Local Atmosphere: Alamosa Is a Neat Town – Alamosa is mostly a small town but it is fun. There is shopping and some local attractions. There is also a lot of really pretty scenery.

Academics: Like Them! So far the professors have been really nice and easy to contact.

Academics: REAP Is Good for Me! I do everything through their distance degree program, so far, so good! I haven't got in to classes yet but they are so helpful helping us find scholarships, answering questions, anything you can imagine! I love it and I didn't have to move to get it done!

Transportation: You Can Walk Almost Anywhere – This is a good school for biking and walking. You can get almost everywhere on foot or by bike. It is however,a good idea to have a car because somethings can be a little far away and it gets really cold in the winter. The parking permits are included in the fees that you pay for your tuition so you can just go pick one up if you want. It really doesn't take too much gas to get around town either but it does to get out of it. There is also no public transportation. There is a gray hound bus that you can take to go to Denver though.

Off-Campus Dining: Not Too Much Variety – Their are quite a few restaurants around campus but most of them are Mexican restaurants and don't serve real Mexican food. The rest of the restaurants are Chinese and are okay. Chili's is pretty good though and so is the tortilla company. The tortilla company is like Chipotle but ways cheaper and way better.

Scholarships: Process Could Have Been Better – I didn't begin to receive the amount of financial aid that I needed until the end of my second or third year. This was pretty much due to the fact that I didn't know how to get it. I had to figure out who to talk to in order to get the scholarships and even Pell grants that I needed. I have always had a 3.0 and couldn't understand why I couldn't get any scholarships for it when I worked so hard. Now that I know who to talk to and what I need to do I get a decent amount of financial aid.

Drug Safety: Very Safe Campus – The drug use on campus is very low and the safety is very high. They take things like this very seriously and make it safe for everyone and minimize drug use.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Housing on Campus – The campus housing has improved. They renovated the dorms and they are much nicer than before.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: La Mesa Dining Hall – The food on campus is okay. Some nights are better than others. Overall I enjoy eating on campus. They have other options on campus that are different from the cafeteria.

4 Recent Alumnus

Scholarships: Very Low at Our Cumps – the cumps have little amount of budget so student can not recreated their self more and more

4 Recent Alumnus

Nightlife: It Is Very Good – all was at Friday and Sunday every student are going to night club to dance and make others

4 Recent Alumnus

Diversity: I Poor Christian Annd Democratic – there are same same student who are reflect bad habit in campus so ho can avoid it

3 College Freshman

Parking: they have bulid a lot of new parking lots on campus but need more

2 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: Small Town School – the campus is getting a new make over and hopefully it doesnt affect tuition but builds a better learning atmosphere :)

3 College Freshman

Parking: Since its a small campus there are a fair amount of parking spots. Parking isn't a nightmare at all.

3 College Freshman

Health & Safety: Really Safe – Since we have a small and close campus I have never felt unsafe at all. The campus police is always on patrol and the actual cops are not too far away either.

3 College Freshman

Transportation: Having Your Own Car – Since the campus at Adam State College is so small everything is within walking distance. Though to get anywhere else in town walking would take quiet awhile so usually people try and car pool as much as they can.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: In Adams State College the off-campus housing is sometimes very rare due to Adams being in a small town. However there is a great view of natural wildlife. You will wake up sometimes with many deer just walking around. Cost is not as much as you would think but as for safety sometimes there are break in but rarely.

2 College Freshman

Scholarships: There are very few scholarships offered school specific. It's difficult to research other scholarships on line and apply. Mostly going with federal student aid and loans.

2 College Freshman

Weather: Snow and Extreme Cold – The cold and snow don't really affect getting to classes. The classes aren't cancelled, the campus is pretty small and easy to get to yours classes regardless of the weather. The weather just makes it difficult to train outdoors when you're an athlete. The school however has a fantastic indoor training facility.

3 College Freshman

Computers: Wireless Access – We are very fortunate as students to have wireless throughout the campus. We can readily access our computer homework and have the network assistance if we run into any problems.

4 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: Social Life. Social life at Adams State College is exciting, always meeting new people, friendly people from many different places.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: THE FOOD – I love to eat, very happy with the meals, the staff, the selection at Adams State College.

4 College Sophomore

Computers: Current, up to Date. The computer labs, printing on campus, network reliability and speed, wireless access, and/or the need for a personal computer or printer at Adams State College is never a problem.

3 College Freshman

Nightlife: We only have two clubs, The Purple Pig and Trujillos. Even then they aren't fun so people usually go to house parties.
