4 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I've had limited experience with the online courses at AAU, but even that little was a positive one. Sure, with some film production classes, operating online can be difficult, but otherwise they do a great job of integrating the system.

Campus Resources: The best area to talk about are the computer labs and equipment rooms, basically, if you are there to make a short film (I am in film) they have every kind of camera or equipment you need to shoot, and a myriad of computers and software to conduct post production. All around a well provided for resource.

Campus Resources: There is a single wifi service for each of the buildings, and it is thankfully operating on the same dns address and with the same login info, so when you go from building to building you don't have to change anything. Sometimes the connections can be spotty, but that's more because the buildings are typical san francisco style large blocks of concrete.

Student Body: As is typical of most universities, the quality of the student body greatly increases once you get out of the freshmen year. Most are enthusiastic when it comes to helping on school projects and other activities.

Facilities: Most of the facilities are well maintained and up to date. Sometimes the amount of space can feel cramped, but that is not unusual considering it is downtown San Francisco. Even if some of the rooms are small, when you get into labs and equipment, there are always plenty of options.

Campus Resources: I am an online student so I do not have to go to the campus.

Campus Resources: While I am an online student, I have not had any issues with getting to the schools site to participate in my classes.

Academic Flexibility: I have had no issues in transferring credits when I started school.

Student Body: With the program I am currently in is completely online, I am able to converse with people from all over the country and in some cases, the world.

Facilities: I enjoy the programs offered by my school. They apply directly to the field in which I want to work in.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I feel that while the tuition can be high at times, I am getting the most out of my school.

Overall Experience: I am always nervous about my choices, but I feel that this school I can get some very good things out of it. I just wish I didn't have to pay so much to build my portfolio. I feel guilty going to school.

Facilities: I enjoy the variety of buildings I go to on a daily basis for classes. It can be a pain to haul my stuff, but the variety keeps each day exciting.

Student Body: I haven't had too much interaction with the student body, though they seem enthusiastic about trying to get people to attend their events, which is nice to see.

Career Services: I have not explored it thoroughly as this is still my first semester but so far there are plenty of opportunities to explore industry standards for what they are looking for in my career paths. I think when I use the career services I will not be disappointed.

College Freshman

Online Courses: I haven't taken any of their online classes yet.

Academic Flexibility: It's been hard because I feel the administration was not up front about how much it would cost per year and how long it would take to graduate. For example, they did not mention summer session would be needed to taken to graduate in 3 years at my point, which adds to my tuition. That changes everything in how I have to plan and is a huge stress factor.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I wouldn't mind paying tuition if there were more school scholarships available. It's going to be hard paying for college, but I sincerely want to go so I will have to take advantage of other outside resources to help pay for it. I cannot fully rely on a job because my school work takes a lot of time, and I don't want to sacrifice my education in order to pay it.

4 College Freshman

Campus Resources: Campus is large, and thanks to the bus system, a student can get to places fairly easy, but it's always good to be there at least 15 minutes early because buses can be a little unreliable. However, the resources there are excellent if you're willing to take advantage of them.

3 College Freshman

Campus Resources: The computers and wifi connection are generally reliable, however, each time in my Digital Media 1 class, we always have issues with getting class started because the system or Photoshop will refuse to run on the computer. It eats up anywhere from5-30 minutes of out class times waiting for it to be resolved.

Career Services: It is ok, I am currently an online student so I can't talk much.

4 College Student

Student Body: It is ok, I am currently an online student so I can't talk much.

Tuition & Financial Aid: They aren't straight forward and the sight they use to show your finance is extremely confusing. Calling admins is not effective at all. They're usually away from the phone and don't answer.

Online Courses: I would rather be in a class room then do it online. I tend to learn more that way. Most of the online classes is a tirade of the past with 1 or 2 things about present day.
