Campus Resources: I have not had any trouble trying to get papers printed or using the computers for research.

Campus Resources: Honestly, there is nothing unique about this school. The people there could probably care less about any of the students, all they want is their paycheck. The social scene is very boring and there isn't a lot of students that are of younger age. The school doesn't have a nice look like some of the other college in Colorado.

Overall Experience: Trying to Register – When I decided to attend Aims Community College, I was living in Grand Island, NE. I had talked to someone about how to register and I was told that I would have to drive there on the first day of registration. So, I made plans and worked everything out and I was able to make it Greeley, CO. As I made my way in to talk to an adviser, someone told me that you had to make an appointment with one. They said they could not make an exception and I would have to come back in January. By the time I moved there and got settled in, it was to late to register for my classes. I am not stuck going to school in the summer due to the poor communication at Aims Community College.

Academic Experience: Opportunities Given for Help After Graduation – I do notice that the instructors, director, and advisors in the Automotive program offer their help and insight after graduation. They don't just throw you out into the "real world" and expect the best. If there are ever any questions or if we are in need of references or letters of recommendation, they are all quite willing to be there for the students.

Overall Experience: Better Than Most – Aims offers one of the best Automotive program in Colorado and has some of the newest technologies to work with. I've been able to maintain a B average since the beginning. The instructors are very knowledgeble about the subject and have a lot of life experience to back up their instruction. I'd definately recommend the program to others contemplating their ASE Certifications and AAS in Automotive Technologies.

Student Body: Some Socialize but Not Many – Aims consists of a lot people who are extremely busy working full-time or part-time and going to school full-time or part-time so their schedules are quite busy. They do get involved during class-time, but not as much outside of class-time in various clubs and what not because they are too busy with their jobs and school studies. It's actually the kind of environment I thrive in.

Academic Flexibility: I was able to chose the class i wanted because of my ACT score. It was all simple and they will work with you to find the right classes.

Overall Experience: Enjoy the School – I really enjoy going to Aims. I have met some cool people, my instructors are awesome and always there to help if needed. I'm really pleased with my decision to come here.

Overall Experience: Friendly and Helpful Teachers and Staff – I transferred to Aims after receiving a lot of confusion and headaches from another community college. The first time I walked into Aims with my infant daughter the front staff was immediately helpful and attentive. I was soon in an appointment with a adviser signing up for classes. I told her my major, my transfer intent, and that I like to have classes close together. She found my classes within minutes. I have since stuck with Aims, its small class sizes, caring teachers, and friendly staff.

Academic Experience: Teachers Inconsistent – My overall experience at Aims has been positive; however, I feel that some teachers grade on how well they like the student. I had a class last semester that I worked harder then I have ever worked in any other class and I received a "D". I feel it is because I missed class the day I was suppose to present my powerpoint, due to my mother falling and me having to take her to the Emergency Room (which I proved with a doctors note that my teacher required me to get). I had straight "B's" that semester except for her class. After talking to several of the students in her class that were doing much worse than me as far as class points, got a "B" in her class.

I also feel that teachers could do a better job of having their tests reflect what they lecture on in class!

Campus Resources: General Campus – I have found that Aims Community College is the perfect college for me because of it's small size. The Computer Lab is very accessible. They have plenty of computers for students to use. They also have a good variety of reading materials in the library. I love using the database searches when I research papers. This helps find a lot of information that I need. I have yet to be in the Gym but I heard it is good. The main thing that I love is the College Center. Everything a student needs is in that building and I feel them building it helped a lot with navigation and getting the help that is needed by students.

Tuition & Financial Aid: My School's Finacial Aid Process. I have had wonderfull sucess with my school's finacial aid process. I have not came across and difficulty so far with finacial aid. However, the books can be very costly at my school and I do not have any money left over after I pay for all my books. It is very important to research all the scholorships and fincial aid that your school can provide. Be accountable and keep up on your finacial aid status.

Overall Experience: I enjoy my school. I just go there to get my education and I also have made some great friends. I love the teachers and they have really helped me reach my grade goals. I also like the tutoring center at my college. If it wasen't for the help my college provides, I am not sure if I would have the grades I have today.

Academic Experience: I am so happy with being able to choose a variety of teachers.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: The school allows so many groups of activities that it is impossible not to meet new people.

3 College Freshman

Career Services: Lots of Opportunities to Expand – There are many workshops and other opportunities on campus to learn, excel and help with problems you have>

3 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: Working Student – I work full time and am trying to fit in my pre-reqs for nursing. It was easy to fit in classes and still work.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Staff Is Devoted to Student Success – I have had a wonderful experience at Aims with the staff. They help to assure student success with office hours and understanding of the student.

3 College Senior

Career Services: Not Very Involved in After Education – As a community college, job placement is not their highest priority. They are semi helpful in getting you ready for your next schooling levels but rarely have i heard of people getting jobs straight from community college.

3 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Great Price for Your Education – You really can't get a better price than at a community college for your education. For the fact that the education is very basic as it is only a two year college, that works out really well. Especially for students that screw up in the beginging and aren't wasting too much money while they are getting used to how college works.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: Helpful for Getting Started – My school has a great price and setup for students who are getting started into college. It allows for the few screw ups you might make while getting used to becoming an adult and starting your college career. Over all I would have to say my experience with my school has been great.

5 College Freshman

Online Courses: I thought Aims online courses were very easy to follow I love the format
