3 College Junior

Campus Resources: Good Access – The school has good network reliability and easy access to computers and printing.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: For the Most Part, Happy. I like the size of my college and the fairly small size of classes. Most of the professors I've had are great at interacting with students and teaching the material. But they need to look into having more than one professor teaching a course.

1 College Junior

Academic Experience: Need to Have More Professors Teaching Course – They should have a more variety of professors teaching a course, not just one.

College Junior

Career Services: this school currently has no post graduate programs.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: The one thing I love about this place is how personable the faculty are. With small class sizes they know you and learn your strengths/weaknesses. Always willing to give additional help outside of class.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: The network is consistently fast, but wireless access is limited in the student housing areas unless you bring your own router. The computer labs have only a few computers in them each, so very few students can get on at a time

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: much of what's on campus is severely out of date. They are working to fix this, but the budget is very limiting. very little in way of student activities, also being worked on currently.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: My school has a small Greek system but one that is very friendly! I am a part of the Greek system and there are no conflicts between any organization everyone loves everyone.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I am very happy with my choice of school. Being a small school you have a lot of school pride and everyone knows everyone. It's more like a small town than a school. The teachers know you by name not a number and they treat you with respect.

5 College Sophomore

Career Services: Most student leave Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and transfer to a bigger school to pursue a higher degree. However most of those that finish their education at ABAC have most found jobs. There are a lot of opportunities in that area for the degrees ABAC offers.

Overall Experience: Great School – I love my school. It's fun and exciting to be there. We have a great staff and my teachers are very hopeful in hoping me suceed, which is my main priority. I'm very proud of my school experience.

Academic Flexibility: First Time – This is my time going to college and I really havent had any credits to transfer, but I'm sure if iI had to it wouldnt be any problem for me. I chose this because I'm able to work around my personal schedule and still attend college when I have to.

Student Body: Strong Worker – My school is all about hard working people, to get where they want to be in the future; however, most students have full time jobs and they manage to get the job done in both fields, while working outside of school and inside of school. They have amazing personality and everyone get along. Education is very important to the students at our college. They work very hard to get education so they can find a better interest in their career.

Online Courses: Keep a Schedule – I was nervous to take Accounting 1 online, but the teacher helped make the class a breeze. The workload was consistent; at the beginning of the semester, the teacher gave us a detailed schedule of homework, quizzes, and tests. There was much interaction via email between students and the teacher. I wrote down the due dates for each assignment on a calendar so that I could keep up with my work. It was a great learning experience on how to be responsible for assignments without being reminded. Plus, it was nice only commuting on exam dates.

Academic Flexibility: Registration Headaches – The main reason I chose this school was because of the agricultural majors it offers and the small class sizes. However, registering for classes each semester can be a pain, especially since I have completed most of the requirements for my degree. This means I have a limited number of classes to fit into my schedule, and sometimes there may be only one class offered that semester. Advisors are extremely helpful, though.

Student Body: Something that I like about my college is that the diversity range is pretty big. I know there are students from more than twenty different countries that are currently attending. I like it because we all get to interact with different cultures.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: In some areas of the campus, the internet runs pretty slow. I think that it might me the computers because in my room, the wireless access is pretty good. I like it because I do most of my homework in my room.

4 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: Check It Out – The financial aid that i have received has helped me throughout my first year of college. I usually receive an email from our financial aid office when there is some type of situation. I think it is very helpful because it is like reminder that things need to get done.

5 College Freshman

Campus Resources: Academic Acheivement Center (AAC) – In the ACC, what I like about the place is that their are a lot of tutors to help you out in your work when you have trouble or just need someone to review what you have done. In the beginning is a great place to study but then a lot of students later would come and would do their work. It's not loud but not quiet either like the library. If you wanted to study in a quiet place either can go to a study room or the library. The AAC is what I love best because you will know that someone in the building will help you in your work.

Academic Experience: Nursing Major – My major right now is Nursing. The program to get in is tough and hard work. I know you would have to study hard for entering in the program. The classes are good and helps you get an idea of what the classes in the program would be. Overall only hard work and to do your best.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Worth It – The Financial aid helped me out into paying for my studies and housing. I know that when I get a degree in what I want I could pay back little by little from the loan I borrowed. The Financial Aid helps out to find ways for you to get scholarships. Always do your FAFSA first in order to find out how much you will be getting. Other than that don't procrastinate into enrolling or going back in college.

Overall Experience: I think ABAC is a great school to start at after graduating from high school. I have found several great friends, and I have learned much about myself during my time here. I think the faculty is excellent. The teachers will actually take time to help individuals, and they teach their subjects well. The community atmosphere is comfortable. There is not an enormous city with congested traffic, and everything I need is only a few minutes away. In addition, there are many opportunities to become involved on campus, and you don't have to compete with an enormous amount of other students to get leadership positions in clubs. I am glad I chose to come to ABAC first. I think it will definitely be a solid foundation to prepare me for my future.

1 College Junior

Career Services: Not Sure – We don't offer post grad services to my knowledge. This is because ABAC is an 2 year institution.

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: You make you schedule. If you sign up for a fully load you will be stressed. I learned to make a schedule to work around my time. This school is fast, very good adminstration. Everything is pretty fair.

4 College Junior

Student Body: OUR STUDENTS ARE UNIQUE – The student body is very diverse. You see different walks of life at ABAC. It's a friendly yet same learning environment with determine students.
