Campus Resources: The library is probably the best resource for any student it's filled with tons of books, there are photo clippings separated based on time period, movies a theater, and tons of other resources readily available. The downfall would be that you have to pay to print and copy but it's still understandable.
There are two gyms and Sutter street also offers things like dance class, zumba, yoga, etc...
If you live in the dorms there are always some campus activities going on and the RA's try to keep everyone involved.

Campus Resources: There's a gym or two, a library filled with art books, several computer labs, every dorm has a common room with tv, cable, and games plus a table game like pool. The Resident Advisors set up monthly activities, plus there are trips to different countries and states, kareoke nights, movie nights, and much more.

Academic Experience: I am still not sure of this, since I am a newly enrolled student, but when I went to the Open house, it was pretty great all the feedback I got from directors and professors of my major on my portfolio, for example.

Academic Experience: I'm a photography major, and my classes are exactly what I expected so far. I haven't had to take any courses that have nothing to do with photography so far. In fact, all of the classes I'm taking this semester are related to my major, which is nice because the material is super interesting to me. The workload for a photography major here is intensive but not overwhelming.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I don't feel that the value of the education is worth the tuition and the supplies. The one thing I hate the most is that unlike most schools, they don't let you use your financial aid to pay for books and supplies out of your student account. You have to wait until you're refunded the extra aid 2 weeks later and for a lot of the art classes, I didn't even use half the supplies or books I was required to buy. They weren't even used in any of the curriculum. There is a big lack of scholarships too, they basically expect you to take out student loans.

Online Courses: There is a lot of peer-to-peer interaction due to having discussion topics in every class. Participation in discussion affects your grade. I think the workload is somewhat reasonable but like most teachers, it tends to be a bit overwhelming because they all don't realize you're taking other classes. Registration is extremely simple and tech support is always available should you have any issues.

Campus Resources: I actually live in Michigan and only take online classes so I could not give an honest answer about how the campus is

Campus Resources: Printing would be a lot easier if there were more printing locations. I have to walk to the Library almost 8 blocks away to print off anything, which can be inconvenient if I need to print something right before class which is only two blocks away. The labs are great and they keep them neat and orderly, but having to walk so far to print off a single paper gets old. I can't afford to buy my own printer. As far as the wireless access, it is poor in my dorm but better in others. They recently installed a router in my room to improve the internet connection, but when I go to FaceTime my fiancé who goes to school elsewhere, it crashes.

Campus Resources: Computer labs are always available for the students but is the fullest when midterms and finals come around. Printers are everywhere on campus. The network is very reliable, the speed is excellent, and the wireless access is average. The need for a personal computer or printer is always available.

Campus Resources: The campus is amazing because it is in the heart of the city of San Francisco. There are different buildings for different majors and subjects. There are always campus activities happening and you can tell because they are posted on the tv screens and on posters. The library has many books, computers, and printers available and there are many tables, chairs, and couches for students to hang out or work on their projects. There is a pool and a gym too at a different building if students want to work out.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The Financial Aid department is very helpful and they will mail and email you everything that needs to be done before the due date of your financial aid. They also provide what needs to be complete or what not on your student self service account online. You can drop in at the Financial Aid Offices and they will gladly help you on anything that you need help on. The staff is very nice.

Campus Resources: Tutoring is free and the Academy will do anything to help you. The staff and teachers are extremely nice. The teachers will give you all the help you need on projects and will give you a better understanding on the material. The working labs are open until 1:30am and there are teachers there who will help you. Buses going to different buildings in the city are free as well.

Academic Flexibility: It convenient to my life but there's a lot of work each week that makes working more than a part time job difficult.

3 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: It is considerably more expensive than a state college or university. I will have student loans for many years after I graduate. However, the education is top notch and I will have a degree in an area I am passionate about.

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: Most of my fellow students are attending this school because they are passionate about some sort of art; music, game design, visual media, interior design and more. I do socialize outside of class but most students are not that into socializing or partying. They are there to learn.

Academic Flexibility: One of the best things about the Academy of Art are the class schedules, they're flexible and organized according to your personal needs. Each student is given a student adviser who helps you decide and plan your schedule throughout your time at the school. This has been a huge plus for me because it helps me organize myself and my weekly work schedule.
The workload changes with every class, but the school has a great workshops program that allows students to speak to teachers, in a one on one setting, and get the help they need to complete assignments. The workshops at the Academy are my favorite! I go several times a week and get the extra attention and help that I need from my teachers. It is also a great way to connect with your teachers and get the most out of what they know as working professionals.

Overall Experience: it is a very expensive school but so worth it, I am in love with this school and love to be doing what I love!

Academic Experience: I wish the professors were more involved with the students here, but understand it must be hard to have a personal relationship with us.
