Academic Flexibility: I have had no trouble at all with transfer credits from my previous school. The curriculum has had its software challenges but good communication with the instructor on these issues resolves any trouble.

Online Courses: The course are great. The courses offer a ton of information and challenge you to be the best that you can be. The instructors give valuable critiques and show a genuine interest in your studies.

Campus Resources: I am an online student so I do not know what the campus has to offer.

College Student

Campus Resources: I am strictly an online student so I would not know about campus resources.

4 College Student

Academic Experience: Everyone is readily available to answer my questions and provide more than I thought I needed.

Campus Resources: The instructors and advisors go the extra mile and give you information beyond what is already given. My admissions advisor gave me information on a scholarship that I didn't know about (which I received) and the instructors have always answered additional question outside the parameter of the class.

Academic Experience: The information and skills I have acquired and have improved upon I am actually using in the real world as a novice but experience comes with more work and this is what I had hoped for. The experienced staff is supportive and informative this is unique I feel for my school of Illustration.

Campus Resources: the many instructors who are active in the area I am in school for and are actually teaching what they do for a living.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: online support is good I am not always up to date with changes but it has been sometimes my fault

Tuition & Financial Aid: with requiring me to retake classes I ended up taking longer to graduate and the cost increased with now much more owed I think I needed a bit more counseling and perhaps better options of taking the refresher classes with my local jr college it would have been more cost effective and I may have graduated earlier instead now I am without funds and not graduating and still owe a great deal of money.

Academic Experience: I am extremely happy with the choices offered, I don't feel as though I am taking a bunch of classes that are a waste of my time. My previous degree I felt as though have my time was spent taking classes that would never help me later on but the classes here all are relevant to what I want to do.

4 College Student

Student Body: My experience so far is that everyone is very social and loves to share what they do with others making a huge support group for each other.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition is high in my opinion but I wouldn't expect anything less for a private collage with program I am looking at. Financial aid isn't an issue for me since this is my second degree I won't be using financial aid this time around. However, I know two other students attending here and they have had no issues with financial aid and the financial aid advisors have been friendly and extremely helpful.

Career Services: Although I am not to a point of where I really need to use I can access information on past students and where they landed after graduation as well a multitude of information on the types of jobs I should be looking for now before I graduate. I find the service very helpful at this point.

3 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: The Academy of Art tuition is well worth the quality of education and opportunities it provides for students.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: The Academy of Art provides both Mac and PC computers for students. Printing, scanning and copying is available in the library and other places on campus. There is pretty decent free wifi all over campus.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: There is a library with computers, books, printers, copyer, and scanners. There is great gym available free for students and faculty. There are lounges to hang out in between class that allow you to work on assignments, eat food, or watch a movie. Also there is a variety of clubs to choose from that fit your interest.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: The Academy of Art provides it's own transportation for the many campuses all over the city. There is free gym access to all students. There is free tutoring available for all majors that students have access to throughout the semester. The school also provides non-academic activities like monthly movies, trips, athletic events, clubs, etc. to allow students to relieve stress from busy academic schedules.

4 College Sophomore

Student Body: Most People are pretty understanding and respectful of beliefs, cultures, etc.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Every building, depending on the building you go into for what you need, should have a good amount of resources depending on what it is you came for in the first place. (eg. going into the Fashion Building to find what you need for Fashion-related resources.)

3 College Sophomore

Career Services: The school has work studies but I did not need it because I got a job at the school just washing dishes. However, I have not graduate yet.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I like how the school is not in one place. The school is around the downtown area. My only wish is that they can fix the bus time on their school application.

4 College Freshman

Online Courses: The online courses are very clear, and the assignments really nail down the 'how to' of a subject. The online discussions are also quite robust, more than I have ever experienced in an actual classroom, probably because students have time to think out questions and responses to questions.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: My professors are all skilled in the subjects on which they teach, and have many years experience leading a classroom. This has made me confident in their judgement of my work, and in their suggestions on how I can improve.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: AAU does not give out "A" grades unless the work is professional quality. I find that this sort of demand on my performance has spring loaded my motivation and enthusiasm, and I have seen great improvement of skill as a result.
