3 College Freshman

Academics: Being a biology major in the dental program is tough, but not impossible. Just as long as you put in a good amount of effort and don't completely slack off, you'll be fine. The workload is not bad at all, just commit to a couple of hours each day reading that textbook.

Academics: The academics here are not bad at all. Some teachers are tough, some are easy. Some classes you learn nothing, some classes are mind-blowing. Overall, the academics are not bad as long as you put in the effort to aggressively strive to add to your own knowledge. Everyone studies at the library and most people with tough professor try their best to not totally fail and so they spend a lot of time in the library.

Off-Campus Dining: The off campus dining consists of fast food restaurants such as burger king, wendy's, taco bell, and white castle. They are all pretty consistent and cheap but if you are looking for high quality food, you're out of luck.

3 College Freshman

Parking: The parking is not bad but has been worse because we care currently doing construction on one of the biggest parking lots in school. This makes it hard for commuters to find a spot after 10 o'clock AM. The parking lots are all pretty close to the classes and all residents must park their cars on the parking lot in the Garden City pool down the street. It doesn't sound so bad, but those cold winter nights really get to you.

Athletics: The only big teams on campus include girls lacrosse, boys soccer, and boys basketball. We are no longer division 1 in any sport and for this reason, our school spirit has gone down. Many people attend the home opener, but after that, nobody really goes to the home games anymore. It is sad to see such low fan support, low school spirit, and low student involvement in more sporting events.

Weather: Weather only affects the clothes I wear and nothing else.

College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: I'm not from around the area and don't know too much of it.

College Freshman

Nightlife: I'm not a party person nor am I a night owl. I wouldn't know.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: The dorms can be pricy but you do get what you're paying for.

Campus Strictness: The more severe cases are handled on the spot but smaller offenses can be given off with a warning.

College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I wouldn't be able to tell you from my experience.

5 College Freshman

Facilities: It's great. We have a dry campus and there's always something for you to do or a place for you to go.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: "random" verification is a pain in the butt. Just keep going back and forth between sending in more data and receiving it.

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: I feel safe and my Parent feels safe leaving me alone here.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: I wish we had a football team, but they were banned from having one from a past incident.

5 College Freshman

Computers: They all work and are modern. There's no problems with using any single one on campus.

College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: I don't eat of campus too much except maybe the occasional order out.

4 College Freshman

Academics: The other students look at me like I'm Mad when I tell them that I'm going for a physics and an engineering major

4 College Freshman

Academics: The university is mostly more nursing majors, I believe. There's also 69% of the students are females on campus.

5 College Freshman

Computers: WIFI everywhere. Computers in every building make it easy to check e-mail really quickly if you're in a rush.

5 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: There are many places around town you can go to at night or in the morning. The good thing about Adelphi is that it's in Garden city but other towns are just within reach so it's not too difficult to find a good place to eat.

College Freshman

Campus Strictness: I know that they stay true to their policies, and honestly it's for the best that they do. It makes room for a more positive atmosphere.

College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I only researched off-campus housing once, but it seemed pretty good.

4 College Freshman

Campus Dining: prices are not the best. i only wish they had healthier options besides the salad bar. the melt shop is the best place to go !

5 College Freshman

Academics: The music program is the bomb. Its rather small but it just makes it that much more like a family. You feel like you belong there. It's like an exclusive club almost because it's small but everyone gets along great.
