Academic Flexibility: School Experience – My experience at school has been great so far. The class sizes are good as well as the flexible schedule

Academic Experience: Web Design/Development – A new A.A.S degree available at Aims. This unique degree combines graphic design and web design into one degree that is practical in the real world. The work load is heavy so plan on plenty of computer time at home.

Campus Resources: Instructors Want You to Succeed! The instructors at Aims want you to succeed. If you do the work and ask for help, instructors will do what they can to help you meet your goals. Tutors and study groups are always available.

Academic Flexibility: I really enjoy aims for the small class sizes and passionate teachers, over all it has been a really great experience. However, the down side to aims is that there are bad teachers and since there are so few different classes of each section, sometimes you get stuck with the bad teachers. Also, trying to get financial aid can sometimes be a nightmare; the financial aid office is always backed up because they do not have enough help in their office.

Academic Flexibility: Flexibility of Classes – Aims Community College provides great times on the classes you want. You can easily breeze through there class schedules and find exactly what time would be appropirate to you.

Career Services: Career Center – When applied at Aims Community College the college lets you know about all the possible help available. Especially the Career Center which can help you think of possible careers you want, to what certain careers pay, to what positions are avaliable.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Slow but Works – Have definitely been frustrated with how long they take to turn on and boot up, but that is to be expected. Was impressed that between Summer and Fall Semester they upgraded to new Windows program. Much appreciated.

Academic Experience: Great Educators – A surprisingly tough academic schedule for a community college. Have had wonderful experiences in the Art and English department at the Loveland campus.

Campus Resources: Good Location – The location in a non-college town makes it bearable to go to class, but not have to deal with the college town hassles such as overcrowding and slow pace like the nearest college town to us.

College Junior

Career Services: Alumni Network and Job Prospect – the quality at the school is good, because they have and almuni that helps the community by doing fund raisers. and the job prospect is once you graduate the school helps the graduate find a job.

College Junior

Campus Resources: Around Campus – there is always someting going on at the school such as student awarenesses, and the gym is always open to students. the student center is a great place to students to go when they have homework and assignments to due, because they have mulitple computers and faculty to help in different topics suc.h as writing, reading, and math; also many other courses

College Junior

Online Courses: Online Coursed and Inclass – i never have taken an online college course because i feel that i would get distracted and fall behind in the course then who would i ask for help when needed it.. i like to be in the class, and have that one on one expericence with the instructor. the instuctor's really encouraged us to ask questions, and for us to interact with eachother on projecta and outside class work.
i really enjoy the inclass sessions.

College Junior

Campus Resources: Cool Campus – Being a new college student I was worried about learning the campus. When I got on the campus I found that it was very well set up and people were very helpful when it comes to helping. I also love that the school tries to involve all the students in activities. I really like that there is so much to do on campus. This the wide diversity it makes it easy to learn about other countries.

College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Aim for a Great Experiance – All of the instructors that I have encountered have been great and they try to connect with every one of their students so that we get the best experience at the college. The only negative experience would be the attitude that I received from the financial aid office.

Online Courses: Going Back – I am not taking on line classes but i just started to go back to school. I am nervous but will make it.

College Sophomore

Online Courses: Online Course – I have no experience w/ online course and therefore can give no opinion

College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I think my specific major is amazing and am incredibly grateful to be part of the program

College Sophomore

Campus Resources: this institution is one of very few that offer the opportunity for an applies science degree as a rotorcraft pilot

Student Body: Normal for Loveland – The diversity at the Loveland campus is slightly lacking, but that is normal for Loveland. The majority of the students are white, but are very accepting of any other culturally or ethnically different students that do attend. The student body as a whole is very friendly and willing to help one another learn and achieve their goals.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I feel that financial aid does the best that they are able to do as of right now. However they seem to be severely understaffed and are unable to make appointments or return phone calls in a reasonable amount of time. It is difficult to talk to someone in the financial aid office at any time of the day because they are so backed up they do not have the time to communicate properly with the students.

College Sophomore

Career Services: Career Center – I know that I may be in need of their cervice as I get closer to graduation. I do hope I find the sevice useful and helpfull. As for now the counselor that I have been with is very informative and helps me stay on task with things i ned to complete prior to enrolling in nursing.

Student Body: Typical Student – Iwould say there is no typical student. There is by far more younger students than there are older. I am a non-traditional student myself, but that does not seem to make any diffenece in class. There are still many of us. The younger students do tend to hang out with eachother and seem more comfortable with that.

5 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: Bio 202 – I am having a difficult time with the teaching, or should I say lack there of, with regards to my instructor. she by far is the worstinsttrucor that I hav ever had. She simply reads to us in class. I feel I would have been just as well taking an online course. I am receiving an A+ in the course, no thanks to me teaching myself. The other class I have taken at Aims have been very good as well as the instructors. I will not take another course from my current instructor.

3 College Student

Student Body: Happy Friends – The student body is in general, while being mostly older, very friendly. Students enjoy talking with each other and assisting each other, and mild, friendly jesting occurs frequently.

4 College Student

Academic Flexibility: Simple and Fun – The faculty at AIMS is very ready and willing to help any and all students and they do everything the can to simplify the process.
