Academic Experience: I love my major and all it has to offer. The school offers a lot of help and bring opportunities to you constantly making your life easier. The location is unique and inspiring every class as your surrounded by previous projects and cool design elements.

Academic Experience: I've never had problems with registration, I actually enjoy registering on the phone, my advisor always pumped me up and was really nice about giving information without me needing to do find it myself. The only problem is they change my advisor a lot. I was getting comfortable with my advisor and wished I hadn't had to switch . But overall, registration is easy and should be exciting !

Student Body: This is school as a huge variety for a student body, there are all kinds of different ethnics, religious, sexual, rich, poor, and different views on political, etc. The one thing they all have in common is they love art, and their passion is making it their career, and we all work together.

Campus Resources: Everything on the campus with their computer network is amazing. Everywhere in the school is Apple oriented. Every mac lab you go to, they all have the same programs for you to be able to access for your classes. They have all kinds of printers for you to pay a short fee, or before 10am its free. You can print all sizes and in different qualities for whatever project you have. Also if you ever need any help with anything, there is always someone who can help. There is always free wifi in all the buildings for the students to use, and you can access it with your student username and password.

Campus Resources: Most schools have a 50% liberal arts and a 50% toward your major, but the Academy has a 75% toward your major and 25% liberal arts. This way you are not wasting your time taking classes you will not need. Also there really isn't a campus, downtown San Francisco is the campus, but don't worry because to be able to get into any one of the buildings you must scan your student ID. That way you don't have any strangers getting into any school building, and you can feel safe.

Campus Resources: Everything in the school is very reliable. There are multiple gyms around the campus that is most convenient to you, they have a huge library with anything you could ever need. They have multiple mac labs for the students to use along with printers that can print in various sizes. There are always campus activities such as athletic games, or movie nights, and etc. The teachers, RA's, security, and even kitchen staff at the cafe's get to know your name and you as a person.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I would say they are very easy-going and verbal with the financial aid options. In regards with their site and sources it is made available. As a warning note make sure to be clear about what it is you need to pay for and make sure the forms are filled out before hand before anything else happens.

Academic Flexibility: Out of all the schools I would honestly say this is the winner. The representatives actually showed a great compassionate nature to my current situation I was in. In fact they were also fair and honest about what was best for me. In regards to that the flexibility with paying for the deadlines and have the classes fit my daily lifestyle and schedule is great!

Student Body: A- .my school has as the most dynamic, unified, studnent body known. there are students from different countries so with that different customs, and creativity, and visions are all combined into one.

Academic Experience: You have lots of classes, lots of work and it is all very informative, interesting, and artistic. AAU looks to turn their students into very well rounded people in their field of study. The curriculum I studied last semester I had never been introduced to before, their facilities are open to online students like myself, and I hear their internship/job opportunities are great because they have many many connections in the fields they teach.

Career Services: Everything I have looked at so far as future prospects of my career has been very captivating. I have only spent one semester at AAU so I don't have all the answers here, but I got in on a conference they posted online which had recruiters from different parts of the industry I am interested in, including Lucas Films, and the information that was given out in regards to what you should expect when you start looking was an eye opener. All the tips you can get to help you prepare for your new career while you are studying for your new career is greatly appreciated here. I haven't taken a lot of time in the career center or the alumni network, but I figured when I have more education under my belt and I feel ready to start looking at interships that I can see AAU has lots of information to help me on my path.

Student Body: The most diversified school in America. Students from all ethnic, economic, political, religious and sexual backgrounds attend AAU, especially the online programs. I think it is great that the school can offer so many the option to take courses with the best in the fields. Last semester I was in love with many of the students because of their creativity.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The one thing about AAU is that you get what you pay for. The teachers are great, the software is awesome, the program I am taking is incredible. I have learned so much in one semester that I knew I would continue on at AAU no matter what I have to do to get my tuition paid. I can't imagine going to school anywhere else. The financial aid office is wonderful, and with a school this big you get a great response when you need help. Of course, filing for aid is on you, you have to take those steps and file for all the aid you can get, file for scholarships and grants on a regular basis, and make agreements you know you can meet to get your tuition out of the way and focus on your education each semester.

Online Courses: I took 2 online courses his past semester. They are very tricky if you don't know what you're doing. You have to make sure to read everything and do exactly what professors ask, or else you won't have the requirements to get a good grade. Each professor is different. Make sure you comment at least 3 or 4 times a week in addition to your own posts or else your grade will be lowered.

Tuition & Financial Aid: As a grad student who is out of state, I have little to no help from the school. Any aid they give is to undergrads/in state students. Its frustrating because I have to take out grants and federal loans.

Academic Flexibility: I was a transfer student and I've got to say it has been great. My admissions councelor went out of his way to get my credits transferred.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid people are friendly enough but, I wish they'd offer more scholarships. The tuition is reasonable but if you have to pay it all out of pocket... it is painful!

Online Courses: I was extremely overwhelmed because I hadn't taken a writing course in over ten years. It was great because you get to interact with other students in other majors and the professor was very forthcoming. He interacted with the students snd his discussion topics very sometimes controvertial giving the students a chance to voice their opinion in a respected environment.

Unlike most college courses we actually read the text book cover to cover; although it could sometimes get boring it definitely made you think outside the box.

Online Courses: The online courses just help to get your general Ed class out the way.I would say to only take classes like English, Math, Science, and History class but do not tale classes that have to do with your major because you will end up not learning anything and you will behind your peers who did their classes online. General Ed classes are really simple and easy and trust me the things you will do online are things you already know also taking these class on campus are a waste of time.
