Career Services: I have no experience yet since I am a freshmen, but I believe from what I have heard many companies do hire the graduates from the school but then again there are so few that do tend to graduate of course.

Campus Resources: They have all the help you could possibly ask for. From reaching them by e-mail or by phone, they are always there. And if having any troubles in class they have special tutoring as well and not just the teachers themselves.

Academic Experience: The professors at the AAU graphic design program are extremely helpful and nice. The class registration process is easy and smooth. My tip on workload is do not procrastinate. There are a lot of stuff to do and procrastination is not an option. I wish that they would also tell us that we would have to go outside to get our projects done. Such as printing portfolios, getting rubdowns done for our bottles, etc. Its very expensive and that was extra expense that I didn't know I had to do out of the pocket. The special study options that I experienced was, one of my ESL class, we had a second assistant who is willingly to use his time outside to have study groups. That was a great advantage if people actually went to his study group sessions.

Student Body: The students here are very friendly. This campus have a lot of international students from all over the world and they love to socialize with others who came from different regions. We all help each other even though we have some language barriers and culture. The people I meet are full and part time students. As well is having a job at the same time. Some wanted to find a different career when they graduated college from their home country and came to AAU for a second career or life.

Campus Resources: I only go to two graphic design buildings, and the only posting I see were the fitness center on the walls of each floor and sometimes in the elevator. However, I do not know where the libraries are, nor am I getting any information about campus clubs. I do wish they would email or post when we have a club day or similar to it so we can meet new friends.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The school's tuition is a bit pricey, but that is just me because its the first time that I am going to a private school. The whole process is pretty simple, though I wish I had financial aid help instead of taking so much loans out. The people who works at the financial aid office are really nice and helpful. Tips that I would offer is manage the time with filling out the forms and getting them done before the deadline.

Campus Resources: AAU pushes you to be the best in your field. They cover all areas of artistic abilities. They are located all over San Francisco in these rare old refurbished buildings that take your breath aways.

Campus Resources: The Spring Fashion Show was spectacular. The library is open to all students on campus and online.

5 College Freshman

Campus Resources: I am an online student and I love the network reliability and the computer labs that we can sign up for in many subjects.

5 College Junior

Online Courses: All of my classes are online and so far I've loved them all. The teachers are very informative and helpful, and the discussion system helps to really create a classroom feel by getting all the students to interact. The projects are great too, and they keep in mind that online students may not have access to some professional equipment.

Student Body: So far many of the students are from all walks of life as well as countries around the world. I did notice, being a non-traditional older student, that some classmates did not take the assignments seriously and within the first 4 weeks we went from 24 to 17 students in an Illustration class. By the end of the Illustration class there were only 9 students left and only 6 completed all assignments and participated regularly in class discussions. The serious students tend to be more focused while still being somewhat social but it is very obvious that school work ir more important than socializing.

Career Services: There are monthly meetings available with Alumni, Internship programs, and an annual show where recruiters come and speak with graduating students for internships or job placement that is very successful.

Academic Experience: I'm a Fashion Design major taking all my classes online. It is far easier for me having all online classes as I have a spinal cord injury. This enables me to do all my work and classes right in one place without any travelling. The classes so far have been very good and all the teachers are passionate about the classes and subjects they teach. Instead of just focusing on design, we have been given introductions to fabric design and manufacturing as well as all the aspects of the fashion industry as a business and whole. I feel the classes AAU offers make for a knowledgeable and better prepared graduate than some other programs I looked into.

Campus Resources: If you are looking for Online Degree, AAU provide you a very professional and well educate program. Professor will push you as far as they can to ensure you understand the topic and homework requirement. They are also very helpful and constant replied. So you won't feel left out even though it is online program.

Student Body: We have a wide range of students in my 4 classes I have taken at AAU, different ethnic groups and both male and female, I'm sure there's a variety of religious groups too but we don't really talk to much about religion in class we focus more on our images.

4 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: The hours of the classes are quite more flexible than I had realized. I am an online student, mind you, so of course they are flexible. But as I register, I noticed that there are a wide variety of hours for the classes desired. Also, the faculty are very calm and caring, and they understand when you can't reach them at some point. It's a gratifying thing to know how busy a person must be.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The Financial Aid and Tuition process is definitely worth the work and effort. It was also helpful and quite kind that they also provided me with additional aid like grants and links to scholarships to help me further my journey in achieving my goals. Needless to say, Although I am just an online student, the school work is indeed worth the payoff. Though it is expensive, you get a lot of information from the instructors.

Online Courses: Easy to understand and move about the class subject matter. I have taken online classes from another college, AAU is far more interactive and easier to understand. Instructors are very involved as well. Timeliness is still critical; work due at specific times.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Taking this class as an online student from another state (and non-resident) puts you at a disadvantage on what you qualify for (cannot qualify for cal grants nor my state's programs). It is the most expensive school I research, but it is proving to be worth it. Processing Financial Aid was quick and you can do a lot of it strait from your online account. California resident students should make it as an A+ though.

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: Online we interact a lot, some mandatory based on the current subject matter, but not always. When work load is lower you find more casual conversations; sharing on current events and extra activities. By far it is not on the top of priorities of an online class geared towards a busy life outside of school. Mostly tips etc.

College Freshman

Academic Experience: I really cannot rate anything yet this is only my first semester and online. I am expecting a great out come.

5 College Freshman

Academic Experience: My professors online were very involved in what we where doing. I was surprised. And I was pleased with that kind of service. If i were at school hands on I would be right there asking the same questions.

Academic Experience: Sometimes the workload is a little overwhelming, but if you pace yourself you can get work done in a timely manner. Everyone is busy all the time so just leave some time to get your work done and in a professional manner. Make sure you post the best work you can do.

3 College Student

Academic Flexibility: Being an online student makes everything flexible from job to home life. I can work on my assignments at any time and still get my work done on time. The teachers are very flexible except for the odd one who states everything has to be in on time and no late posting allowed. But other wise very flexible.
