Student Body: The student body at my school are varied. We have all racial types and ages.i would say more Hispanic and white than any other. some east Indian and black as well. the overall economy of the student body body is i would say middle class and lower. Greeley Co. is not a wealthy area, and the overall acceptance of the group is moderate i would say. age wise i would say there mostly young people.

Academic Flexibility: First College Experience – I chose this school because it was the same school my brother attended last year before he moved to Germany for the navy. I enjoy the classes so far , some of the required classes don't make sense and the advisers in my college seem less educated than they should be. but i do research on the information myself and I feel confident this is where i want to be to graduate.

Academic Experience: Emt Paramedic Certificate – Its been a great experience so far. Im doing all my prerequisite classes its been tough because i haven't been to school in over 10 years. The school staff has been helpful though, also there are a few hoops to jump through but i am hopeful to complete the courses . My financial aid is a serious issue tho and I am hoping to get around that.

Academic Experience: Class Registration – I beleive that Aims is very helpful in helping students register for classes each semester. The counslers go based off of our scheduals they are very helpful in explaining the degrees and the required courses.

Campus Resources: Campus Life – Some unique things at the Aims campus are that the enviroment is very freindly everyone gets the oppurtunity to talk to other students in the student lounge it seems very safe and the staff is very friendly it makes me want to spend more time here!

Tuition & Financial Aid: You Can Do It. All the headaches and the rushes i ad to go throught was way worth it. The education i am getting is great and the atmosphere at AIMS is awesome. I dont mind spending money on school i know it is to get a better future. Recieving financial aid was time consuming but worth it. I recommend starting your financial aid paper work and planning a year or even more if possible before you plan to go to college. It will give you more time to gather up any documents needed and make any changes if you have to. This will save you a lot headaches and you will be all ready to go. Check deadlines and be up to date on the website www.AIMS.edu or go to the college and ask or call. AIMS has a My Payment Plan opportunity that s really helpfull if you are not getting financial aid help ECT. They give you up to 3 or 4 months to pay your ammount for the semester in payments. It really helps. I recieves financial aid but i looked into this because i was not sure i was goin to get the help. I was making plans just incase.

Career Services: Career Center – Great service for the student to use with knowledgeable staff

Tuition & Financial Aid: Seem to be problems with some students and other have a much simpler time being processed.

Career Services: Job Prospects – I completed the x-ray program at this school 5 years ago, and during my internship was offered a job. So I feel the job prospects are great! The only reason I am going back to school is to further my education in the field of sonography

Tuition & Financial Aid: I have actually never been able to receive financial aid, although I'm a single homeowner and planning on quitting my job to continue with school. Therefore I will definitely need financial aid. I have talked to one person in the financial aid office, and she was very helpful! I also believe I'm getting my money's worth, and the instructors are great.

Online Courses: Online Class – I love my online class, it's laid perfectly and it's easy to get things done.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Work Study Funds – The work study process took over a month to submit everything and the office didnt get back to me in a timely manner. After I was accepted for my position, my allowance was cut in half.

Career Services: Post Grad Services – Honestly I am personally unaware of these services, and have not reached out to them. I have heard they are there, and I am sure as every other service at Aims, it is superb :)

Student Body: At my first experience at Aims I was terrified of coming to school again. At the new student orientation the student body eased my fears almost completely. The student body here at Aims is a very diverse group. It is compromised of young and old, different sexual orientations, different religions, and include parents!! They create an excellent face to the school showing that anyone can do this if they put their mind to it. They are all very nice and welcoming, and are very active on the school campus and are a good support system.

Campus Resources: The computer labs in the college center and fantastic. The internet speed keeps up with anything you need to do on the internet and there are often available computers. The only thing I could provide as a suggestion would be adding an accessible computer lab in the Westview building.

Overall Experience: The reason I appreciate my school the most is because of it's diversity in the student population. Because Aims is a community college it accepts students of all types. There are many older students coming back to finish an education, parents looking to better their future, and high school graduates testing the waters of further education.
I like how there is a place for everyone at Aims. There are not only clubs for the younger students, but also sponsored family nights. It is an overall good experience.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Helpful People – the financial aid department at aims is amazing, I have never called and not been connected with a live person and my emails are answered promptly. I always feel informed and if I do have questions they are answered right away and thoroughly.

Overall Experience: Best School Ever – I am very happy I decided to attend Aims. From the very first time I stepped in the door I felt welcomed. I feel like I'm a person here, not just a number or another face in the crowd. I love my professors, the classes are great and I am doing well. I beleive has been the reason for my success!

Academic Experience: At this time i am just getting my basics completed so i can transfer to a university. My intended area of study for the future is Molecular Biology, which will have more unique aspects than what i am doing now.

2 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: They are not very speedy with the financial aid process and frequently lose papers I have sent in. If i have to go through the same mess i did when i first applied to AIMS i would not have applied in the first place.

3 College Student

Online Courses: I have not taken any online. I am afraid it will be more work.

4 College Student

Campus Resources: Great College – Aims is wonderful all around and the staff is helpful.

Online Courses: Having a Great Attitude Goes a Long Way. I am currently in the welding program, and was a bit nervous about learning something I had no previous experience doing. over the last couple semesters working in the shop I have seen that the students that have more positive attitudes are the ones that are excelling in our classes.

Online Courses: Will See What She Says – Taking my first online class, Women's Studies. Just turned in my first paper, "Am I a Feminist?" that we are were assigned. I hope that my more conservative view will not clash with her liberalism enough so that she will ding my grade. Having never met her, I hope she is a more well-rounded person than that.

Academic Experience: Happy With Professors, Atmosphere to Be Desired – Can't believe how capable and knowledgeable all the professors I've had are. They really know what they are talking about. But the students, for the most part not all of them, just do not take pride in their appearance, and I get sick of having to walk through all the disgusting smoking to get into the front door. Gross!
