Campus Resources: I really like all that Aims has to offer. The gym is nice with a decent amount of work out equipment and a really nice basketball court. The library is great and there are a lot of staff there willing to help everyone out. I also like the campus activities, it's just a community college but there are so many ways to get involved.

Student Body: My school consists of parents coming back to school and younger kids who don't really know what they want to do or where they want to go. It is a small environment and the classes are small. It's nice to be in class with a variety of people from different age groups. It is hard sometimes though because a lot of people don't take it very seriously and skip class a lot.

Academic Flexibility: For general classes, you tend you have plenty of options, and returning students get to register first, so you tend to get the class schedule you want. More specialized courses are more difficult, as they are often only offered once every a semester, or even only once every other semester. However, my adviser has been helpful and flexible about elective substitutes.
Between a variety of class times and online classes, I've been able to work my class schedule pretty well around my minimum part time job.

Academic Experience: Eh, most classes haven't been very challenging. I've enjoyed several of my classes, and usually have the help I need. I'm studying Communication Media with a focus on Digital Video Production, so my classes tend to be fairly specialized, which means I'm getting a lot of practical classes, like video editing and computer applications and sound design, but not as many general or deep though classes. I was only required to take intro to psych, lit, math, etc.

Academic Experience: There are some great professors, and some not-so-great ones. The adviser for the Multimedia department would help, but not a ton. I would send detailed emails laying out clear questions, and he would email me back one or two words, forget about sentences. But I've had some professors very involved in their relationship with the students. A media professor has been very helpful and willing to work with me. I've had a couple of professor write excellent academic referrals for me when I applied for a study abroad program.
The college has plenty of activities and stuff to get involved in, but I never have.

Online Courses: Doing online class was great. Had peace and quite.

Student Body: There is lots of diversity at my school. Students vary from recent high school graduates to adults with full time jobs or children. There are lots of clubs for all types of ethnicity, religions even sexuality. No one is judged harsly for the way they look, sound or their personal preferences.

Academic Experience: With class size being so small I feel that I am getting the best curriculum and personal relationship with the professors. Registration was easy and I completed it in no time. Special study options are available and I have some options even if I choose not to use them.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I chose this school because they are willing to do whatever needs to be done for their students to graduate and ultimately transfer to a 4 year college. Transferring credits seems to be nearly effortless.

5 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: I have never had any problems at Aims I enjoy going to class the instructors are always willing to help.

Campus Resources: I'm going to become a welder and the welding building is very nice has lots of space and everything to become a good all around welder and the teachers are very experienced .

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: Everyone is friendly and willing to guide you and everything you need is on campus to help you succeed.

Campus Resources: I myself don't need these to much but I have never had problems finding what I need.

Academic Flexibility: Bad ad advisement in aviation program. Hard to talk to an adviser or get in touch with one. Would not transfer credits from previous education. Looking for money and when they make a mistake you pay for it in various ways.

Tuition & Financial Aid: There aren't a lot of scholarships and financial aid programs available, but what is available really does help. The tuition at Aims isn't even half as expensive as it is at other colleges, but for students who are working only part time or aren't employed at all it can be enough to discourage them from continuing their education. However, the financial aid I received from Aims (a scholarship, grant, and work study) covered my entire tuition. I know a lot of other students aren't as lucky as I was, but the financial aid office is very friendly and always willing to work with students and help them with their options.

Campus Resources: The network at aims was very good. Though it had some occurrences where it was temporarily shut down due to maintenance or weather, it didn't subtract from my outlook on the school's network. Wi-Fi speeds were also great, loading pages very quickly and downloading files even quicker. Printing was mildly frustrating for you were only allowed one color print a day and fees were due if one was to go over that limit.

Campus Resources: Aims has an excellent arsenal of Campus resources, the library and computer labs were always available and functional. Computers in the computer lab were up to date running windows 7 and OSX Mountain Lion. I was very impressed with the resources I had the pleasure of utilizing.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Aims is a great school, however, I would not personally wish to seek a degree from Aims. The campus life is somewhat non-existnet as well, yet some interesting campus activites offset this. Class sizes and class room tools were excellent. The instructors were also great, I could not complain about any of the instructors I had. All problems set aside I learned an immense amount from Aims and would recommend it to any one seeking to get their general college classes out the way. Aims is a cost effective and excellent choice.

2 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: The flexibility isn't too customize, but at least you get the standard choice of what times your classes are.

3 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: The education is not top of the line, but the tuition is affordable & sometimes that's mostly what matters.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I don't have a detailed resource on this, but everything gets done.

2 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Great resource although access to some resources are limited at times.
