Guys & Girls: Most people on campus are really cool and friendly, it's not hard to meet people at all.

2 College Sophomore

Transportation: Its hard to get transportation because there's no public transportation for a low price in the whole city. A student would have to spend ten dollars or more to get around. However, transportation on campus is good.

Health & Safety: The campus police keep a look out and keep it pretty safe on campus.

Greek Life: Non-Greek students view Greeks as cool people or people they might want to be like in the future. We don't have Greeks housing available on campus but Greeks are always on campus making campus life fun.

Computers: There are plenty of labs around campus that are usually open for students to use, but if you want to do late night online studying, bring your own.

Campus Housing: It isn't that bad to live on campus if you manage to get into one of the main dorms, but if you end up in one of the others its like being in a closet with a roommate...

Academics: It is a major that is very heavy on Mathematics and therefore it is very stressful. There are plenty of opportunities for internships and jobs though.

Overall ExperienceWhat's This?

The A&M experience is excellent! Students who have graduated from A&M often say that there is no place like "The Hill." Sure, students complain about the long financial aid lines, old buildings, and out-of-date resources, but when asked if they would do it all over again and still make A&M their first choice, many have said they would. A&M is truly a "home away from home." It's a great place for students to discover who they are and who they can become. Being a historically black college, A&M has so much history engraved in its roots. After attending A&M, students gain a greater appreciation for their heritage and for those who came before them. Also, out of all the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), A&M has one of the best food science programs. It is one of the only HBCU's that has an accredited program. Most of the students who graduate from A&M with a food science degree are employed and working for major companies like Coca-Cola.

A&M is a great school to attend. Lifelong friendships and connections are made on this campus. Students at A&M are more than classmates—they're family. They encourage and support each other throughout their academic journey.
