Academic Flexibility: The only convenience I've had at this school is how close it is to my family which is the only reason I chose to live here, with them, and go to this school. I no longer had the grueling responsibility of working full time while paying rent living in the suburbs of Atlanta and trying to manage taking a full load of classes at the same time. It has been easy transferring credits however, some teachers which are the advisers, are unaware of transfer credits especially if they do not have the same name. I took pre-calculus my first semester there because from what my adviser told me, I needed it. Come to find out, my college algebra class I had taken in Georgia had transferred in as pre-calculus at this college and the week before finals and after going to that class every Monday night for three hours, it had been all for nothing; I already had credit for that class which I'm sure now that's why my teacher would continuously call me a genius and wave my four tests in everyones face which were all 100's. The administration was very nice. They compensated me for my losses but unfortunately, I had finished that semester with only six hours and not nine.
For the most part though, my experience has been convenient.

Academic Flexibility: The main reason i chose this school is because its convenient as far as the distance is concerned. Also because I am a single parent of two small children.

4 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: I chose this school because it was close to home. Now it is time for me to open up arms and fly. I want to leave so I can be independent.

4 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: Easy Transfer – I chose this college because it was a great/cheaper / close to home way for me to get my basics befor transferring to a university.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Class Transfers – I do love the fact that Alabama Southern will allow most schools to transfer their credits. It sucks when you have to redo a class that you've already passed.
