Academics: I am going to attend adventist university of health sciences and I have heard nothing but good things about this school. Program is an intense program where studying multiple hours is required.

4 College Senior

Campus Dining: The food at NESS is amazing and its good portion for the price
but its the only place you can get food.
i'd be nice to have other options
but what they do have are always top notch, the staff is awesome and Jared is an amazing chef. You can tell when he prepared your food ^_^

3 College Senior

Transportation: The drivers try their best but run time from the dorm to the campus runs about half an hour on regular days.
walking to campus only takes 15 min.
i'd be nice to have a quicker run time or some sort of student discount or pass for the parking garage

4 College Senior

Nightlife: For a health sciences school there is no partying or drinking and most students spend their time in their rooms.
the most excitement comes when you order pizza
I'd be nice if there were more events, But it's understandable

3 College Student

Parking: the parking is pretty far but the good side is they have shuttle or bus that runs every 10 minutes.

3 College Junior

Computers: The computers are not that bad. The only problem is that the printer at the co-op is sometimes out of service so I usually have to walk to the library. Then last time I went to use the scanner and it wasn't working either. But those are minor technical difficulties.

4 College Sophomore

Diversity: There are many races and backgrounds in this University. This keeps the opinions and thoughts of others from both ends of the spectrum. It gives you alternate ways of learning and thinking ti solve problems and gain knowledge from one another.

4 College Sophomore

Weather: During the summer months it's very hot here in Florida and the rain is an everyday thing. Once September comes it cools down and its amazing to be outside studying not having to worry about being cold or too hot.

1 College Sophomore

Scholarships: The counselor didn't give me any options besides taking out a huge loan that I may not be able to pay back.

4 College Freshman

Facilities: The facilities are great and accessible to everyone.

5 College Freshman

Diversity: It has people from the Caribbean, the Philippines, Africa, and all over the world.

4 College Freshman

Transportation: She shuttles are free and transport the students and staff from the university, dorms, and parking lot.

5 College Student

Weather: Campus weather is always sunny and humid. Shorts and shirts are great to wear because it rarely ever gets cold, even in winter. It may rain but it's still hot.

3 College Student

Computers: The computer system is great because Adventist works with the hospital so they have to have good network and wireless access. But having your own computer is nice.

3 College Student

Local Atmosphere: Orlando has plenty of attractions and things to do. People from all over come to Orlando just for events. Everyone's usually nice but you just go and do what you need too. Very busy city so always count on traffic.

3 College Student

Off-Campus Dining: There are plenty of places to eat, from seafood to Japanese. It may not be super close to the school but its definitely in driving distance. Student discounts are a plus and the food cost really just depends on the restaurant you choose.

College Junior

Greek Life: From what I know there isn't really a Greek life int he school at all.

College Junior

Nightlife: There is no nightlife. Only classes and it's really quiet.

2 College Junior

Transportation: I say it is average. It takes me 45 minutes to get to school and 45 minutes to go back home. I only take one class most of the time. I live 20 miles away from the school. Once I get to the parking lot you have to take a shuttle. Sometimes the driver waits for the whole bus to get filled up which sometimes ends up making you late for school. Sometimes it takes more than 5 minutes for the bus to pick up up as well.

4 College Junior

Facilities: The library is great. Everyone working there is always around to offer help and help out as well. Whether it be using the computer, printing something out, or looking for books.

4 Recent Alumnus

Off-Campus Dining: Have many options. Many chain restaurants in tye area as well as small indepedent places not too far.

3 Recent Alumnus

Parking: Parking is off campus so you have to ride a shuttle to campus. But its not far. Parking lot fills quickly but you can always find a spot.

Recent Alumnus

Greek Life: No greek life. Very small university, but a few program groups.

3 Recent Alumnus

Campus Dining: Only one cafe, but the foof is decent. Plus there are off campus cafe's and we get discounts at the hospital cafeteria.

1 College Senior

Parking: Have to come at least 30 minutes before class starts and the shuttles take a while to get there.
