4 College Sophomore

Academics: My major is Sports Management. So far I have had a really good experience with it. My advisor is a great person for connections and helps me a lot.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: I would say all the academics are good. Most professors are cool except a few but you are always going to have a few that don't fit in. Registration is easy to understand. Free tutoring if you need help in any subject.

3 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: It is small so you can get anywhere within ten minutes. I just know there are some creeps that are willing to do some crazy things though.

Scholarships: I received a good amount but I just don't have the money to pay for the uncovered amount

4 College Junior

Facilities: The sports facilities at Adrian are some of the best in the conference. It is impressive that we have an ice arena on campus for the hockey and skating teams as well as for the public.

4 College Junior

Facilities: Many people are involved in frats or sororities on campus. If they are not involved in that then they are probably on a sports team or on an organization committee. The student center (Caine) is a great hangout place especially now that we have a Starbucks.

3 College Junior

Campus Strictness: Campus safety does their best to control and limit campus violence. The RA's or resident assistants also help to keep the noise down at all times for those who are studying.

5 College Junior

Athletics: Adrian's school spirit is phenomenal.

5 College Senior

Scholarships: Although Adrian has a private college price tag the scholarships and grants that are offered bring the price down to around the same as a state college. Financial aid in itself is a large pain to deal with here though.

Nightlife: Adrian is a small town and thus there isn't very much to do. The is one genuine nightclub however it is a mess. The city is beginning to have some vibrant nightlife though. I think five or so new bars opened downtown and a pool-hall was also just opened. There are a number of frat parties as well as apartment parties right on campus though. These happen almost nightly.

Campus Housing: The housing at Adrian College is okay at best. Because the campus is small distance to classes is not a huge deal. However the internet coverage is spotty and the lack of air conditioning in general housing is not ideal. During the winter you would still need a window open. Apartment and Pellowe Suite housing is great though.

Majors: The majors at Adrian College are pretty good. I love the Criminal Justice program. It is a more broad program so that i can do more with the degree. The work load is not that bad in comparrison to the credits for the class. There are numerous internships that I could get from places around the school.

2 College Junior

Campus Strictness: The school is not that strict with the students drinking as long as they are not being obnoxious or have the alcohol in a labeled container

1 College Junior

Campus Dining: The food on campus is a very low quality, they also have a very small variety at the school. The dining hall is only open until 8:00 pm so you can not have a later dinner. Sometimes the food is cold, and just not good.

1 College Junior

Computers: The computers have the right programs that students need, but there is very few of them, and most of the places with computers are locked at about 8:00 pm. The wireless connection is almost non-existent on the entire campus. The printers always break down as well. A lot of times the wired connection doesnt even work.

1 College Junior

Nightlife: There is nothing to really do in the city of Adrian to begin with. There are only two bars in the town, and only one club, but it is very small. There aren;t many parties on campus at all.

1 College Senior

Nightlife: Very few bars are available by campus, but campus is not too far from big cities. If you are going out near campus, safety is available to drive on designated nights, but if you go to the city you need to find a designated driver.

2 College Senior

Computers: Printers are always breaking, and wireless is terrible.

2 College Sophomore

Parking: it's insane that when you can't find a spot in the parking lot you can't park on the streets with out getting tickets

4 College Freshman

Facilities: The student life is great. The people are nice the athletic centers are down right gorgeous and so lovely to play on it makes me proud to say I'm an Adrian Bulldog.

Scholarships: Applying for financial aid on the FAFSA was no problem. However, the problem was Adrian decided I had to first complete a series of tax verification documents. This was a hassle because I had to order my taxes as well as my fathers and have them sent to the school. After it was all finished and reviewed, I received a decent amount of financial aid.

Off-Campus Dining: Adrian has many restaurants throughout the minutes from town. Most of which are 5 minutes from campus. We love going to the various eateries on the strip. My favorite is Red Lobster because they serve wonderful seafood with a wide array of dishes.

Off-Campus Housing: Off-campus housing is easy to find in Adrian. We have a wide selection of apartments in the area within a 5 mile radius from the campus. They have large parking lots and the costs are actually comparable to on-campus housing.
