3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: Its nice but the party house get in the way sometimes and having many poeple you dont like pay rent is less then fun..

3 College Freshman

Drug Safety: Many kids smoke in genreal, so weed is commonly smoked wihtout knowing. But the majority of students dont do that on campus

4 College Freshman

Weather: I enjoy the fall and cold so I really enjoy this school

College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: I do not live on campus or anywhere near as I am an online student living in Japan.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: My degree program requires an intensive internship. I have not begun to complete this yet, but I am excited to do so as it will entail putting my knowledge into action in a supervised environment. This is an incredibly important piece of educating counselors to provide effective therapy.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: The accessibility of my program being a military spouse living overseas is unbeatable and cost effective for an online program. There were not many options online for my degree program and Adams State exceeds my expectations all the time.

3 College Sophomore

Majors: The process of getting into my Clinical Mental Health Counseling masters program was not complicated. Adams State Advisers were very helpful and the admissions process is not dead lined making it easy to complete while I was moving to a foreign country.

College Sophomore

Transportation: I am an online-plus student living away from campus and local transportation doesn't apply to me.

3 College Senior

Off-Campus Dining: The dining options off campus are good, and cheap. There's not a huge variety of restaurants but the ones that are around are decent. Campus Cafe is a local favorite.

3 College Senior

Weather: I enjoy the weather because I know when it's cold that means I can go snowboarding. The snow does not stick so it's very easy to get around. There are high winds in the Spring.

3 College Senior

Health & Safety: There are people around to help you when needed. In the dorm/ on campus apartments they do health and wellness checks.

3 College Senior

Nightlife: Alamosa is a small town, and most of the students who attend are athletes. Many athletes have dry season so there are not many parties that go on except for occasionally on the weekend. There are a few bars in Alamosa, but one must be 21 to get in.

5 College Senior

Academics: A+ because the professors just make you want to learn more

5 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: A+ because I love every near restaurants that are around campus.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: B+ because sometime the staff aren't that strict with the students.

5 College Sophomore

Academics: A+ because I think the academics offered here is very good.

4 College Sophomore

Computers: A because sometimes it goes down and sometime the wifi isn't that good.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: A because it is such a great University and the professors are knowledgeable.

3 College Junior

Nightlife: House parties are the best thing to go to but the are few and far between

4 College Junior

Guys & Girls: Most of the student population are current or former athletes

5 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: The local atmosphere in this town is awesome. I love how the people are so friendly and down right nice. The most popular places out here are The Dunes and the Hotsprings. If you want a good work out then you will want to go to the Dunes and walk or run up the steep sand dunes. If you are sore but want to hang out with alot of people, then the Hotsprings are awesome, especially for the college kids.

5 College Sophomore

Nightlife: One of the biggest things that alot of students tend to do would be to hang out at the hotsprings. What better place to be in the cold surrounded by mountains but in a pool size jacuzzi? Not really any kind of house parties but like kick backs where the scene is really mellow.

5 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: Doesn't seem like the drug scene is really big out here. Alot of the students here tend to set higher standards for themselves. I would say that drinking would take a much more popular activity but more of a kick back type of scene instead of just getting drunk.

4 College Freshman

Parking: The school has a lot of parking the only problem is some of the lots are far away from the dorms
