Facilities: Bulldog Pride – Our School founder is buried on campus along with his wife. There great career fairs on campus frequently. Most of the students are very friendly and they love the school and have tremendous school spirit. The academic programs are good.

Academics: International Business – I have been able to learn a lot. I know that with the chairperson of my department, I will have may opportunities come my way. The professors and the advisors are very helpful. There is sometimes a huge workload on the students. I know that even soon I will have a great internship coming my way.

Off-Campus Housing: Huntsville Place – This the only off-campus housing that uses your school financial aid to pay for it. The only problem is--is that Alabama A&M doesn't help you apply for it or try to encourage yo to move off-campus.

2 College Senior

Parking: Parking is a major issue at school. The campus is on a hill and there are few parking spots for major events that take place on campus.

Campus Housing: Housing at Alabama A&M University is one of the major complaints among students. The presence of bugs, robberies during school breaks, and cost of living in the dorms are main reasons that students move off campus.

Academics: I chose to attend Alabama A&M University because of their offer of a full scholarship. As I began to take classes, go through the registration process, and live on campus, I realized that the service provided by the faculty and staff leaves much to be desired. There are many problems regarding grading practices, cafeteria food quality, and dorm living that must be addressed before students start to enjoy matriculation.

Campus Strictness: Campus Is Strict, but Not a Prison – the police on campus know that people want to have fun and know the students might do some stupid youthful things. They won't really mess with you if you're not causing a scene, but if you're just down right out of line, you're going down for sure. sometimes things happen and once you've been caught they may give you a second chance on small things.

Drug Safety: Almost Everybody Smokes and Drinks – At the school, people are chilling smokin on any day of the week and drinking on the weekends. U will definately hear a good number of pass-out stories floating around after a big game/party weekend. the police are starting to crack down on it a bit more, but they're not really effective

Nightlife: Partying Is Where It All Happens – On any given weekend, the clubn is garunteed to be where everybody is trying to be. So many people go, that most people don't get in. there are always tons of house parties and they are just as live as the clubs. If you're at A&M U have to check it out at least once with your crew

Off-Campus Dining: Huntsville Eating – The Off-Campus dinning is great. You can find anything to eat on University from the dollar menu to the better eats for the low price at Cheddars to high quality foods at Bridge Street. Any food you want the City of Huntsville has it and its close to the school. I love to eat to I know!!!

Facilities: The campus has a certain relaxing fell about it. A new State of the Art Wellness Center. The on campus housing is good. You have a choice between traditional living and apartment style housing.

Off-Campus Housing: Apartments Are Moderate – Most apartments are well priced and you get what you pay for. The cheaper the apartment the worse off you are.

Campus Dining: My AAMU Dining Hall Experience – My first year on campus, I had to come about a month in advance because of band camp. During band camp time, the food was the best. Everything was prepared to perfection and nothing on the menu was repetitive. The food was cooked in a timely fashion with, not hardly any complaints. Once the semester began, the most popular dining hall had a major turn around. I noticed that the food did not offer as many options unlike band camp. The lines were longer, food was prepared at a slower pace unlike before, and it didn't bring that excitement to our taste buds like we had experienced a month prior. Students started to complain about the lack of service that was being provided. It had started to become an everyday problem and students would not cease and assist until something had been done. We started to see changes develop as the year progressed. The dining hall had seemed to get back into the swing of things like before. the menu improved, food had a desirable taste, and we were back in good graces with our dining hall and its chefs. All in all, if students did not want to eat in the dining hall, you had other restaurants around campus to choose from. Such fast food varieties like McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's, Sonic, etc.

Athletics: At aamu we have the best pep squad. even if we are loosing we still cheer like we are winning! Ant when we are winning its impossible to hear the person beside you becasue were constantly cheering even louder!

Computers: As far as computer labs go, A&M has plenty of lab resouces available on campus and I LOVE THAT because sometimes it can get cramped around midterms and finals

Diversity: It's Where You'r Going and Who You Know – Many students at Alabama A&M are not the same, we differ in many ways. From Political parties, your ethnicity, and defining your sexuality. on "The Hill" we look pass the small picture that makes up the person people appear to be and we focus on where the are going in life as far as future because when you judge people on how they look or their beliefs and culture you miss out on great opportunities that could help you in you future career.

