonderful experience. The campus police are strict butfair and makes me feel safe not only during the day but also at night.

Guys & Girls: Fashion at My School – Most girls at my school are very fashionable and love to shop. Guys on the other hand love to invest their time in money in the latest Air Jordon sneakers and prefer to wear gym clothes to class.

3 College Junior

Computers: Wireless Access – The computers at my school are very beneficial and essential in getting work done on time. While the computer labs and printers on campus is always up in running, the wireless reliability on the other hand is always down and cause a big hindrances in turning homework in on time.

Off-Campus Dining: Eating Near Campus Is Horrible – the only restaurants around my campus is burger king and sonic.

1 College Sophomore

Facilities: Most of the facilities on Alabama State University campus is old. They are also in need of painting and remodeling.

3 College Freshman

Majors: Somewhat Difficult – The process of getting into my Computer Engineering major was somewhat difficult because in order for me to take it I have to major in mathematics and engineering.

3 College Freshman

Nightlife: House Party – The nightlife for students on campus is pretty involved mostly on the weekends there is house parties or clubs.

1 College Freshman

Computers: Labs Crowed and Wifi Bearly Work – The computer labs at Alabama State University are always crowded simply because we don't have enough computers and the students have to pay in order to use the printers. The school wifi hardly works i think because of the construction and all the student =s are on one server.

Computers: The Computers at Alabama State University are very useful especially in the writing lab. Along with our labs with have instructors who are extremely helpful and have a great understanding on how to help the students if they need help

Campus Strictness: No VISITATION!!!!!!! Other than no in room visitation with the opposite sex ASU is pretty good with the rules. There isnt really a "curfew" but they don't really want people outside just roaming past 1am. So they typically want everybody to hang out at the acadome past that time. Other than that things are pretty chill

Off-Campus Dining: Boring and Blah – Food at ASU becomes very repetitious. The cafe serves the same blah food pretty much on a constant basis. I must say that for special occasions (holidays etc.) food is AMAZING!! Good 'ol soul food cooking lol and on Wednesdays its always some type of special dessert. A new union is being made and wil be completed spring 2012 with starbucks mcdonalds chick fil a etc so quality will hopefully improve.

Health & Safety: Typical Crime – Crime at ASU is kind of controlled but ofcourse it has it's moments. Alot of locals (people who don't go to school but live around the area) roam around especially at night. It's break ins like any other school but Police are always on the move. The school is relatively safe in my opinion, its just like any other school with its crime rate.

Overall Experience: I Love It – I love it here. Makes you feel like family. Some teachers and staff are caring. I'm proud to say I attend Alabama State University.

Nightlife: Something for Everyone – At Alabama State University there is always something to do. There are a few house parties which usually are better then the clubs. Clubs usually are for college students as long as you have your school id. Every now and then there are a few that are for 21 or older. If your not a party person and like bowling there is a really cool bowling ally in Montgomery.

3 College Freshman

Diversity: It's an HBCU!! DUH!! Diversity there is skim. It's an HBCU so its majority African American. People of other ethnic backgrounds such as caucasian. puerto rican, and asain do attend and they seem to feel comfortable. It's welcoming to all people of different backgrounds

3 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: It Is What You Make It – Montgomery is a city with a lot of historical significance! But... it lacks in things that would benefit college students. Being that it has many college campuses, it sucks on that level. But then again. college life is what you make it

Parking: Could Be Better, but Overall... Not Bad. Parking availability could be better. However, ASU is doing a lot of renovations, so there should be more parking soon.

5 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: So Many Different People! There are so many people of different backgrounds, races, and sexualities, and I love them all! It's great to meet people from all over the US and even from out of the country. The people are also very accepting of others from other backgrounds, races, etc. It's just great to know that no matter who you are or where you're from, people will accept you regardless!

3 College Freshman

Facilities: The newest facility on campus is the new student center, or The Union as we call it. It's a great place for students to study, eat, relax, have fun, etc. The post office, admissions, student accounts, housing, etc. are all located in this building for our convenience. Also, there is a Subway and other restaurants for those who don't want to eat in the cafe. The other facilities on campus are are available to students for whatever they may need.

1 College Freshman

Academics: Professors Need to Be Advised on How to Advise Students – The faculty and staff are really stuck up. They have major attitudes that need adjusting. It is really hard to stay on track, because the hate to help students.

3 College Freshman

Health & Safety: Halfway Safe – There are a lot of non- students running around the campus. The security should be in forced more. Many police officers are not even qualified for certain situations that occur on campus.
