Facilities: AAMU's campus is great whether you prefer to party or just admire the beautiful scenery by feeding the ducks at the pond or enjoying the books and computers offered in the library. Campus life is great and there is never a dull moment. the student center has game and movie nights often while also providing students with any information they may need about upcoming events. Homecoming week is great and the step show is tradition and the best and most popular student hangouts are the stones and the quad.

Facilities: our engineering and agricultural facilities are the best and campus life is also great. after dealing with the difficulties of class, there is always something going on around campus to boost your day and motivate you to keep going.i would not change anything about our academic programs or learning facilities if i could because out facilities are great despite their few flaws and the opportunities allowed at AAMU should make everyone who attends proud to be a bulldog.

Local Atmosphere: Huntsville is a sort of small town with not much to do besides campus associated activities. it is overall an ok place to live though in reference to safety because there are rarely any dangerous tragic events around the community.the local attitudes toward students are great; the community is our biggest supporters. the best area of attraction would have to be the galaxy of lights neighborhood show that takes place during christmas time as wellas the beautiful camus of Alabama A&M University and the University of Alabama in Huntsville

Scholarships: There are not a lot of options for scholarships, and some have been pulled on people at the last minute.

Off-Campus Dining: Off campus dining is not within walking distance for the most part.

Majors: Everything is old but overall its okay. Im use to it.

Facilities: The engineering school is pretty state of the art, however i cant speak for the other programs. The facility is very nice and the teachers are easy to work with and are knowledgeable. The administration is a disaster, though.

Facilities: Alabama A & M has one of the nicest public and student wellness centers I've ever seen. It has a full sized weight room, equipped with treadmills and ellipictal machines, full set of dumbbells, and multiple cable machines. It also has a fully operating doctors office, paid through tuition and fees. I don't know what the student facilities look like because I am buried in my school work, but I assume they are state of the art also. The public relations office always sends emails about the many student activities that go on around campus.

Diversity: For the most part, people accept you for who you are. There will be gossiping and foolishness, but that's everywhere you go.

Parking: I don't have a car, but from what I have seen there are many parking spaces available. Some mornings I see an overcrowding, but for the most part it's good.

Nightlife: If you come to this school, Sports vision is the worst club to go to. That's where all the freshmen go. There will be nothing but guys & it's lame. Best clubs to go to are Miami, Greenroom, and Xroads.

Drug Safety: So many people at this school use drugs and drink alcohol but no one is abusing them, well as far as I know. We have campus police everywhere but the security of drugs and alcohol on campus isn't strict whatsoever.

Local Atmosphere: I love where my school is located. A lot of people would say its boring but it's honestly what you make it out to be; having a car can make a world of difference. They have unlimited places to shop and eat at and there are many attractions!

Campus Dining: i rated the dining an F because they give out the same stuff EVERYDAY. There's not much variety at all, unless around holidays. AAMU has two dining halls, and they're both in the most expensive dorms for guys and girls. the dining hall in the girls dorm is the biggest one. they always run out of chicken for chicken sandwiches, and the lines are always long.

Guys & Girls: If you're from California, New York, Georgia, Chicago, or any other state or city that's known for fashion, when you come to Alabama A&M you'll be like "did i just go back in time?" the state itself is behind when it comes to a lot of stuff. the girls here take conceited, shallow, and stuck-up to a whole new level. now not every single girl is like that, but if you see a girl who's stylish, 9 times out of 10 she's probably stuck up. they don't really pay attention to you unless your swagged out or wearing name-brand clothing, i know because i've tested this. if they are paying attention to you then they are probably dissing you or what ur wearing. ppl here smoke smoke A LOT. the girls smoke just as much as the guys do, and drink a lot too. if u drink and/or smoke you'll make friends MUCH faster than a person who doesn't smoke or drink. there's a lot of hood guys here.

Transportation: They have a transit system called Shuttle Bus. it stops running at 6 p.m. and doesn't run on weekends. it's best that you have a car, because if you don't, there's not much you can do

Athletics: Sports at Alabama A&M University could be better than it is now. The workout facility is pint-sized. All the sports share that one gym, except for the football team. Sometimes there be two sports teams in there at once, and when that happens the gym becomes so congested that getting a good workout in becomes difficult. Intramural sports aren't that popular, and when they have games the school does a poor job at promoting them.

Diversity: There is a diversity but not a huge one most students at Alabama A&M are African American.

4 College Freshman

Computers: You have to download some things on the computer in order to do your work.

3 College Senior

Campus Housing: the traditional dorms are not the best but you make the best of it. the cafe food is ok, we have alot of social events brought by differnt organizations on campus... this is a good way to meet new people and socialize, the financial aid process at the begining of the semester can be hectic and employees of the school can give you the run around just to find out information. Overall it is an ok school.

3 College Senior

Academics: my major is psychology and the department is a close knit family with great proffesors who are willing to help you to succeed to the next level in your life.

3 College Senior

Transportation: the buses on campus are convient for geting you to class, and there is a city bus stop right in front of the school if you want to go other places like to shop.

3 College Senior

Academics: There are a few good teachers here that want to see you succeed and most just there because its a job and give you the run arounds when you are trying to find out information.

3 College Senior

Weather: the weather is average here. They cancel classes only if the weather is very severe.

Overall ExperienceWhat's This?

The A&M experience is excellent! Students who have graduated from A&M often say that there is no place like "The Hill." Sure, students complain about the long financial aid lines, old buildings, and out-of-date resources, but when asked if they would do it all over again and still make A&M their first choice, many have said they would. A&M is truly a "home away from home." It's a great place for students to discover who they are and who they can become. Being a historically black college, A&M has so much history engraved in its roots. After attending A&M, students gain a greater appreciation for their heritage and for those who came before them. Also, out of all the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), A&M has one of the best food science programs. It is one of the only HBCU's that has an accredited program. Most of the students who graduate from A&M with a food science degree are employed and working for major companies like Coca-Cola.

A&M is a great school to attend. Lifelong friendships and connections are made on this campus. Students at A&M are more than classmates—they're family. They encourage and support each other throughout their academic journey.
