Overall Experience: I enjoy this school in every aspect. No school is going to be perfect. But the Academy is pretty amazing. If I have any questions there is always someone there willing to help me. And the fact that this school is in San Francisco brings such a diverse crowd and I love meeting people with such different interests.

Campus Resources: There are several computer labs, editing rooms, printing for free and wifi available to students. Sometimes only majors/year student is in are allowed to use the computers, labs, or editing rooms due to the high demand from all of the students.

Campus Resources: Every resource is available to the student body. Student center, library, sports, clubs, workshops etc. They are work together to give us as much information as they can and give every student an opportunity to take advantage of it.

Academic Experience: Being an Editing major is fun, interactive and very tedious. It's nothing I can't handle. I get to learn different aspect of film and get to apply them all to a short film every few weeks.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: Our Academics are pretty similar to every other college. Great professors for the most part and registration is really simple and easy to follow. The workload is nothing above average, and I have available resources to help me if I need assistance.

Student Body: Every single person I have met at this school is so different from another. Whether is race, major, sport or interest. There's so many different levels of each major, so I meet so many great and bright students that are so passionately involved with there interest. Some people are screen writers who have endless scripts I could read. Some students love editing, like myself, and have countless raw footage of their own material waiting to be edited. Everyone is so involved with there work and it's so interested to meet a new person and learn something new.

Facilities: I love that we have recently added Athletics to our school. It makes us feel more involved with other schools. I also fell in love with the architecture of our layout. I think theres about 20 different campuses around the city, and every one has something unique about it. Some look like houses, brick buildings, and apartments. We also have endless amounts of resources available for us to take advantage of. (I am a Motion Picture and TV major and,) If we are shooting a film and need actors, cinematographers, cameramen etc, we have people already volunteering online to help us out. We also have different workshops for improv, camera placement, using editing software, underwater shooting and even show rooms with scene stages that we can practice filming on. These are just a few I can think of, and this is just within my major. We have over 23 majors. I can only imagine all of the other resources.

Online Courses: My online teachers have been great. They connect with you as a class, and as an individual. I've had a great experience with communication. My teachers make sure to leave me with more than enough information on what i'm doing well on, and what I can do to improve. My online teacher as well as all of my teachers are really interested in the subject they teach so it really keeps me on my toes and eager to learn more. We also have daily discussions online with students, so it's very easy to interact and still have a personable relationship with them as well. Taking online classes at the Academy is very organized because the school knows people from all over the Bay area are traveling and sometimes it's easier (for transit purposes) to register online and still get the same quality education.

Academic Flexibility: The Academic flexibility is based on a level of understanding. Problems come up and teachers are understanding when necessary.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I am a Motion Picture and Television major. For some reason I wasn't granted any free money based on my information provided last year. I pay almost $2,000 a month just for school alone, and a few of my classed I could have honestly taught myself. Most of the staff is great. I feel like the some classes could involve a little more interaction. Overall I love this school and most of the classes are great and keep me interested! I broke it down once and im paying around $150 for every single class I take a week. It just seems like SO much money in that sort of retrospect when again I feel like I could google some of the things we learn and teach myself.

Overall Experience: This is the 3rd University I have been to and by far the best. 100% online is great since I live in another state, but I would see myself going on campus if I ever lived there. The information has thus far been very helpful and I am actually learning new things from professors who know what they are talking about and practice it themselves.

4 College Sophomore

Online Courses: It's pretty simple to use and most professors follow the same type of set up, which is nice.
