Career Services: The post-grad services are fine for any student that does not intend on furthering his or her education.

Academic Flexibility: It can be a bit difficult to get a schedule you prefer. There are not many teachers in some departments as needed so some classes and class times are limited.

Academic Experience: I'm taking general studies right now and it's alright. I do, however, feel thatI haven't gotten to any of the interesting and fun classes as of now.

Academic Experience: General Studies professors have genuine interest in class. They follow their curriculums quite well and don't put heavy workloads on their students. They do expect a lot of you as far as class participation which is understandable

3 College Senior

Student Body: AikenTechnical College is pretty diverse. It is easy to fit in.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: The teachers are great. Most are willing to work with you outside of class when necessary if you need the extra help. The tuition is really affordable also.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The in district tuition is more than fair, though book prices are high. It is failry easy to find used books to help with this cost though.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: I was nervouse taking an online course, but i have always exceled in math, so I gave it a shot. It is set up very nicely, with a calender that explains when all work is due.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: There are PC's in every theory room that requires writing, they have easy to access wireless and printing in every room. On the occasions that they printer in the theory rooms are down there is a printer that can be used in the enrollment center.

The instructors have been friendly and informative.

Student Body: The student body at Aiken Technical College is very diversity. The students are friendly and helpful. Aiken Technical College's student are determine and studious.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: The computer network is acceptable at the school. There are computer labs available at the school, however, sometimes the printers may not work and if they do work, there is a charge for using the printer.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: The resources at the school are great. There are resources available to the students that will help with his or her academics such as the writing lab. The school also has a recreational department for the students to engage in sports doing the semester which I did not know that tech schools offer such recreational activities.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: I think Aiken Tech is a great school if someone would like to receive their Associate's Degree in Nursing. When I applied to the school most of my sciences were able to transfer as long as they were taken within 10 years. The campus is nice and kept clean. The teachers are very helpful with assignments and are willing to explain in details if someone does not understand the assignment. So far, I am very please with the school.

Online Courses: They are actually pretty easy the school uses blackboard which is a pretty easy tool to use for online classes.

5 College Junior

Student Body: a lot of people who are exactly like me. Mother's, hard workers, and students.

5 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Financial Aid covers over half the cost. The tuition is not very expensive. Aiken tech is becoming more organized.

4 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: There needs to be a FAQ page for Financial Aid or have a telephone number that does not go straight to voice mail that I have never gotten a call back from. A simple how to page would be nice.

3 College Senior

Online Courses: The online course are good. The instructions are not standard fromn one class to the next on how to submit work. The instructors think you should know how to and get frustrated and with the students.

3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: Example: Last semester a new professor did not explain how or where to find how the class was set up for the online portion. Just expected you to know. As a new student I and many others in the classs were very frustrated for the first month trying to figure our how to submit the work needed for the class.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: The campus has the essentials needed for acquiring a degree. The extra's consist of a softball team, basketball team, gym (not sure if any student can access it or athletes only), different sites on and around the campus, and its conveniently located.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition is very low. My financial aid covered over half of the tuition. They offer easy payment plans with reasonable costs. They also offer many different links and information for scholarships and grants.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I chose ATC, because it is close to home, flexible schedule, and very low admission costs. The faculty and staff are very helpful and care about the students grades and learning path. I would definitely recommend anyone for ATC if they have the preferred degree of interest.