Greek Life: Deltas, Ques, Kappas, Akas, Alphas, Zetas, and Sigmas – 6 out of the 7 Greeks are the most recognized at my school. Zetas get nothing really. Nobody at my school really cares too much for them. The Deltas,Ques,Kappas,AKAs,Alphas, and Sigmas are KNOWN. There are always parties for them and they really jump. Out of those 6 there are 4 that are really payed attention to at my school. Even if some of the attention is negative attention it's still attention. Kappas are looked at as homosexual, Ques are out there, AKAs are stuck up, and Deltas are laid back. Whether it is negative or positive feedback about them they are still a big part of campus life.

Health & Safety: AAMU Campus Life – Coming to Alabama A&M was a big change for me. The school that i was use to going to was a minority school meaning not so many blacks. Now at A&M it's majority blacks. I've seen fighting at my high school and middle school but never anything like A&M. It's outrageous you hear about a fight almost everyday or either on the boys side there is shooting and that makes me uncomfortable. I don't know who can be trusted and who can't be so i try to keep to myself at times because i don't want to be mixed up in anything that is bad news. Alabama A&M needs better campus security ASAP!

Academics: Business Management Major – As the curriculum gets harder i have to work harder. The major I chose is so i could do so many things. Getting a job in my major is helpful because later on i can have my own business and be my own boss. The obstacles i have to go through makes me more determined. Some people may it will be harder to find a job in my field but i look past it cause i just look at like if there is will there is a way. So therefore, i WILL find the right WAY.

Academics: Business Central – I attended Alabama A&M because of the Business program, the agricultural campus, amd the professors that work with you and not against you. The business department could not have been in a better place with the jobs that open up and the curriculum. Alabama A&M is worth everything and more.

Local Atmosphere: Home Away from Home – Normal is not the big of a town; however, it is located less than 5 minutes from Huntsville. Huntsville is always raving with something to do. From the US Space and Rocket Center to the Early Works Museum, there is much to do in such a nice town. Southern cooking also gives it that home away from home feeling. What not to love!

Facilities: Sunny Wednesdays – My school is not the most funded university, but they do offer one unique thing "Sunny Wednesdays". Every Wednesday of each week every student on our campus comes to a campus quad, and we have a social gathering for about two hours. There is music, dancing, steeping, and Greek strolling. It attends my most every student, even if you do not even stay on campus.

Guys & Girls: Trendy People in the World – At Alabama A&M everyone has fashion. All day, everyday, my college is one big fashion show. You will see every type of fad at my school from snap-back hats, to polo button downs.

4 College Junior

Academics: Adivsors Really Look Out for Their Students – I attend Alabama A&M University. My major is Agribusiness. The advisors and professors in my department are really helpful. They remind me of deadlines, they inform me of upcoming event, and they also make sure I am aware of any new opportunities dealing with my major.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Campus Life – Experience is good so far. Great events, students, teachers, and campus. Nightlife is the best. AAMU has alot to offer for every type of student.

Overall ExperienceWhat's This?

The A&M experience is excellent! Students who have graduated from A&M often say that there is no place like "The Hill." Sure, students complain about the long financial aid lines, old buildings, and out-of-date resources, but when asked if they would do it all over again and still make A&M their first choice, many have said they would. A&M is truly a "home away from home." It's a great place for students to discover who they are and who they can become. Being a historically black college, A&M has so much history engraved in its roots. After attending A&M, students gain a greater appreciation for their heritage and for those who came before them. Also, out of all the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), A&M has one of the best food science programs. It is one of the only HBCU's that has an accredited program. Most of the students who graduate from A&M with a food science degree are employed and working for major companies like Coca-Cola.

A&M is a great school to attend. Lifelong friendships and connections are made on this campus. Students at A&M are more than classmates—they're family. They encourage and support each other throughout their academic journey.
