Campus Resources: LAB Tech's/ Library All Day – My school provides us with many resources and technology to full fill our knowledge and complete projects and research. I in my part go to Lab's all the time to work on my fashion design Projects with adobe programs. and I use the library for research.

Campus Resources: Great Online Help Desk. The online help desk is a great resource for students. If you are experiencing and technical difficulties they will walk you through it until you get it right. They will also direct you to who you need to talk to for things like academic counseling, tutoring, ect. I am very pleased with resources available to each student.

Student Body: Working Class With Families – There are students that have their own families and carry full time jobs. I have also met some students that do not have families. Online classes makes it possible to complete a degree and still be able to conquer your everyday responsibilities. I am a single mother and I wouldn't be able to do it if it were not for the accessibility to online classes.

Academic Experience: The Professors Are Very Involved. The professors take their time to have one on one participation with each individual student. They take extra time to comment on each and every work and discussion that is submitted. I really enjoy how much the professors are involved and how it really makes a difference in you grades and how much information that you learn.

Academic Experience: Classes Are Challenging. I am an Art Education major. I find that the course material is very thorough. The school lets you know what to expect with a detailed outline before classes even start. The classes are course specific so it makes it very easy to schedule. The professors are very professional and take time to help each individual student. I am extatic to be able to attend school at Academy of Art University. I wouldn't be able to do it if it weren't for there online programs.

Academic Flexibility: Prevale of Transferred Credits – I was very pleases with the per-evaluation of credits able to be transferred. You send your unofficial transcript and they evaluate to see how many could possibly be transferred and they do it within a day or two, so you get your answer quickly. Then an adviser talks with you to tell you why some credits didn't get transferred if they didn't or what did get transferred. This prevale is free and takes little time and that way you have an idea of how many credits are transferable when you go in.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Super Expensive – The financial aid department was helpful but he seemed impatient at sometimes. The university is very expensive but we have to keep in mind that it is a private university. The financial aid representative will sit through with you and help you understand the costs and how you can pay for them.

Campus Resources: I attend the university online only and the resources available to the students online is readily available, helpful, and organized.

Overall Experience: Some Good, Some Bad – The first adviser I spoke to in the admissions department wasn't helpful or very professional. I had to ask the questions to find any information out about the school otherwise she was very quiet and didn't let me know of any information. When I called and got a different adviser, He was as much help as I needed, and if he didn't know the answer to the question I had he directed me to someone that did. The financial adviser was helpful as well but he seemed impatient at times. Overall it was a good experience and I'm thankful and glad to be apart of the school where I hope God leads me to do great things for Him.

Campus Resources: Unique Online Program – I have just enrolled into the Academy of Arts University and havn't even started classes yet but I was given a sample of how the courses online would be and it is the most interactive online schooling I've ever scene. Also the video lectures are from the same instructors, who have careers in the industry that they teach about, are on the actual college campus. In addition, there are no set times or dates to login or log out for attendance. The program is week by week; each week you are given an assignment and you can log in or out as many times that week as you want and your assignment or project is due at the end of the week.

Campus Resources: A Little Outdated – The building is a little old. It would be nice if everything were a little more up to date. The student lounge is just a room with some old couches in it. It's not the newest and nicest building but it works!

Student Body: When I started art school I expected to see all these artsy people. I was very nervous, but I was impressed with the diversity at this school. Many of them are fresh out of high school and don't work. I work full time and I graduated high school a while ago so I don't exactly fit in with everyone but that's never been a problem for me.

Overall Experience: Amazing Teachers – Despite my bad luck with parking and the Mac lab, the learning environment at this school is great. Every teacher I have had so far is truly passionate about what they teach. I've learned so much in my first year. They are all fair, although some are tougher than others. They really want their students to understand what they are teaching and it's so nice to have someone really care about my education. They really love what they do and it's reassuring that they all have careers in the department they teach. I am really happy with my decision to go to this school.

Campus Resources: Mac Lab – The mac lab is for students to work on projects, print and get help. The only problem is that the people who work there are usually very unhelpful. I think it's great that we are provided with excellent computers and programs to work with but the people working in the lab aren't the nicest. Also the printer is confusing and I usually have to ask for help using it. I t would be nice if the printers and card machines worked as well as everything else in the lab.

Overall Experience: Really Happy With Choice – I like my school. The professors are pretty well known and AAU is giving me an education, which is all that matters. I haven't really attended many events or school functions, but that's not why I'm here. As long as that diploma is on the horizon, I'm happy with my school experience.

Career Services: No Problems Here. I have not had to use the services yet so I don't have any issues with it.

Academic Experience: Great Academic Experience – The academic experience is what oyu make of it. I have enjoyed my time at AAU. The projects are challenging and push my knowledge base further ahead. The workload can be time consuming but it is well worth it.

Academic Experience: Fashion Design Is a Tough Major – My major is in fashion and it is very time consuming, hard work and very rewarding to me. With online classes I have a week, in most cases,to finish a project or two by the due date. All the classes I take are focused on my major which is perfect because some of them work with each other in research and designing. Depending on your location interships are challenging to find. If you live in SF then it is pretty easy to apply to them.
