Online Courses: the online courses are the best

4 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I am currently taking online courses and I can not tell you enough how convenient these classes are. There isn't a blocked schedule, you take the class when you need to. Right now I am taking two summer classes and they have been a mix of fun and challenging. A week in the class is a module, for summer classes you have two modules a week because of the shorter term. The module starts with the reading and the slide show and presentation from the instructor. After the reading, you might be asked to read a chapter of the textbook. Then on to the discussion with the class. The discussion is a big part of the class. Though the discussion is heavy, it doesn't really compare to face to face connections. It is more difficult to make a friend in class. But for those shy student who don't speak up as much as they should, this can be a lot more comfortable to come up with really elaborate discussion points and to just add to the conversation. After the discussion, you are assigned your homework/assignment/project. Then when that is over you take the quiz at the end of the module. Exams depends on the instructor. Currently my exams are frequent.

4 College Junior

Online Courses: Some classes are GED and won't apply to my future.

3 College Student

Online Courses: Trying to upload my homework to the teacher was a hassle but other then that the reading and learning material was great

Online Courses: Every class I've taken has been online - even the art ones. The system is wonderful, the instructors are (mostly) engaged in the discussions at all time, and it meets the flexibility requirements I have with my schedule.
