AIB Business Student Reviews

Tuition & Financial Aid: It's a bit pricey but I personally feel it is a great school, they really do a good job putting the students first along with their education. I am meeting with a financial adviser that has helped me greatly in finding financial coverage with grants, scholarships, and of course fasfa. I am meeting with them again to find coverage this week to sit with an AIB financial adviser to complete the fasfa and find coverage without a co-signer which I myself have been having a rough time doing this on my own. They have helped me with financial support and advice every step of the way!

Facilities: I feel that AIB does a good job taking care of the facilities, it is school of strictly business so you won't find much for performing arts and science. The premises is taken care of thoroughly and it has modern appearance. There is not a lunchroom but you will see to it that the diner is a nice place to grab a quick lunch if needed. I sometime found myself grabbing breakfast there, and it is unique with a throwback look of a classic diner. It has a nice spot to meet with fellow students to hang out and shoot a game of pool, rent movies, play ping pong or catch a game on the television in the student lounge. Great gym, pool, exercise facilities, and there sports programs are expanding greatly. Overall they do a good job to accommodate the students and make excellent attempt to ensure that students are having a good time.

Student Body: It is diverse, I personally am a people person and can manage to get along with everyone. Everyone seems to be very friendly and rounded. I feel that everyone acts as an adult and have a business mentality. We all share the same interest which is terrific.

Academic Flexibility: I was able to work and go to traditional classroom everyday the hours work well with the job world, it is attainable to do both. I have switched to an all online student to better sustain myself financially so that I can work two jobs, and I have done this for slightly less than a year now. I have not encountered any issues, as an online student I feel that it is the most flexible. I feel that I learn more and communicate even more with my professors than in the classroom and most taught conversation can be relocated. To put things in a simpler context information can always be accessed again because most lecture and teaching is found in the texts of conversations, books, discussions, and emails which is wonderful if you cannot recall information. Technology itself makes flexibility all the more plausible!

Career Services: All staff is very helpful, I have not had a single experience that has been anything less than great. Staff is willing to do everything from helping students find jobs, reviewing a students resume, tutoring for free, sitting down one on one with financial adviser to apply for financial aid so that students can get all the coverage that they need. They help with finding scholarships and grants. I am sure I could continue to go on and on, but I personally have had an outstanding experience with AIB and all the comments I have made have been based entirely from personal experience.
